I like the flashback idea but I think it would be better if we use spoilers for them.

There's a version of Augustino in my high level/mythic run of this too- the first one to interact with him was a female who was slightly flirtatious herself and I think my initial description was something like "with a chest and abs that should be chiseled from marble and set on your bedside table."

Tera's first instinct is to let out one of the curses she'd heard from Brother Faustwick as she realizes that her options are a bit limited. She has no bolts, thanks to the ever-frugal leader of Sandpoint's Abadarian clergy. She wasn't expected to keep the peace, and she was a mage. What need did she have for crossbow bolts? She'd only been allowed the crossbow because it was part of a priest's garb. It was meant to be ceremonial despite being fully functional.

The second I realized I didn't have enough for some bolts I came up with that reason for her not having any.
Now if only I could get a moment to study burning hands. Then Tera might actually be useful this fight.

I just realized that for this scene, I'm without my armor, and that combined with the enlarge person makes my AC 11 for the moment. It hasn't mattered yet, but I thought I should bring it up.

The song is not language-dependent so it won't automatically fail... The spell description doesn't mention anything at all about performances but I'd say it would be reasonable to rule them the same way as spells and command words (so if it fails it's save it would have a 20% chance of the performance failing).

How do we want to handle loot tracking? I'm pretty new to PbP so not sure what the standard procedure is. In other groups we've used a shared google spreadsheet. What do ya'll think?

we're not going to track xp, I'll just have you level where the AP suggests. (since they removed xp costs from everything I don't see any real reason to track it specifically)
as for loot, I could simplify that by just not giving you any? kidding.
its up to you guys how you want to track it. if you're going to use a shared google doc/spreadsheet post the link and I'll add it to the campaign tab. I will say, though, that those tend to work best (in my experience) when one person takes responsibility for making sure it gets updated...

My apologies for being rather distracted this past week. My mind has been elsewhere with minor things since Monday.
I apologize if it feels like we're dragging- I have the flu and I'm finding it very difficult to muster the brain power for a real post. Sorry.
Ugh, the flu is a real drive-killer. Rest up, take care, post when you can. We'll cope. :P
Having the flu is an awful feeling. I remember when I was a kid, I would play "sick" and stay out of school. Usually I would lock myself in my room and play on my computer. But these few times I was actually sick the thought of doing anything but sleeping was out of the question.
Well, Tera seems MIA... I looked at her player's other games and she hasn't posted in any of them for a few days. Hopefully she's alright and will be back to posting soon, but in the meantime I guess we'll sort of gloss over her interaction with Aldern so we can get moving again.
Her player's absent in a lot of ways.

Hey, sorry for dropping off the air like I did. I didn't mean to, it just kinda happened. This past week and weekend have been busy for me, and I"ve hit the point where I need to take a step back for a little while, clear my head, and recharge. I'll try not to be gone long, and I understand if you don't want to hold a spot open for me, but I do plan on coming back in a few weeks.

Well... that leaves us in an interesting position. It's pretty early in the campaign to try to gloss over someone disappearing for a few weeks (and I'm not going to GMPC someone for that long, especially this early) but I have enjoyed Tera so far. I'm going to put it to a vote.
Do you guys want to:
A) write her out for now (and play with 5) and plan to write her back in when she gets back (hopefully in just a couple weeks), or...
B) write her out more permanently and recruit a replacement as quickly as possible.
I too have enjoyed Tera. I would vote to keep her on, but I am also nervous about not having a dedicated divine caster. A possible solution here, if we want to keep Tera (if Adam is really, truly coming back) is to rebuild Roakkad as a shaman. It's a little late in the game to rebuild, and would require some hand waving, but it's only an idea. I'm also interested in GM's preference.
Barring that I guess I would vote to replace :(.
The problem with changing Roakkad's class is that then we'd have no arcane caster... I mean, technically, Zache is but there's a big difference between a bard and a wizard...
I'd really have to think about that.
