4) One temporary Hero Point grants a character a chance to supplement their d20 roll by 1d6 and add the result (whatever it was - no re-roll) to the d20 result,

Progression system:
Level 1-10 1d6,
Level 11-20 2d6,
Level 21-?? 3d6. and

5) No more than one Hero Point may be expended per round.

Good to know, the Dragon Between, and thank you for the clarification upon the Silversheen; Sound like it could very well be the very first of its' kind of special material in Eberron. :)

Updated treasure with loot (so far).

For now I will keep mine in the Kundarak bank, but will probably spend some before we move on, if we have time.

There will be time to spend the LOOT before the next set of adventures begins. :-0

An I/C post on how she met Pierce would be cool to be sure. RP is always welcome! BUT SPOIL is as Idle Night or some such so its does not interact directly with the current scene.

Sure thing then, I can put in a spoilered I/C post. Admittedly, Xetovia had already bought up her own meeting with Pierce but it was kind of glossed over together with how she was trying to reassure Dev, Lady d'Vown, and Tool-Box that undead didn't seem all that common in Sharn (much to her surprise!)

In my own unofficial head-canon, the only types of undead she previously encountered in Sharn were skeletons and zombies (possibly botched summonings or necromancy class creations that didn't quite turn out right at Morgrave University), maybe a ghoul attack or local haunt when working in tandem with the local Silver Flame church in Sharn? Definitely no real vampires though (just one fake one). ;)

I'm going to invest my new found wealth into my future adventuring endeavors... 5200g on a +1 mithril breastplate, and then I'm debating either 3,040g for an adamantine earthbreaker or 2,340g for a +1 earthbreaker (and a couple potions/scrolls).

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I suggest you get the Adamantine for now. It's easily enchant-able later. With the ability to bypass most hardness (and some DR) it will come in much more handy than a simple +1 to hit and damage at our current level I would think.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

That was my thought as well... the reasons I haven't committed yet are 1) magic overcomes DR way more often than adamantine, and 2) if I went with the cheaper +1 I could also afford a couple bull's strength potions...

I probably will end up taking adamantine (since I can get that enchanted later but you can't get a magic one turned adamantine), but I have time still so I'm going to keep hemming and hawing.

In a campaign with House Canith, we might be seeing a lot of constructs and golems...for my 2 cp, I'd go adamantine.

Carduus is so shocked by the sum that he has no idea what to do with it, and so will put it into a bank for the time being.

As fun as that crossover was it will be nice to get back to two smaller tables.

I will start both groups off with some downtime after that wild foray into the undercity.

This will give all of you time to rest and time to pursue some of the things you wish to seek out from a chacater development standpoint. Not too much time just a few days of real time. Then we'll start both new sets of adventures for both tables.

That first adventure alone has made all of you quite wealthy and if you wish to spend some, go right ahead.

Ama, you will acquire the item you seek via barter so go ahead and add that to your sheet.

Any other questions?

I would like to buy: A special Warforged Component.

Its from the original game and the only real embedded item I'm interested in for Gauntlet. Docents are another thing altogether IMHO.

I had a PC in a table top campaign with this item, approved.

I had less time tonight than I anticipated that I would. Updates to both Table I and Table II tomorrow night.

Just wanted to make sure, 400 gp for everyone including the Bodyguards? ;)

Will decide on what stuff to get at some later point. :)

GM, Viorr is looking to replace his horse. I get that while in Sharn, he might not see a lot of use, but a Valenar would just feel better knowing his horse is there...

I've looked around for a price for a magebred light warhorse. I saw a non-trained heavy magebred horse for 400gp, which is twice the value of a non-trained heavy horse. A combat trained light horse is 110gp. Does 500gp sound reasonable? Then Viorr will pay for high-end stabling.

Will finish Table I update when I can, RL drama with the wife pulled me away and kept me away. ..

Why do I keep thinking Beylinda is a half-elf???

Good to hear on the 400 confirmation. :)

If we were to sell back any stuff, should we go with the usual 50% back?

Will be trading in the Armored Coat (50) and Longsword (15) for a MW Armored Coat (200) and Sawtooth Sabre (35), for starters. ;)

No worries, the RL stuff always must come first in Life's to-do list. :)

Heh, while I can't really speak for the Player behind Beylinda, her character does strike me as being the type of person who plays things close to the vest, so to speak- as well as being socially adept (and bling-wise) befitting her station as a Dragonmarked. :)

Faved, not merely because of having RL stuff wearing folks down to the bone, but because it's always a good reminder that this messageboard (in the general sense) would always be a place for folks to relax and get their game on, regardless of any RL issues and stuff. :)

I PM'ed the other two members of Table II, hopefully they'll post in Gameplay soon.

I think I might need to re-recruit again for Table II. Tool Box has not posted in over 3 weeks and did not respond to a PM from 5 days ago. Will add that to my list of games that need one PC...

Not sure if it'd be of any help, but maybe you could try his primary alias and see if he'd respond that way?

I did: -(

It happens, players lose interest. He has been posting in other games so that's why I moved on. 5 now 6 days to not respond to a PM is a long time.

Bummer about Tool-Box, but hey, maybe he'll take orders at the Shop while I'm out and about! His talents could even bring in some new clientele. Could be good for business!

Xetovia, Dev, did I grant you each bonus feats? I was supposed to and may have forgotten. ... ;-(

I believe you did, actually. Dev is built with one more feat than normal at first level. Thanks though! :D

@Storyteller Shadow: True that- at least there's been interest over in the new recruitment thread for this. :)

@Dev Blake and the Dragon Between: Sounds like a good silver lining to me; heh, could even be expanded to a possible Leadership feat cohort down the line at 7+ levels. ;)

As Dev mentioned, if it's in reference to the bonus feat at Character creation, that's been covered for Xetovia as well (Pretty much spent all the beginning three feats for things from the Possessed Hand feats lineup). :)

Now, if it's meant to be another additional feat (possibly from successfully guarding the Lady without incurring any combat, as an example) on top of all that, you won't get any vigorous complaints from my end; theoretically, NPC-Tool-Box could also benefit from this too. ;)

PS. For the sake of discussion digression, would there any particular feat for the characters that you'd like to see taken, the Dragon Between? ;p

No, just wanted to make sure I did not miss either of those benefits for you two :-)

Cool and thank you for the timely response. It sounds like Dev and Xetovia would have another bonus feat then? :)

Nope, you've got the bonus feats!

No worries- that we do. ;) It may seem a bit confusing with Xetovia's character sheet since I had forgotten to put in a Feats header for my profile like I did for the Traits but that's been rectified since (will get it more organized bit by bit; as an FYI, it's always being tweaked here and there, whether it's rules elements or background stuff). Thank you for the clarification though. :)

Update on Table I tonight, the boards were crapping out last night and I need to get packed and got o a meeting now so don;t have time to update.

As an FYI I know that Taryn is still tied up with RL concerns, so he can continue to be botted or left guarding our rear or whatever until further notice.

Thanks Carduus. Truthfully, I'm overwhelmingly busy still and sadly I'm going to have to take some time away from the boards. You can bot me or write me out, or kill me off spectacularly. Thanks for the opportunity to play, I really enjoyed what I got to play of this game, and the other characters. Enjoy the rest of the game and I'll check in to see if there's a spot for me if/when I get back to the boards.

Truly sorry to hear that Taryn.

I'll write you out for now, when you have time to come back let me know and I'll write you back in, the group was originally 7 anyhow.
