"Guess I was correct about there being undead about, just not the rip your face off kind for once.. I still think we need to be cautious"
Ronaef notices something about the cell.
"Hey can we get into this cell.. there's something unusual about the back wall.. maybe another secret door"

Braggom sees a long narrow corridor that terminates in a room. The room at the end of this narrow corridor is a strange metallic contraption of gears and chains. A large lever extends out at a forty-five-degree angle from the front of it.

As Braggom puts his hand on the lever the bolt of lightning forms into a ball and shoots directly into Braggom's chest, arcing about his armor and coming out the other side.

The Creature Moved up, was narrowly missed by Cassandra's arrow as the light flickered from Ronaef and Braggom was just in the way of Ronaef's own ray of frost.
Concealment from Dim Light: 1d100 ⇒ 9
Nátulcien tells Demii to approach the creature and he does so against his better judgement against something that makes his hair stand so far on end.
handle animal: 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 4 = 17
The creature responds by continuing its assault against Braggom.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 3 = 26
damage: 1d4 + 1d3 ⇒ (2) + (2) = 4 The d3 is electricity
Again it strikes Braggom squarely in the chest, positioning itself clearly between Braggom and the lever he went to pull as it shocks him back.

I can't figure out where it is on the map. I didn't post an action because I can't see it so I don't know where to go. I guess I'll just roll some attacks and do my best. Note: since handle animal is a DC10, and Nat has a +9 when she handles Demii (as a free action) I won't bother rolling unless there's a penalty somehow, since she'll succeed even on a 1. Demii also has the attack any target trick so she doesn't have to push him to attack the thing.

Please move yourselves on the map in combat. The creature is also on the map for a physical description. It literally looks like a ball of arcing electricity.
Nátulcien strikes it with her club and it scorches slightly. Demii then bites into the creature, narrowly missing in the flickering light.
concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 80
concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 13
Braggom's mighty strike against the creature angering him barely misses as the dim light coneals it.
concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 2
Marcellino moves up reaching it just before the end of the round. You were quite far back, and couldn't charge because someone was in the way. Also I think you'd be striking against the target with cover from the central machinery
Cassandra's arrow strikes squarely into the creature, and burns to ashes.
concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 83
Ronaef's ray strikes wide again.
The creature reals as the attacks hit it and continues trying to push the group back, starting with the raging barbarian before it.

Demii bites and claws at the lightning, successfully striking it twice. Both time he winces as electricity courses through his body.
Electricity Damage: 2d3 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4
Marcellino brings his sword down on the creature from the opposite side of the machine and dispatches the previously greatly diminished spark. He feels a slight shock pulse through is blade as he does so.

Electricity Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
With the combat over the Braggom is able to once again reach out to the lever, after he catches his breath and loses his fury. Marcellino would have killed the creature before you acted in initiative, if you'd like to save the round of rage.

"Well Done All, is there any help available for valiant Braggom?"

Braggom slumps to the ground, his face showing the effort required. Less than half a minute later he stands up. "Braggom ready," and pulls the lever.

Nat casts two spells on Baggrom, returning him to something approaching full health.
Only 2 1st-level spells remaining today. We may need to retreat once we've got a bit of treasure for buying consumables.

"Well, here we are again. It was, surprising, to say the least. Shall we venture further?"
Cassandra makes a stealthy approach for the corner, and peeks around it, listening carefully for any sounds too.

Wow, nice. Though it'll turn abysmal when it has to matter, i'm sure. ^^
| David_Bross |
Ronaef sneaks up to the corner and sees a door infront of him.
Ronaef does have the light spell on him right now, so stealth may work a little wonky if something does see the obvious light source, but not you. You could have also left what you cast light on back with the party
For Casandra:
A spellcaster could always cast light on you. You'd be the sneakiest little thing lighting everything around you up! More serriously things to give you darkvision are *very* expensive. More problematic is concealment precludes sneak attack. There is feat to get around this, but many rogues choose not to be human because of how mechanically crippling poorer vision is to them

There is a trait that gives low-light called Dragon Blooded, if you wished tog et extra traits instead of a feat at some stage and if it was allowed, say a magical procedure or something.
Ronaef will have left the light behind.
He beckons the rest of the group to join him and then opens the door, so that he will be able to see in the darkness.
