Kraig hoists himself out of the water and tries to smooth the polluted water out of his hair and beard. "Bah! They didn't say it was poison water. You two OK? Yall look a little off." He pulls a wineskin of mead from his bag and takes a swig, then offers it to his friends with a shrug. "Always makes me feel better." He looks to the wall, the only apparent way to move forward without going back in the water. "I hope they had a good reason not to leave a damn rope for the rescue teams rescue team. I'll try to get up while you all catch your breath." He approaches the wall, rolling his shoulders and hopping about a bit to warm his muscles from the cold water before attempting to defeat the wall.

Kraig easily pulls himself up onto the ledge. He has to stoop because of the low ceiling. It is not very comfortable.

Kraig sees:
A collection of stalactites and stalagmites choke this lowceilinged cavern, making it difficult to squeeze between them. Matching stalactites close in from the five-foot-high ceiling, giving the impression of a maw of needlelike teeth bearing down on one another. A dead half-orc sprawls on the ground near the cave's eastern entrance.

He waits for everyone to come through then, he pulls out a candle, he mutters a few words, reaching into a pouch at his side and the candle suddenly sheds light, much brighter than most. Though as you look closer, you can see the light is actually coming from the wax part and not a fire on the wick.

No Alexis. We know this pond is foul. We would never drink from it.
