Dotting ...

Thinking Shoanti priest/shaman, type hater of the Technic League, wants to discover how the blue flame went out, if it's something the trobe can use against all the Technic League's techno-magic ... as a rough idea of the background. Need to go over the players guide again to see what is required, so might change at bit. Will be human, will try and infiltrate the league with like minded group of friends.

Will get stuff up on Tuesday, today is games night with RL players.

This build is not an optimised cleric, but she has a force of character which I hope will be useful. She will try and demoralise opponents and buff/heal her party members in combat, using bluff and diplomacy during social encounters. At later levels may take a level of rogue(rake) archetype but not decided ... thinking a sort of clerical/spy type character, with nomadic/exploration tendencies. Otherwise willing to mold to the party's need.

Dressed in furs and hide, holding a hide covered shield painted with stars and the moons in blues and yellows, a nasty looking wooden shaft with a irregular dull spiked metal ball is attached to her belt. A wooden carved butterfly hangs around her neck, it is painted in bright yellows, reds and blues. Her dark brown hair cascades freely down past her shoulders, partially hiding her long bronzed neck, as shiny steel blue eyes look out from under her fringe. Her lips and face show she is a beautiful woman, high lined cheeks and perfectly shaped. Her voice, when she first speaks is velvety and enticing, though behind it is a power coming from deep within the woman's soul. She introduces herself, My name is Solaria, a traveler with Desna.

Born the daughter of a minor chieftain of the Black Horses tribe, still wandering over the plains of Numeria. As all Kellid's they are told the tales of Rain of Stars when the tribal lands were desecrated by strange metals and objects from the sky. Which in turn brought the ones who have tried to shackle the land and restrict the natural freedoms of the Kellids, their enemy The Technic League.

Solaria, ever the loyal and adventurous daughter, went further than most in their beliefs and took to following the god of the night sky, dreams and the freedom of the butterfly. It was in a dream, that starlight touched her and she turned from the spirits of the wilds, to the goddess for guidance and insight. Her beauty and faith made her a natural spokeswoman for the tribe, setting up links between the tribe and various townsfolk. Even being able to worm her way into knowing more about the Technic League than she should do, able to spy to some of their lesser members, to pick up their plans. Using such knowledge the tribe is able to restrain and remove the terrors of the technologists of the League.

She has come to Torch to seek out Khonnir Baine, to arrange some trade and agreements between the tribe and the town's mayor. But whilst she sought him out, Torch was beset by strange happenings, including Khonnir's disappearance. Solaria sees this as an opportunity to ingratiate the tribe and herself with the mayor, by helping to find him. As such negotiations between them will be made easier.


It looks like you guys don't actually have a brawler, the Half-Orc is a Slayer?

If that is the case, do you mind if I apply with a Brawler or is that too many martial/melee focused people for the group?


I´m heavily interested, since this would be an opportunity for me to play it before i run it myself!

Already have some character concepts in mind, have to explore them a bit more to be clear how they develop and play out over the levels. Among them something arcane, something divine and 3 martial concepts.
I see you also allow psionics? Do you play psioncs equals magic or as different?


Ah yes, my mistake. Slayer is off the table. Brawler is a possible class choice.

Maybe half psionic is okay. It depends on the combination. Show me the class if you'd like to play one.

Takeks story:

Takek´s story is a short one so far. He grew up in Torch with his mother and after some innate arcane talent was witnessed Khonnir Bane took him under his wings. Takek never took too much to Bane though, since his talents were more spontaneous and he has some problems with sitting down and learning. Bane mused that the blood of his elven father together with the effects of radiation and other substances his mother was exposed too made up for a curious mix of magic in Takek. And indeed he seems to be able to influence machines with magic where others cannot and sparks with electricity from time to time.
Clockwork mechanisms and mechanical wonders are what Takek lives for.
The only thing he knows about his father is that apparently he came through on some crusade, or back, on the search for something that would help against demons and then stuck with his mother, untill he died early because of too much extrapolation to dangerous substances.
Bane was his primarily mentor and now it seems that one is gone too.

I would have a barbarian suited for this AP in petto too with a very nice backstory, but i´m only submitting this so far.
