Braggom strains against the door and then feels a sudden surge of strength as Marcellino prays for strength and the door surges open. Inside there can be little doubt what purpose this chamber once served. The dank room stores an ancient rack, a fanciful brazen bull, an iron maiden, a cauldron, iron chairs with sharp edges and cruel protuberances, and a wooden table upon which sit various implements of torture. A bronze plaque affixed to the western wall depicts a crowing rooster above crossed spears. Underneath the spear, a short phrase is inscribed.
Confession cleanses the soul-- Pain clarifies the mind
Almost as soon as you enter a tiny black bird perched on the plague suddenly becomes visible as it utters "You look weary. Rest in one of the chairs provided here.” His words seem oddly honeyed.
Anyone can make a knowledge nature check on the creature, Anyone can make a spellcraft check, and Braggom needs to make a will save
The tiny black thing is the bird. I figured I'd make him the size he actually is, so you'll have to zoom in to see him most likely

Braggom |

will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
"Hello, birdie!"
Braggom will move toward it and attempt to grab it.
grapple check (that provokes an attack of opportunity): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

David_Bross |
The bird flies to the ceiling as Braggom approaches it.
As the bird flies up it continues shrieking in a shrill voice, “Greetings, fine citizens of our glorious empire! So good to have visitors, though I fear I have no refreshments to offer. I assume you are here for the treasure. Well, I’d be happy to assist, provided that you give me what I require! It has been so long since I was able to ply my trade. I require only that each of you shed your life’s blood in this room—simply take a seat in one of my lovely chairs.”
Everyone can make sense motive checks if they'd like

Have at thee foul bird who would cloud our minds for your own enjoyment. says the warpriest as he draws his bastard sword and levels it at the bird.

David_Bross |
The bird promptly turns vanishes again upon being threatened. Unless one of you wanted to actually attack it that round, in which case we'd roll initiative to see who acts first.
You can post your actions for the next round.
Anyone with spellcraft can roll it.

Marcellino Wintrish: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Ronaef Tuefellaei: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

David_Bross |
The bird was well out of reach (on the ceiling) when you last saw it and it became invisible. If you have a reach weapon you could swing at it, but the greatsword wouldn't have worked.
Also you're welcome to post your actions for the next round, after the first round it turned invisible.

Marcellino will utter an inspiring word on the glories of Ragathiel, to Cassandra.

Everyone scours the room for any sign of the creature, menacing with their weapons.

As if the readying of weapons conjured it the creature becomes visible, this time red and mischievous looking. Knowledge Planes to ID. His tail darts into Ronaef's shoulder, striking the unsuspecting wizard, as he feels a poisonous sting.

Thanks my good man,I even forgot I'm a Diviner.. too many games on atm
Ronaef delays his action til the creature appears then blasts him.
Cast Defensively: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 it probably pops up next to me so i'll have to cast defensiveley
Ronaef casts Ray of frost at the nasty little creature
Ray of Frost Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 91d3 ⇒ 2

Nátulcien Ar-Feiniel |

He's invisible until he attacks, Ronaef, I don't think you can target him with a spell -- and I don't think that spell can target him either if he's what I figure he is, out-of-character. (Nat can't do Knowledge[planes] though.)
Shouldn't our icons be in the room? I moved Nat+tiger in.

Marcellino Wintrish |

I moved into the room since I would have needed to be in there to lower my sword at it and issue the inspiring word.
Once the little creature manifests itself the warpriest will move up and attempt to hit it with his bastard sword. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

David_Bross |
Braggoms shot misses the creature as it becomes visible in Ronaef's square. Ronaef's ray fails to go off as he cringes from the sting of the creature. Marcellino swings wildly. Cassandra's strikes true but the creature seems to be completely unaffected.
There was a surprise round for the creature as the party was unaware of its presence. I assume Braggom also took a move action up to the creature on his turn, dropping the bow and pulling his weapon.
The creature nimbly flies into Marcellino's square and brings his stinger to bear on the man, but he only feels the faint sting, and manages to shake off any other ill effects. Unfortunately the poison continues to course through Ronaef's veins as he takes feel ill once again.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21

Braggom responds to the creatures threat with the his sword, although he finds its far less effective than he would have thought

It's at Marcellino's square? I think I've got room for a charge. Tally-ho!
Nat directs her tiger to charge as she swings her lance up and aims at the little creature.
lance, charge: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 + 2 = 24
confirmation: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 + 2 = 17 That probably confirms. Lance crit on a charge does 5x (2x for charge, 3x for crit) damage. Ignore 3d6+3 if it doesn't confirm.
damage: 5d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 2, 5) + 5 = 29

David_Bross |
The tiny creature falls out of the air, the grinning smile knocked off its face by the lance.
Fort Save, Ronaef: 1d20 ⇒ 7 I assume you guys will give him resistance and guidance, but still not enough.
dex damage: 1d2 ⇒ 1
fort save Ronaef: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Ronaef finally shirks off the effect of the poison, and not a moment too late, as he feels much clumsier than he was just a minute ago.
