If we're not going to Iris Hill the next day, Mara could memorize Cure Disease in the morning. It's not a sure thing — still requires a caster level check against the disease DC.

Then we have 2,535 gold, 172 silver, and 343 copper. Total of 6,794 gold (assuming we sell at half price).

Dervak would like to get 2 scrolls of Force Sword (150 each, so 300) and a wand of Shield (750).

He'd also like to upgrade his Breastplate to +1, and get a Cloak of Resistance, but that would be taking more than his share of the gold, so he could wait on those if there are other purchases people want to do.

Does Theo need to spend time retraining before we go to Iris Hill? That would affect Mara's spell selection.

Short answer: No

Its not really retraining as found in ultimate campaign since it's not in character. I just don't want you to be dissatisfied with your character because it was built in a certain way and those decisions are making it not fun to play that character.

If you do this I'm trusting that you'll keep the same general flavor of character and using your best judgement on what may go too far.

Should we just split the party gold onto everybody's sheets? That's 1,365 to everybody.

Dervak would then have 1,943.5 (because he got the gold from selling the +1 Wooden Shield). He'd like to get a Wand of Shield (750), a scroll of Force Sword (150), and a +1 Cloak of Resistance (1,000), leaving him with 43 gold and 5 silver.

Also, I hadn't realized that Cat's Grace was on neither the witch nor shaman lists. Dervak will take the scroll of Cat's Grace. He'll take Blink too, as he should eventually have a way to use that.

I think Lesser Restoration is limited to the Healing patron. Mara can generally cover that, but I want three Barkskins (+3 natural armor) and a Spiritual Weapon for Iris Hill.

If Dervak is getting a Barkskin spell, he could switch out his Amulet of Natural Armor (+1) for Talisman of Warrior's Courage (and might as well wear the Beneficial Winds too at that point since you can wear up to 3 talismans in neck slot).

However, Ellery would be better to make that switch, with his +3 Will save (Dervak's is +10 vs fear once he buys that cloak). Reducing Panicked/Frightened down to Shaken could be important.

Theo wpuld be happy just to split a Wand of Remove Fear. You, of course, hold on to it; and, if you happen to get scared, than Tjeo will chase you down and Use Magic Device it.

Got the gold split between everyone and Dervak's items added onto his sheet. If Mara wants to choose different spells for the day that's fine but you could get a scroll of remove fear too. I'm not sure you'll need 50 castings of it though.
