That fight went pretty well I thought. Not so much expended in the way of resources, and a bit of loot, xp and reputation in exchange.

To note the campaign is on the Medium Experience track as per normal for Kingmaker.
As well ye might not end up doing all the books in the conventional order since I'll be modifying them anyway. Depending how ye go about things ye might be 'starting' Book One proper at level 8 or something instead of level 2. There are some end of Book Bosses that have good enough backgrounds you can easily justify bringing their stats up.

Yeah, magic types do come into their own later on.
Another level, and durations of things like Ill Omen go up for me. So I can start a fight by wrecking someone's save, and then have enough time to hit them with misfortune. And then that enemy will be lucky to hit or save again!

The advantage of Thornkeep and the Emerald Spire is you've got a little services and goods close at hand. Bit of an odd combination, the ghouls really were just a bit of a throw away line adventure hook but it got the ball rolling.
The Accursed Halls are right beneath Thornkeep's center and the Emerald Spire is three miles away.

Reckon we should take the offer of spells too. We are bound to need one eventually. What do people want to do, straight to the Spire or the Halls? I'm good either way, there is no reason if we find it hard going in the Spire that we can't do the Halls for some easier loot before going back again. Choices, it's nice.

Cards on the table I'm running another Kingmaker game and I ended up having to party quartermaster for the PCs, I'm not doing it in two games but I'll try to add in sell values in future if I remember.

Just a note, I've found Google Drawings work much better than Docs for maps (it has some additional functionality around images).
Also, you can click an image, right click it, then select 'order' and 'bring to front' to get the people icons to the front. Control-Click selects multiple, then right click and 'bring to front' can do the entire cast at once. I've done this for the icons for everyone at this point.

If Barek five foot steps further into the room, more of us can get an angle on the enemies. I don't think Amadeen can actually target any from behind Barek. I'll set up for just north of Barek in case I'm incorrect here.

Ah missed this. I'd say go for the gobbo, construct has misfortune on it now. Bar the kind of freak numbers that got Barek, it shouldn't hit too often now.

Does it have everything, starting with that first road goblin? Also, didn't someone take ghoul reward in serivces? Does total gold still reflect the full mission reward?

Anything that was sold off was removed and the cost added to the gold total. Apart from sold stuff it should have everything.
Yeah, some of us took the reward in service. I did not include ghoul mission reward in the party gold total.
