Victor fires another deadly shot as Eponine exchanges her blade for a ranged weapon, Belril pops up out of the brush, fires a shot that bounces off the stockade wall, and then drops prone again into the brush.

Atop the eastern wall a new figure appears, a half-elf male some of you may recognize as Tstuo Kaijitsu, who glares down at the field of battle. He calls out,"Cease this! Thistletop is too well defended for you rabble. Go back to Sandpoint and mind your selves."

Kern and Wren to end the round

Hello all, just lurking. Belril should remember he needs to load the sling staff and since he doesn't have the rapid reload feat, it is a move action to reload and a move action to get up, which means no attack last round. Keep that in mind if he's going to keep this tactic up.

A bugbear? Sophy's eyes widen as she realizes that if a bugbear joins the fray, it will be coming through the doors she's huddled right next to. Don't know if that was a colourful description of a miss or deflect arrows, but if the former Victor's arrow happens first init-wise.

Mid Morning Day 2 Total earned XP: 15,000

It is a colorful description for the Deflect Arrow feat. Victor and Sophy had ready actions based on Tsuto making an action.

Init: Sophy- move & ready brain drain, goblin archers - ducked down out of sight, Victor moved & readied action (says if Tsuto flees in OCC/ but descriptive indicates "wrong move", Eponine fires crossbow, Berlril fires sling, Tsuto attack action--Interrupted by Sophy brain drain and Victor ready attack (I judged he would use it here based on the descriptive text), Tsuto attack action completed and Initiative order changes to show Sophy and Victor acted in a new order.

Wren uses her wand to summon up a reserve of her depleting magic and blasts Tsuto with a painful missile of energy.

Round 12

A dark skinned, robed woman arrives on the wall next to Tsuto, pointing a wand at Wren and sending her own bolt of energy at the wizard. From within the stockade a loud awful singing begins,

"Goblins chew and goblins bite. Goblins cut and goblins fight. Stab the dog and cut the horse, Goblins eat and take by force!"

The chilling words bring back memories from the night of the raid on Sandpoint. Sophy, Eponine, and Wren can hear the sounds of timber dragging across the stockade door presumably releasing the barricading crossbar.

On the western tower the goblins return, joined by a third to replace the one already slain. They seem to be awaiting orders.

How do you run full-attack actions in this game? Do I nominate all my shots before rolling or can I see the result of my first shot before targeting the second? My shot on Tsuto has included the rapid shot penalty but with his HP low I wanted to see if the slingstone dropped him before comitting a second to him.

I would like to see as much of your action possible done in one post, just to help streamline the posting times since I find most days I can only post for a short while in the morning. We got out of class early today :). If you want to make all the rolls and make an OOC note about contingencies I am cool with that. That is one of the reasons I put the bars on the baddies, to help you make decision based on what your character might be seeing.

The mage points her wand at Victor, a bolt of blue hissing energy darts through the air plunging into him. Then she ducks down behind the wall out of sight.

From inside the stockade the eerie goblin song continues as the doors push open concealing Eponine behind one. The whip wielding chanter waves her hands and casts a spell at Kern. For a second he feels his mind get foggy, but he resists the magic and shakes off the effect.

Three tough looking goblins start to rush out of the stockade, but Belril takes advantage of the opportunity to lash out at the first one. The halfling knocks it hard on the head as it advances on Kern. It then swings its pole arm like horsechopper at Kern's feet trying to knock the warrior over. Kern lands a right cross square on the goblins jaw, knocking the creature out.

A second horsechopper wielding goblin rushes out and faces off against Belril, also trying to knock the halfling off his feet. Belril is quick and skips over the slow moving attack.

Another golbin with the wicked blade attached to a pole swarms over against Kern, also trying to take the big man and drop him prone. The weapon masters superior training prevents the creatures attempt.

Following the goblins out a huge bugbear, whom you all instantly figure must be the elf hating Bruthazmus, swings his heavy flail at Belril's head. The confident halfling continues to be more agile than his attackers and ducks the powerful swing.

From the western wall there is a commotion as a massive (for a goblin) crown wearing giant gecko rider pushes past the archers there rides down the wall and closes in on the combat from the backside.
