Heh. The TV-series didn't actually make it to Sweden until after the first movie.

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Paladin 1

Sexual Orientation: 1d10 ⇒ 7 (1-6 = Straight, 7-8 = Bi, 9-10 = Lesbian)

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

Yep, we're definitely starting to look like a modern remake of Charlie's Angels.

Yes, please. Dungeon Master Player 15/Dungeon Master 13/Monk 2(I'm out of practice!)

loving. This.

So, I was looking around DeviantArt, and...

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Paladin 1

...I don't care if it's labeled "Priestess of Shelyn" - I'm not putting that on unless someone is very persuasive! And judging by that top, I'd need at least two people to help me anyway! Besides, how on Golarion am I supposed to fight demons without my armour?

O_o

But I suppose it in fact it was 'tan' or flesh coloured leather under the white strips (with them being more decoration or strips of metal); then it might be a bit more practical. Although it does leave the shoulders bare.

Nice glaive however.

Oi! A post! A Palpable Post! We're off! ;)

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

And some pictures I used as inspiration for Ionnia - In Armour (think I've linked to that one before), and in more casual clothing.

Slap? I'm a trained paladin - so more like an uppercut. ;)

that looks like it could double as armor, or like a breastplate could fit over it.

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

Okay, since this is my first PbP, I'll let someone else post first, to get an idea of how things should look.

ah! I didn't know it was your first PbP! :) The pressure's on to be a good GM!!!

In general, post actions and words your character takes normally.

if you have any out of character stuff, such as questions for me or other players, or clarifications on rules or what's going on in the scene, use the [ ooc ] tag. I also tend to use it for dice rolls, etc.

if you ahve anything you'd like clarified, feel free to post here!

Cool Kajehase, is it alright if I arrive with you? I take it we are arriving in town, rather than having a stable long-term lodging.

Yes, please. Dungeon Master Player 15/Dungeon Master 13/Monk 2(I'm out of practice!)

First blood wooooooooooo! runs arounf with kipka on his shoulders

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

*rubs sleepy eyes*

Sounds cool with me.

Male Human Kensai Magus 1

My first PBP as well so don't feel lonely. We can learn together Kajehase!

Female Gnome Ranger 1

Wheeeeee! This is almost as much fun as the famed "last ride" that some flying fiends take their victims on, in theoryyyyyyyyy!

Whoops!
I'd better catch up! :)

Dangit.
I made that ONE comment in the post, and NOW I feel the urge to write a short story with Cernan, a redhead, and a witch coven.

LIke I'm not busy enough, dangit,...

:P

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

Yeah, I totally don't have half an outline for a short story about Ionnia's testing to become a paladin.

And not for a story about how her parents met either... ;)

Maybe while we're digesting all that turkey and trimmings?
Probably not, but I can try,...

;P

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

And sorry if I were a bit slow to respond - yesterday became a 13-hour workday (with a break in it, but yeah...), so I didn't really recover until now.

Don't worry Kajehase. This is only the early rush of a pbp, they usually slow down to a regular rhythm. Hope your day wasn't too physically horrific.

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

Nah, luckily the temperature had shifted enough I was able to work in shorts and t-shirt.

Look! I made something! Ionnia von Sturnidae's coat of arms. Yay for clipart!

Hey All!

Been busy, (read = 'been busy spending all my money to fix too much food for everyone to not finish so I have to fit it in the fridge') ;P

But got some decent family time.

I'll catch up tomorrow,

Happy Thanksgiving to all! and to all a good night!
Cuz I'm going to bed and sleep off this food coma!

:)

Sounds like an excellent day*, glad you had fun and a wonderful time with you family at the holidays.

*barring the spending money thing

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

Grr! Changing aliases is easy to forget on the phone, for some reason.

Yep, happens all the time. Thankfully there's an edit function, although didn't help me earlier in a different pbp when I mis-typed then didn't check it until 2 hours had passed.

Happy post-apocolyptic-turkey-time!

And nice entrance Hiro! :)

Thanks Ragadolf (mind if I call you Rag?). Sorry it took me so long to finally post but this wasn't the best week for me work-wise and then the holiday kinda threw me off.

I have nearly quit my job 3 weeks in a row. My boss SUCKS. Last week I was the only manager in the whole plant and was trying to do the work of 5 managers who were either sick, on vacation, or had been laid off, and keep the plant running and still get my stuff done and when I didn't get some things finished I basically get yelled out in an email for it. Won't even do it to my face! Sent an email! Oh and I have been in my "new" job now for, hmm...., 3 weeks...

<stitches some more on the voodoo doll in between rants>

No problem, just call me "Rags" for short! :)
(WHich I am, actually.) ;P

No worries here, the holidays threw me a fast ball or three as well.

Wow. I have had jobs that I did not care for before, but D@mn son! ;)

Yeah, I would classify that treatment under 'suckiest'. :(

Well keep up the good work, and perhaps someone ELSE (Who does not suck) will notice? Maybe? :/

In the meantime, I hear if you infuse the voodoo doll with napalm it burns brighter and longer. Just a thought,... :)

Not sure how we handle whispers and spoilers. Feel free to look in the tab, it's not that important. I have seen opposed stealth Vs. perception rolls, however mostly I find them unnecessary - but GM's call as to whether any other PC's (barring Ionnia) hear it.

No worries.
I usually fail my Will save vs not peeking. But I also (usually) don't let it slip out in post either. :)

Usually. There have been,... moments,... ;P

It depends upon the situation also. a group split into 2 to invade a fortress with no means of communication can be quite boring if forced to spoiler all. It can ALSO be quite exciting and tension building! (Did the other group get into position in time? Will they be there to meet back up or have they been delayed?)

I'll roll with whatever. This is fun! :)

Man I'm really having fun with this so far. This is going great. Thanks for the invite Jess. My life has recently made me somewhat of an antisocial hermit with the birth of our now 8 month old twins (they are a LOT of work, but worth it! Thanks Rachel for shouldering the bulk of the load!) but they are not very interactive yet on an intellectual level and, frankly, my wife and I's conversations tend to degrade to baby poop consistency, frequency and volume...sooooooo this has become a very good outlet for me right now. Thanks everyone. Keep up the great posts!

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

It does take a while for them to become capable of intellectually stimulating conversation, yes... *thinks back to the times he temped at the toddler-class at various daycare centres* (and that's just the regular staff, don't get me started on the kids).

Twins? Yeah,
I had enough trouble just keeping up with ONE at a time. ;P

Glad things are going well for you (it sounds like)

Yes, I recall frequently (IE=Every day) coming home to my wife babbling straight for hours (usually that's my thing) Just to et some adult conversation.

And she was only at home with the kid(s) for HALF a day,... ;P
But since you cant hardly ever go out, adult conversations become very important. Get them when you can.

The good news, they do grow up and start talking.

Then you can't get them to be quiet,... ;P

Heh. I know how I wanted to play my PC.
But if I keep going in this direction, your all gonna be calling me 'Friar Tuck'. :/

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

More like Friar tuck in. Am I right or am I right?

Spoiler:
I'm not.

Better than Trier F.... oh sorry, I cannot think where my mind was going there.

All man Agitator 1/Bluecollar Worker 2

I have no idea what you mean. :innocent:

And darn, this current trend of play is making me long for a visit to a proper tearoom.

I am very sorry, the holiday season is very busy for me, and I am also dealing with some craziness at work. I think the only time I wasn't working last thrusday, Friday and Saturday was when I was driving to or from work, or sleeping. :(

Trying to catch up while preparing for a big family visit in a couple weeks.

Apologies, if we sort of ran with the game in your absence. Hope you get some lovely rest before the big visit and that things get less frantic.

Yuck. Try and get some rest, and no worries about the game.

No worries, I know I'm crazy(ier than usual) during the holidays, both at home and work. ;P

And as you can see, we are perfectly capable of rambling on either way! ;)

Hope everyone gets (some) rest, and is prepping for a Happy Holiday.
