Round 3 wrap up.
Tarvinda pulls herself together, wondering why the smell should affect her so, it was unlike her to pull away like that. With renewed focus she brings her sword down, thrusting towards the undead creature. The sword connects and the zombie explodes once more in a burst of diseased flesh and blood. Etna steps forward and drives her Wakizashi through the remaining zombie and it also explodes.

you are now out of combat.
You're not feeling quite right but you can't quite put your finger on whats wrong. After a moment your head clears and you feel fine.

Tarvinda Darvelle |

Tarvinda wipes the gore of an exploding undead from her hair, throwing it to the floor with a squidgy squelchy sound. "Is everyone alright? Let's search this place, what are these creatures protecting?" She picks up her torch and starts to look about.

Arapad and Xeros work together to discover a hidden recess in the southeast corner of the room. Inside you find a backpack that contains the following: some rotten rations, a map(detailing the area and pointing out the entrance to the crypt), a potion of cure moderate wounds, a pouch with 13 gold, and a small handbill(the type typically found posted in taverns).
Although faded the handbill clearly reads as a notice of employment, telling all those interested to meet at "The Ranger's Lament." The handbill does not mention a time, date, or who the employer might be.
Anyone who has it can make me a Knowledge Local check to try to identify where "The Ranger's Lament" is located.
"The Ranger's Lament" is a popular bar in Tamran, the capital of Nirmathas.

There is a door to the south leading from the room the zombies were in and you find that the door isn't locked. Opening in and entering the next room you find a shallow reflecting pool that divides a long chamber. The poop runs from one end of the room to the other. The water looks cloudy and stagnant. What must have once been marvelous murals covering both walls are now scorched and ruined, the original subject lost in distruction. As you continue into the room you all can't help but see your reflection in the pool. I will need will saves from everyone.
You see a horrid, rotting reflection stare back at you. Your skin hangs from your bones and is slightly green in color. You blink a few times and your reflection turns back to normal.
You see a horrid, rotting reflection stare back at you. Your skin hangs from your bones and is slightly green in color. Even more horrifying is that as you concentrate more on the reflection you see yourself turning to attack your fellow party members. This idea becomes to much for your mind to handle and you run fleeing from the crypt as fast as your legs carry you.
You enter this room and immediately feel the presence of negative energy. It does not sit well with you being a good cleric and you get the feeling something very unholy was here.

Xeros |

Will Save:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5, Nat 20 to nat 1 duh!
Xeros steps into the room and a unholy energy washes over him weakening his awareness of the area. He seems drawn to the pool as he looks inside he see's the horrors that hit holds and his devil's brand seems brighter red as his face pales and he runs out in shear horror of the event.

Tarvinda Darvelle |

"No neither do I now I feel the evil in this place. It is overpowering and if the boys felt it, that is no doubt what made them leave. If we have magics, then have ready anything to protect us against the evil within. If only I too could see in the dark, to be ready to fight because I could see or had some light surrounding me." says a very serious Tarvinda. "Do you feel it too Eta?" As if in response, Tarvinda readies herself, her longsword is up and ready to defend herself behind her shield.

Tarvinda Darvelle |

Tarvinda looks around the room for the source of the evil. "Do you think we should get the boys back?" asks Tarvinda concerned that the boys have not returned to face this evil. She continues, as she is ready for battle against any foe.

Tarvinda and Etna hear the screams of the men as they flee from the crypt but you also hear the flapping of wings. And it seems to be getting closer.
Xeros and Arpad you flee for a few more seconds just getting to the base of the stairs before your fear subsides. You feel rather strange and can't quite remember what had you so frightened.

Árpád Domonkos |

Arpad, having caught his breath, turned to Xeros. "Neither of the women are here. Now I just feel silly. Well, we'd better get back in there, eh? Wouldn't want them having all the fun, would we?"
As he finishes his rhetorical questions, he heads back into the crypt.

Xeros |

Holding his hand to his head the tiefling tries to remember what exactly happened, he reaches for his flask of brandy and noticing his hand shaking a little as he raises the drink to his mouth. After taking in drink, his hand steadies and he offers it to Arpad. "No we wouldn't." Xeros responds softly.

Árpád Domonkos |

Arpad takes a sip, handing it back to Xeros once done. "That's some strong stuff," he says, already making his way back into the dark crypt. Tarvinda having the light, he reaches into his backpack, getting one of his sunrods, and taps it against a nearby wall, providing a good amount of light as the walked through the corridors.
