"Looks like the jumper was escaping the scene of a crime." Akasha says running in the direction of the body. "C'mon!"
Jonah runs after Akasha to look check on the body.
I hope the watch does not show.

An elderly human male lies dead at your feet.
"Death," Vannevar quietly says as he surveys the area.
Jonah looks around as he approaches the body, both to see any hazards, and then to see what the cause of death was.
Moving to the ledge, peering down below.

Crouching over the body, Akasha calls upon past experiences to determine if this is likely a random act of violence or a deliberate targeted murder.
As Akasha and Jonah examine the body they determine right away that the old man has already passed away. There are at least two wounds made by a bladed weapon, and it is Akasha's expert opinion that this was no random attack.
Garotte goes to look over the ledge but is unable to see anything of note, he picks up on the sound of footsteps below coming from the other side of the bridge.
Silian begins to dig through the man's satchel, finding a set of identification papers among the other things in there but before he can look to closely at the papers or anything else in the bag, Tava begins to make a ruckus.
Making a guttural sound deep in her throat, not at all unlike a growl, Tava draws the attention of those near to her. She points at the railing closest to the body and manages the word, "Baaaadd," before you see what is upsetting her.
The cloaked figure has returned, you gather yourselves, prepared to fight as it silently launching itself over the edge of the bridge.

Vannevar swiftly draws his sword and pushes Silian behind him.
Akasha draws her own blade, her form fading into nothing in the falling rain.
"Brother! You are here, with these weak-fleshed races?," She moves forward to swing her battle axe at the area Akasha occupied, believing the woman likely still there and blocking her path to Garotte. "You were thought lost, but now I see you are just a flesh-loving traitor!"

Jonah in a bit of panic steps back as he stands up and draws his longsword.
May the host bring us strength
"Brother?" The warforged blinks. Warforged have no siblings. This assailant has damaged memory. Captain has vanished.
Garotte holds action.
As the figure moved in to swing at the spot Akasha was last seen, the dim light is enough to make it clear that you are fighting a warforged with the mark of Karrnath on her brow.

Vannevar steps forward and lashes out at the warforged, hoping to cut her down swiftly before she realizes that Silian has moved in behind her, but his blade goes wide as the nimble warforged easily evades his attack.
Shifting out of the path of the incoming attack, Akasha strikes quickly, her body flickering into sight as she does.
Akasha hits the warforged hard, a cracking sound can be heard on the impact but it only seems to make the warforged more aggressive.
"What do you gain by protecting the traitor, weak-fleshed human?"
She swings her battleaxe at Akasha once more.
Akasha falls and the warforged says in response to her own question, "Death."

Seeing Akasha fall, Jonah moves up behind Silian and uses him for cover as he reaches down and touches Akasha.
By the host you should not die today
"You have erred." Stepping over Akasha, Garotte rushes the assailant.
The Captain will not fail so swiftly. Medic attending.
You hear someone nearby yell, "Stop! Help, somebody help! They're killing that man!
Soon after you hear police whistles in the distance.
As Garotte slams into the warforged she is knocked back, her hood falls and that is when Garotte recognizes her as Cutter: Unit 21. His recognition comes too late, though, as he has sent her tumbling over the edge of the bridge where she falls, lost to the darkness.
Instinctively Garotte reaches out, but it is too late. Unit Twenty-One is functional... or was. Possibility of Boromar Clan still seeking closure open. "That warforged is known. It answered to the same masters."

"Okay... so our jumper needed a push..." Silian scoops up the bag and belongings of the elderly man. "Shall we wait for the Watch to complicate this or make our exit?" Silian looks to the warforged leaning over the rail. "So... you just offed your sister? You have more brass than I thought. I bet it is all hiding beneath that black plating."
I think we should wait for the watch. It is not like we can really run with that hand cart anyways.
Jonah helps Akasha get out from underfoot of Garrotte.

Silian peruses some of the items in the satchel, and looks over the identification papers. He mumbles, "Yes it is a shame that we were accosted, and the assailant tried to rob House Deneith. I would say that our Lady's wounds healed by Jorasco on the Watch's sovereign would be the least they could do, lest they want the Deneith Enclave to hear of the ineptitude of the Sharn Watch..."
The identification papers identify the man as one Bonal Geldem, Provost of the School of Pre-Galifar Studies at Morgrave University. Along with his identification papers, the well-made satchel contained quills and ink, six blank sheets of fine Karrnathi paper, a wrapped apple, and his journal. A small coin purse attached to his belt contains 10 silver and 2 gold pieces.
You can now see the watch nearby, they'll be there in a minute.
Jonah puts his sword away before the watch arrives
Getting up slowly,Akasha stows her sword, making no attempt to hide her wounds as the guards approach.
Three guards arrive wearing the green-and-black studded leather of Sharn's City Watch, emerging from the rain-drenched night. The leader, a powerfully built bald dwarf with a close-cropped beard steps forward, leveling his crossbow in your direction. A small ball of arcane light hovers over his left shoulder, illuminating the area. To each side, a human male and female stand with halberds at the ready.
"Olladra's bloody nose!" the dwarf curses. "By the order of the Watch, drop your weapons and explain yourselves!"
"In case you haven't noticed, we've put away our weapons and happen to be the victims here," Akasha says stepping forward, still very clearly viciously wounded.
The dwarf's height allows him an excellent view of her Dragonmark

"A day late and a galifar short, the wonderful promptness of the Sharn Watch. Had your legs been longer, you may have actually gotten here in time to prevent a crime, rather than truss up charges to the people left in its wake. I am Silian d'Thuranni, and I would be happy to show you my identification papers if you would lower your crossbow, sir. We were accosted by a Wind-Up Soldier- not this warforged, but another. We were trying to see what had happened to this... fellow," Silian nods towards the corpse, "When the assumed murderer sprang from the ledge and attacked us as well."
"And after viciously wounding me, the assailant was knocked off the bridge by my bodyguard." Akasha adds. "I am Akasha d'Deneith, by the way."
Offering a shoulder for Akasha to lean on, Jonah also offers his ID papers.

Unsure of what is going on, Tava helps support Akasha and keeps a wary eye one the guards.
The strangeness of her surroundings and the many new words making her reactions vastly slower than they had been in the dark below.
