After some additional healing, you check the final door to the south.
The eastern and western walls of this long room are lined with empty weapon racks, while depressions that once held suits of armor can been seen inside of broken display cases along the eastern and western walls. The drawers of the two workbenches in the center of the chamber have been pulled out and their contents — empty cans of oil, tiny screws, and other bits of rusty metal — are scattered across the floor. A small compartment in the southern wall hangs open. Everything looks like its been stripped pretty well bare.
Across these compartments, you're able to recover five high-capacity kishalee batteries, three temporal disruption grenades, five regular disruption grenades, a minor disruption pistol and a major disruption pistol.

Arcalinte waits for the find to be divvied up before taking point to the door they'd just opened.

With new weapons in hand, you return to the large open intersection to face the bulkhead leading deeper into the complex. Arc hits the access panel to the side of the doors and they slide smoothly aside.
The room beyond buzzes with activity. Three control panels stand at the far end of the room opposite a the double door you're entering from. The panels flash with multicolored lights and occasionally beep. Beyond them, the wall is actually a large window, with some kind of shimmering containment field in place of glass. The vast bore that pierces the heart of the planetoid can be seen through the window. The walls of that massive cylinder are veined with strange conduits and studded with peculiar technology; countless maintenance robots, many so far away as to seem like mere insects, crawl over the various sections of the machinery, occasionally lit by a random spark of electricity. Monitors line the walls inside the room, showing close-ups of the robots working within the bore.
However, of more interest is the heavily armored android standing at the ready behind one of the consoles. (See handouts for a pic) Her long rifle and spiked armor are characteristically 'Devourer Cult', but her face lacks any of the fanaticism or madness of the others. In fact, she appears utterly emotionless. Her rifle is trained on the doorway as it opens.
"You are too late. We have already retrieved the control board. Your fragile forms will give way before the might of the Devourer."
In front of Null-9, a cluster of reprogrammed kishalee robots stand at the ready to block your approach. Each bot is armed with a drill and a laser blaster.

Spec's sharply aimed plasma blast strikes true despite the intervening cover, though part of its intensity is abated by a force field that flickers slightly as it dissipates. Null-9 is lightly burned, but appears otherwise unphased.
The maintenance bots move in against Isu, stabbing with their drills. Only one manages to get past his defenses, and even then his grit leaves the stab shallow (7 dmg after DR). The pinkish bot fires a laser beam at him, scoring a hit but provoking an AoO in the process. (Dealing 3 dmg after resistance)

Arc flies into the cosmic eddy and manages to avoid being flung about by the forces within. Unfortunately, he struggles to fly effectively against the churning air. The surviving bots stab away at Isu and Arc with their drills, but the sturdy armors the two are wearing deflect each attack.

Cosmic Eddy is in effect in the white circle. The area is essentially difficult terrain. Anyone entering the area has to make a Reflex save (DC19) or take 9 dmg and be knocked prone. A successful save halves the damage and avoids the prone. Once you're inside the Eddy, you don't have to make additional saves unless you exit and re-enter.

Thanks to being paralyzed, she's a sitting duck against the blast of holy fire from Arc. Although she isn't able to dodge the plasma blasts from Spec, her solid armor and the intervening cover protect her from being immolated. Arc's supernova also obliterates the yellow maintenance bot.

Arc's blade cuts into Null's chest, slicing through the android's flesh and drawing blue blood. The wound is serious, but not immediately fatal. Null-9 glances down without any emotion, then back up at your group. She manages to dodge Isu's hammer and two more plasma blasts from Spec, though no amount of armor or agility can protect her from the shooting stars Jelico sends out.
It seems she's very close to falling, but it'll take more than a couple more magic missiles to do it.

Possessed by unshakable determination, Null-9 ducks, spins past, deflects and rolls away from attack after attack. Laser fire scorches walls, Jelico's arms close on thin air, and even Arc's charge is little more than a false start. But her flight is finally cut short when Spec delivers a point blank blast of plasma straight into her center of mass. She staggers, utters "No. This is not how it-" and collapses.
Combat over!
:O She was amazingly close to getting away!
Falling on her back, her eyes whirr audibly as they focus on Jelico next to her. Her gaze is devoid of fear, anger, or hate, but there seems to be some glint of recognition. "Ah." is all she's able to croak as she expires.

"NO! YOU DON'T GET TO GET OFF THAT EASILY! WHERE'S MY MANUSCRIPT? HUH? WHAT ABOUT THE LIVES OF MY MEN?"
Jellico yells at Null-9's corpse, learning very quickly that revenge rarely satiates grief.
After a few more moments of frustrated yelling, Jellico slumps back against the wall. "That's it then. My oath is fulfilled. They're gone," he says to no one in particular.
