Actually I like the dimension door and energy resistance. Can this be done to Sandor. Maybe keep one of you safe and cast the spell outside and I run through it on the other side?
On another note can we bluff it? Illusion or something?

A common misconception: dimension door doesn't create an acutal dimensional "door." It's short-range teleport, and functions exactly as teleport (except for range). Only the one casting it, and willing folks touching him (limitations based on caster level exist), make the trip.
I was thinking more like Morkeleb gets swallowed, and dimension doors out. Or, someone else gets swallowed, and if they can't get out, Morkeleb DD's in, then they both DD out. (hence my "I'll die if this fails" comment...)
On another note can we bluff it? Illusion or something?
interesting thought. The thing is sentient, so it may have a reasonable Will save. And M isn't much on illusions.

So Bucho (the man not the dog) and Phil, I have a couple weeks to learn chunji, dan-gun, whatever is third, (toi-guy?)
The IKS is hosting a TKD school that were going to start competing with. My counterpart there is learning some of our forms. I thought I'd return the favor.

Welcome to the Chungakwan! (whatever that means, Mr. Anctil always used to say it).
The third form is Do-San.
As you probably know, TKD has two main branches, often referred to as ITF and WTF, differentiated by the two main groups of forms/patterns they use, and other boring stuff.
The most trad. style of the ITF 'branch' is referred to as 'Chang Hun style' after the founder's pen name. I found a cool site on Chang Hun TKD requirements, which will probably give you the most traditional version of the forms:
here
It has way more information than we ever learned in class.
If you click on a form, it will give a text description of each step, with links to a description of the technique/stance/strike/block.
We called 'half-facing' a 'side stance'.
'Full-facing'='Front Stance'. Kenpo's half-moon is basically a hybrid of the two.
I've never heard the word 'teul' to describe 'form'; we used 'hyung' or 'poomse'. We also never formally learned four-directional blocking exercises as a testing requirement, at least not by that name.
It's likely your TKD guests will do the forms slightly different than presented on that website. It's probably good custom to follow their approach, at least in front of them.

I really loved TKD back when I was training. It pretty much defined huge portions of my life from age 13 to 18. However, Muay Thai and BBJ fit me much better when I was training that in my 20's.
I feel horrible that I havnt practiced any of my old forms in well over a decade. I can still do Chun Gi, ( I dont think its possible for me to ever forget it, I did it so many times teaching so many other people to do it). Yet, I might need a tiny bit of a refresher for Dan Gun and Do San.

Hey'all: I just started a crappy seasonal job working mad unpredictable hours. Please Autopirate (that always sounds dirty to me) if you're waiting; I'll chime in when I can, thanks.

Dungeon Master S |

FYI Next week I'm running a Tier 1-5 PFS game on Saturday the 29th. Anyone who wants in (I think it'll be a short early afternoon session) is welcomed to it if you're in the area.

Dungeon Master S |

Hey guys, just touching base with my holiday schedule as it'll affect posting:
Wednesday: Not working, and likely spending the day getting caught up on nerdly pursuits such as PFS, Crimson Throne, FF VII, etc.
Thursday: Family time, not near a computer, but I can answer PF texts.
Friday: Friend time. Posting will be intermittent. Looking to hang out with anyone home.
Saturday: IKS and PFS in person. Anyone in this game is welcomed to join. The game is of the appropriate level for Sumac, Fel, and Riegel. Mike, Iron Jim, Tipa, Shannon, are already in.
Sunday: Back to normal posting.

We have a good chance of Marcus joining in this one (probable sorcerer).
Not sure whether I'll use Riegel, or Bakkus. Or a brand new one!!!

Dungeon Master S |

If you use Bakkus, remember to keep him separate from the Alpha team.

Sandor Stouthammer |

Heck if DMS would be willing, I have a Roll 20 paid account. I could create a CotCT campaign and give him GM privs to let him set up an encounter map or two, and we can nerd out online together sometime if everyone will be willing. All it requires is everyone to have at least a microphone on their computer, it does video too but isn't necessary. Besides, we all know Odric would be playin naked, and with as much Mtn Dew as he drinks there would be to many trips to the bathroom with is camera on.

Morkeleb the Mighty |

No no no. I would not be nekkid.
He'd at least be wearing the ceremonial bra on his head
but that is a good idea, Sandor--and you can get a USB headset/microphone for a very reasonalbe price (Teamspeak rules for Diablo 3)

Sandor Stouthammer |

I'm not sure about Diablo III, cuz all I have ever done is the beta, but it has worked for every other mmo that I've done.
Ohhh I just remebered that it also requires either Chrom or Firefox as your browser

Going from memory, not checking thread: the Truthspeaker vouches for us having completed the Ritual of REbirth, so we are no longer considered (what was the word? Tzarek?) outsiders to the clan we need info from. Then, that clan's elders will at least be willing to share the info we need to defeat the Queen.
something like that.

Ill do a date calculation soon so we can track Sandor and Odric's re-birthdays. You stingy bastiches better get us presents.
Are you kidding?!?! Morkeleb turned you into the groceries of the worm's grocery shout. That's not enough for you???

Help... what are we waiting for?
The party just had a really rough 4 day march across some incredibly inhospitable terrain w/ a burning sun beating down on the party. It was such a punishing heat that we might have had to bury a few of our comrades in the hot sands. Luckily we had a magic wand to help us to endure the elements.

Yep. sorry it's been a CRAZY busy time the last week. In addition to the holidays I've got friends from all over the country home for a short while (I know everyone here knows Steve T., but Sunish, Sully, Steph, Trex, and Erica are all home.)

Odric the Stout |

The short answer is... you spend an incredible amount of GP and earn next to nothing. Im doing it for the fun of having a "yes older inn" of my own, but it is a money pit. Look how much I have poured into it, and if I were to earn gold rather than capital it would come out to 5 gold per day, minus the upkeep etc.
We can talk on the phone if you want too.
After the inn is done I was thinking a fortified estate might be in order.

Sandor Stouthammer |

Well I'm glad that your having lots of friends and family!! I hope that it was all good times.
Thanks for the update, real life comes first always.

Ahh, well I don't know how it works out, but since the owner the forge I was working at died from the blood fever, I bought it. Paid some good gold.. and payed for a manager. But if we don't get back soon, even they will walk away from the business.
