Hmmm.. a torture chamber...
Ronaef then checks out the daggers
Appraise: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Lady Cassandra could you also examine the door out of here to see if the key unlocks it or if it's trapped
David_Bross
Ronaef also notes a series of strange notches carved into the flat of each of the mithral daggers.
The bronze key turns in the lock of the solid iron door, and it opens. As you enter you note numerous jail cells line these long-abandoned corridors. Each of their solid iron doors hangs ajar, and includes both a peephole at eye level, covered with a piece of sliding metal, and a smaller slot for food and water at floor level.
Nátulcien Ar-Feiniel: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Demii : 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Cassandra Hanata: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Braggom: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Marcellino Wintrish: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Ronaef Tuefellaei: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Advance your PCs to where you want to go and then i'll give you more information.
Braggom
By advance I meant move your PC on the map.
Braggom looks into the first cell he sees. When he looks in the peephole it appears to be completely empty, with a stone bench, perhaps large enough to lie down upon being the only furnishing inside.
Braggom will move into the cell to examine what is inside.
perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20| David_Bross |
Braggom finds some small rooms with 5' recessed holes in the ground. The far walls of this chamber are natural, in sharp contrast to the worked stone found elsewhere.
You don't see anything in particular in the either of the two small rooms. Yay for mostly empty room exploration.
David_Bross
Ronaef also finds the rooms to empty of magic as well. Nátulcien Ar-Feiniel finds the larger cell to be identical to the previous one.
As you move down the corridor Ronaef notices that above him a curious semicircular stone ridge runs along the ceiling of the hallway. It goes into the wall at the far edge of the hallway. It is the black line on the map . Additionally he notices that the wall to the left next to him seems a little decayed, almost as if it is made of something other than stone.

Ronaef tells of his observances"Above is a curious semicircular stone ridge that runs along the ceiling of the hallway. It goes into the wall at the far edge of the hallway. Additionally he notices that the wall to the left seems a little decayed, almost as if it is made of something other than stone."
David_Bross
As you move down the hallway you note more cells. Unlike the earlier ones these are far from empty. The first contains a long decayed body.
David_Bross
The following two are more cell with decayed bodies. As you approach the third door in the hallway you see a man appear at the window and call out. “Oh, gods, kind faces! Aroden bless you, noble souls! I ain’t seen the jailers in ages, I think they forgot about us! We ain’t eaten in days and the water’s all but gone—my cousins’re both sick. I swear we’d give back the boar if we could, but we ate it, starvin’ as we was. We didn’t even know it was the baron’s lands, didn’t know we was poachin’! I beg you, we’re all gonna die in here! Kindness, noble souls, we’ve suffered awful! Good Baron Sarvo wills it!”
Nátulcien Ar-Feiniel: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Marcellino Wintrish: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Ronaef Tuefellaei: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Anyone with knowledge history can make a check.

Ronaef examines the cell Can we get him out of there?"
Even Ronaef isn't that haughty, he's hungry
"I have plenty of rations, this will keep you going until we find a way out for you" Ronaef gives him some wandermeal and water
David_Bross
As Ronaef approaches the man calms. Upon receiving the rations he thanks Ronaef, Thank you kind sir, blessings of Aroden be upon you, and quickly moves back out of the window of the cell, back inside of it.
David_Bross
You hear no reply from the cell, after the man left the barred window and went back with his food. Infact you hear nothing from the cell.
Incase I didn't describe these cells well enough earlier there is a tray slot to pass food in at the bottom and a foot by foot barred window towards the top for looking in or out.

"I'm not sure Braggom, it seems the others raise some good points, however he has survived, he is here though"
Ronaef goes up to the door
"How did you survive down here friend"
