It's not about the light. It's about the zombies. I'm weaving my magic into hers and hoping to shock several of the zombies, not damage the barrier.

Thaaaat...isn't what I meant. Electric means your magic will arc through anything that conducts. Flesh, metal, and water, as listed. You're trying to shock those things via the barrier - that's what that comment is about. If it conducts, it works. If not, either it doesn't or it's going to take a little more. That, or you can just poke a zombie, they're not exactly doing much.
Debilitating halves your damage, so that's 2.5 points of damage - 3 points of damage, since it rounds up.

Ok just confirming I understand correctly

Shy cuddles ys and Reno went out of the save pits all together. Ys and shy have created a electrical light wall to keep the zombies from following them

Sora and Himnon have pushed through towards Drahzu while Nathan remains on the wall/ceiling in the main room

Did I misinterpret anything?

I only ask because there is a lot going on and this will be dangerous so I don't want to mess up

If anyone is willing to aid on that would be great, giving me another hold, but not necessary, as everyone still in the room should be able to get out now. Spending my 2nd (of currently 2) hold to "Force your way past an obstacle in your path." and getting out of here myself.

Alright

The three that flee outside, can almost feel the zombies pursuing but thy sizzle and crackle on the light wall, being slowed and damaged, some of them fall
does the wall go away?

-----------

Himnon is quickly able to determine that these zombies are former slaves, none of them seem to have much interesting on them, but one would appear to be an elvish zombie, judging by his rent armor it is a good guess that the sword Cuddles was wielding belongs to him as well.

-------------

Our other heroes move into the new room and find it to be a large room, with 25 foot high ceilings, with a throne at one end. On it sits Drahzu, Hesits in his undead glory grinning, and he points to a pentagram on the floor, drawn in glowing blood

Good. The last sacrifices I need are here! once your blood is spilled it will be complete!

Standing to the front and side of the throne is another orc. The Tunnel Keeper. He is filthy and ugly. He looks at you all. Ah here to give me some more feathers! Excellent. Don't worry I will just as rough as all those nights we spent together. He is armed in gleaming chainmail, with a longsword and shield.

What do you all do?

No map. The walls have sconces that's all. The circle is 15 ft across the throne is 10 feet from the wall. 30 feet away with the circle between you and them. And of course zombies behind

Sora takes up into the air, ready to dodge at a moment's notice. "Yeah, sorry, not really feeling that arrangement anymore. Those things weren't for resale. I'm not letting you get away with that!" Sora's eyes take in the room, looking for the things she needs to be wary of.

Can't I have a good feeling for once? As usual - Is there a trap or ambush here, and if so, where? What can I see that no one else can?

Unnamed

Nathan:

Everything is actually pretty much straightforward, as it appears. But since you succeeded, the pentagram is probably not as dangerous as it looks, I mean don't bleed on it, but if you don't do that its probably fine

Himnon:

You aren't totally sure, but it is definitely something that will drain life and power, and transfer it to Drahzu.

Weird that you know that...

Sora:

Other than them waiting for you there is no ambush...so that is nice. You actually feel kind of good about that. You can see that the Tunnel Keep is sweating profusely. I mean more than he usually does.

Man, isn't this interesting? The Tunnel-Keep is scared! Either we kill him, or Drazhu does! Oh, I'm not wasting this. A grin flickers on her face, and she turns her head to look at the Tunnel-Keep. "Tell you what! You just stop fighting, and I won't butcher you for what you did. You know Drazhu's probably gonna kill ya anyway, dont'cha? Just stay out of this and you have a chance to get out alive. Sounds nice, doesn't it?"

Never said how these winds are conjured, did it? I had another idea but...I thought I'd take after my sister in some ways. Or perhaps, show a way she takes after me. Whatever the deal is, it runs in the family!

Shrugging, Nathan sprints across the wall, staying above people's heads, and using the length of his spear to judge his height from the ground. Staying [Reach] +3 feet off the ground.

In his mind's eye, he practices the pole-vault he'll need to take to clear the distance from the wall to the throne. He hopes any attacks aimed in his direction come while he's on the wall, where he has the space and leverage to mitigate the attacks. He has 1 armor while wall-walking.

Mirror's Edge: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 4) + 2 = 12

Let me know if there are any obstacles between Nathan and the back of the room, or if any attacks come his way. If he still has hold when he reaches the back of the room, he'll use it to vault on top of the throne. He can't leap like that and use Death from Above (yet) So once he's there it'll just be a Hack and Slash from Close or Reach, depending on the height of the throne.

If I'm imagining the scene correctly we have two orcs ahead of us and a group of zombies behind, right? If that's the case...

Seeing the undead horde shambling toward them as the rest of his friends engage Drazhu, he knows what he must do. Kneeling, the half-elf scoops up some dirt and smears it on his forehead before lowering his head to his knees in a short prayer.

Light protect me and help me to defend Sora from the iniquity of undeath that besets her. Grant me the authority to hold these foul constructs at bay.

Paladin move: Quest

When you dedicate yourself to a mission through prayer and ritual cleansing, state what you set out to do:

Defend Sora from the iniquities that beset them

Then choose up to two boons:

An unwavering sense of direction to X .
Invulnerability to zombie claws and teeth.
A mark of divine authority.
Senses that pierce lies
A voice that transcends language
A freedom from hunger, thirst, and sleep

The GM will then tell you what vow or vows is required of you to maintain your blessing:

Honor (forbidden: cowardly tactics and tricks)
Temperance (forbidden: gluttony in food, drink, and pleasure of the flesh)
Piety (required: observance of daily holy services)
Valor (forbidden: suffering an evil creature to live)
Truth (forbidden: lies)
Hospitality (required: comfort to those in need, no matter who they are)

If his desperate prayer is heard, Reno will rise to his feet and stride boldly at the zombie hoard encroaching on their battle. The dirt smear on his forehead now blazes with a brilliant white, and he doesn't even seem to feel it when their claws rake at his flesh. The others will have to deal with Drazhu and his minion while I hold these zombies off... he thinks to himself as he stares down the horde.

Nathan. The ceiling is 25 feet high. If you were on the ceiling there are no obstacles, though how you get that high is an obstacle. along the walls there are 2 sconces that might cause a problem. the throne has Drazu seated on it, so his head is about 7 feet up. But the wall behind the throne is clear of obstacles, though from behind he is out of site...ie the back of the throne is higher than his head

Sora, that is fine, though you have now defined how it works for you. so groovy

Reno. That sounds like honor and valor...but considering that shouldn't be a problem

Unnamed

Reno says a prayer and wanders into the Zombies where he is bitten and scratched over and over, but his faith keeps him safe...literally. Its so cheesy that the zombies try to chew on him even more, but to no avail.

Nathan leaps his way up to the wall and races along it towards the foes, stepping nimbly over the wall sconces. if I read right you are planning to run along the walls to get behind the throne. If I am misreading and you want to be on the ceiling, then I will need a description of how you get up there. To my thinking if it is something other than running up the wall, which will mean you are still far away, I will probably need a roll of some sort.

Sora, gives the Tunnel Keep a moment of pause. Yea, you might let me live, but your friends wont! you got him to stand down, but your leverage isnt really that strong, unless you can convince him you speak for everyone, then she send a hard gust of wind which slices off a portion of Drahzu's cheek., though the gust also manages to smash a sconce on the wall sending it careening off the back wall and in a moment that only makes sense in comic books and PbP games it comes flying right back at Sora take a hit for 1d4 damage, or use your chain to knock it away, but lose your grip on the chain as it gets tangled in the sconce

Meanwhile Himnon manages to send a mental blast at Drahzu, knocking his head to the side, and for the moment causing him to lose his focus on you, and forget you are there and effect his magic attack

Drahzu rises and steps down off his throne and moves into the pentagram. He points at Sora You shouldn't talk to your betters like that. Perhaps a reminder is in order. He reaches out his hand and an icy, shadowy claw suddenly forms around your throat and squeezes, it burns and freezes at the same time take d6, ignores armor, if you roll a 5+ subtract 1

What do you do?

Sconce is the soft miss. The attack is a "golden opportunity" coming from your commanding his minion, you took that time to do it, so I let him respond. I think its fair. [/ooc]

All good, seemed like a long distance to travel to maybe fall and get hurt. The wall is where he was headed.

Nathan takes some time clamoring around the sconces. He clings to every crack in the masonry, sometimes with a single toe or finger, but somehow he's able to keep himself moving across the wall. Nathan also keeps his distance from the muscle so he doesn't feel threatened. As far as Nathan's concerned, that one is Sora's to deal with.
Using 1 hold each to "Leap around, over, or through an obstacle or enemy in your path" and get past the sconces.

Once he is in position at the back of the room, and if he is not being attacked, he will use his spear to pole-vault onto the throne.
Using 1 hold to "Leap around, over, or through an obstacle or enemy in your path" and get on top of the throne.
