The Society has sent a group of Pathfinders to to the secluded town of Railford to establish a new lodge. The lodge master's words echo in your head as you travel the disused roads and paths.
“This mission is easy,” he said, “All you need to do is travel
to Railford, find the son of Iodon Railford and convince him
to let the Pathfinders use part of his distillery as a lodge. We
have finances, we can protect him, and if nothing else, we can
help him honor the work of his father, who after all, was one
of us.”
This will be my 1st attempt at a PBP game so bear with me.
Requirements:
- PFS legal character
- Society number
- If seclect to play I will need all chronicle sheets for your character.
- ability to post 2 times or more a day (i will not be a nazi about this)
Recruitment will stay open until Nov 7th, at that point I will pick the party.
Tier of play will be determined by applicants, feel free to submit multiple characters (you can only play one though). Tier's are 1-2, 3-4, 6-7.
Party size will be no more than 6.
I will be using maps with coordinates for battles.
We will have a short discussion about game protocol and ground rules when the players are picked

Well, while I have been pbp for a while now, this would be my first society game. So I assume that I would be providing a Tier 1 character, correct?
There are several ways this could play out for you.
If we play Tier 1-2 then you can use your lvl 1 character.
If we play Tier 3-4, or 6-7 then you can use a pre-generated character, then when your lvl 1 character reaches the correct lvl you can apply the chronicle sheet.
Nestor, I've been wanting to try out a crypt breaker alchemist in a PFS game. Of course since it would be a brand new character, I could only run at Tier 1-2.
Looks like there is a lot of interest in tier 1. I will submit something along those lines then.

I only have level 1 characters. I can do whatever fills the greatest need. They are:
Tortella, the close-combat sorcerer;
Brik, the tough-as-nails barbarian;
Slypher Xen, the hard-hitting staff magus; and
Danyn, the mostly-useless cleric (seriously, he won't be useful until level 2);
I'll only play Danyn if there is large-scale public outcry to see him in action (more like inaction).
I am certainly interested, but I have played that one

The Concorezio family were among the founding members of the Order of the Godclaw and the rise of the Hell Knight Orders in Cheliax. Luccinus is the youngest of four sons of Giuseppe Concorezio, but in this generation, the only one who has not been given to the Order for training.
Instead he was packed off to Absalom for training among some of the best warriors, including some tutors of the Pathfinder Society. He has been rigorously trained in war, but also to act well in polite society, to 'read' men and to be a trained observer.
Luccinus is uncertain as to the reason for such a move - he is in all respects, a born warrior but it seems he's being groomed for another task... something taking him away from his childhood dreams of joining the Hellknights in service to Cheliax.
His time with tutors from the Pathfinder society has increased until one of them delivered a letter from his father, advising him that IF there is opportunity to join the Society, that he should take it... and so he has, a dutiful son, sought such an appointment.
He is clean cut, and well groomed but his pleasant manners need to be forced rather than something that comes naturally. He comes across as cold and ruthless. He is devoted to Godclaw as a faith, something that at times, is less than politically advantageous among his countrymen than the conventional worship of Asmodeus.

You can't play a goblin without a special boon given to you at an event. Since you weren't aware of that, it seems obvious that you have no such boon. Thus, you can't play a goblin.
Have you considered Tengu? I think they would offer a very good non-traditional ninja option for you.

Yep they added Aasimar, Tengu, and Tiefling to the mix. I picked up the Advanced Race guide just now

A Tien themed aasimar Cleric of the Tien Goddess of the Sun and Mendev Crusader... yep, its a strange build with a stretchy background but hey, I've seen worse :) The character does come with a backstory.
I need to update Equipment to match against the chronicle.

Badr al Din (Full moon of the faith) is the son of Badriyah (Resembling the full moon), a well to do owner and mistress of a routine trade caravan that moves along the trade route regions of Qadira, who in turn was the second daughter of a wealthy merchant (family and inheritance are traced via the female line).
Badr al Din is an excellent rider and has won several competitions in his early teen years. Like all males of Qadira, a man is expected to stand on their own and so he sought a trade beyond that of riding. Badr al Din was fortunate to apprentice himself to an uncle who among his other alchemical talents, had the secret of black powder, he was doubly fortunate that his uncle also frequently traded with the few of Qadira who used firearms and thanks to some well placed wagers was able to gain training in firearms and, eventually, an old musket of his own.
Being adventuresome in nature and desiring to see more of the world, he sought his mothers small influence to make contact with any who may offer opportunity to travel. His trade minded mother had a business partner who had been a member of the Pathfinder Society, who in turn was able to sponsor the young man to Absalom and into the Society.
He is a devout follower (like all of his mothers line) of Desna and will hear no ill said of Her. As Desna is an unusual faith in Qadira, Badr al Din has had to deal with considerable persecution and attacks on his faith, but his devotion has held firm.
He is tall but lean, often in baggy clothing, loose headdress and a sand coloured cloak.
