I'm still holding that silver hammer. Although after wiffing it so many times, i have no interest in keeping it. I think it could be sold.
DM Giants
Red gemstone from Kobold has a magical aura but is not magical
Vial of Tan Liquid is magical
Silver etched small wooden stick is magical
crossbow bolts x4
Nothing else is magical.
After a few days you can identify all the objects.
Silver etched small wooden stick is a Wand of Magic Missile with 28 chrages.
Red gemstone has an magical aura but no magical properties.
Vial of Tan Liquid is a Potion of Bull Strength
Crossbow bolts x4 are flaming bolts +1
Their is a set of Masterwork Stonemason tools and a Masterwork Light Crossbow.
Un'gra
So, I've never played a character with access and desire to use as many different weapons as Un'gra, so I've got a question I can't find an answer for in the rules.
When it comes to having weapons available to be drawn as a normal weapon drawing (move, no AoO) action are you limited to two weapons, ex sword/ shield, sword/ sword or is there some other rule?
Not a big deal because most of the situations I see myself pulling a dagger to throw (or something like that) I wouldn't be in range of AoO but it be good to know.
Keanan Garnet-Gold
I think the two silver daggers were missing from the original list, I've added them. I've replaced the unknown items with whatever the DM said they were. So, this should be the final list unless I missed something.

2 Silver Daggers--Un'gra Carrying
Nothing here I care for.
Not sure how you guys want to split it.
One way to split it is to assume all the items are at "sold" value (typically 50% of the purchase price). So, if you had 4 players and 4 items: A,B,C,D and each could be sold for 100gp (purchased for 200gp), then each player would get 100gp. However, if one of the players wanted an item, they could claim that item and not get the gold (since the item would sell for 100gp, it consumes their 100gp allotment). Thus, it was always a good idea to claim stuff you might need, since if you sell it later you get the gold you would have gotten if split originally. But of course, if there isn't anything you need, then you get whatever it was sold for.
Just one way of doing it.
Serila Gudlinck
I'd say split the gold while taking into account who takes which item, the second way Keanan mentioned. In other words a completely equal split. If you think your share of the godl is too low, just sell something. If everyone agrees, it's what I calculated below.
All prices below are sell prices. Dm, and fellow companions, could you please take a look at the items I'm not 100% sure about? they're in teh last spoiler. And please let me know if you agree with everything else I've below :)

Was reading back in the gameplay thread and found some more treasure. Nebdel found a ring that was magical. Since he is no longer with us I will let the party have it or sell it.
It was a Ring of Torag
This simple golden ring has a large red
gemstone set into it that sparkles with an
inner fire. The wearer of the ring gains fire
resistance 10 against the first fire attack that
hits him that day. This protection renews
itself every morning at dawn. In addition,
the wearer receives a +1 resistance bonus on
saves made against fire spells and effects.
The ring must be worn for 24 hours to have
any effect.
1200 gold piece value.
Serila Gudlinck
I'd prefer to sell the Ring of Thorag. Does anyone else want it?
Do you all agree on the sell price for the CLW potions, 75gp each? And the 4 Flaming Bolts, 758gp each?
Perhaps someone else can try appraising the red gem from the kobold, but as it contains unknown magic I'd say we hold onto it for now. It might sell for more once we're able to figure out what the magic is.

I'm sure it's much, much higher :P hahah, I kid, I kid.
Keanan need gold. Keanan no need weapon or armor. Keanan need gold.
DM Giants
Flaming bolts are not as strong as the Searing Arrow. I would cut the value to 1/4 that price. 758/4 = 190 each. Total of 760 gold sell price.
Serila Gudlinck
Total money:
458gp
10 gp 2 sp
2,072gp 5sp (Sold items)
482gp (Claimed items)

Keanan: 762gp 4sp 3cp - 0 = 762gp 4sp 3cp
Takes no items.
Serila: 762gp 4sp 1cp - 167gp 5sp = 594gp 9sp 1cp
Masterwork Light Crossbow - 167gp 5sp
Un'Gra: 762gp 4sp 3cp - 22gp - 30gp - 175gp = 535gp 4sp 3cp
2 Silver Daggers (already carrying) - 11gp each= 22gp
Thieves tools x2 - 15gp each = 30gp
Masterwork darkwood shortbow - 175gp
If you actually wanted one of the sold items, take it and subtract the sell price from your share of gold.
Serila will hold onto the following items:
Red gem from kobold (Unknown magic)
Signet ring with the image of a flaming hawk (Return to family)
Talking shrunken head from witch's hut
DM Giants
Serila while trying to sell your treasure you are approached by a man named Vade who is bony and thin, with gray eyes and an unkempt black beard. He would like to purchase the talking shrunken head from you. He offers 300 gold.
Being in town only a short while you have never seen this man before. Whispers and weird looks can be seen following the man as he makes his way through the High Market.
You don't have to role play this encounter if you do not want to that is why I put it in the Discussion thread. If you want to we can move it to the Gameplay thread.
Serila Gudlinck
I'll sell it, I doubt we'll have any use for it.
+75gp for everyone!
I by the way reconsider on selling the 2 potions of CLW. We should have some back-ups for healing as long as we don't have more healing spells in the group. I'll keep both in case an emergency requires them, so -150gp for me. And I'll keep the silk rope after all, so another -5gp for me.
Then come the non-loot sales and purchases:
Selling my regular Light Crossbow for 17gp 5sp.
Buying a Healer's Kit for 50gp, and a Silver Holy Symbol of Sarenrae (necklace) for 25gp.

I'd like to know why he wants the skull, so I moved it to the gameplay thread.

I'm going to be casting goodberry every day. They last 2 days so I should have 1 set from "yesterday" and one for "today". I rolled 4 total once. I'll roll one more set and that's what I think we can start with in my backpack? I'll keep them separated so I know which ones expire first.
2d4 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3
Serila Gudlinck
Did you include the silver whip?
I forgot about it :S A silver whip costs 21gp, so would sell for 10gp 5sp.
Do you want it? If so, keep it and give Keanan and August 2gp 6sp 3cp each, and me 2gp 6sp and 1cp from your own money. Meaning you'll lose 7gp 8sp 7cp.
If you don't want it, everyone but I gains 2gp 6sp 3cp from selling it. I gain 2gp 6sp 1cp.
Un'gra
Is anyone good with whips or hammers? I can't be the only one with silver haha. Especially if that one thing happens. I'll hang on to it, maybe take the feat for it at some point.
DM Giants
Ok guys we are on Hold until Monday when I can introduce the new players.
You can role play with each other or with me around town with NPC's.
The next adventure will start when the party is set.
Who knows if you role play well enough you might just fall into a quick adventure that I just make up on the spot.
Serila is getting close to one right now
Augustine Kalivas
Did we sell the silver hammer August was carrying? I don't want it. I'll mark myself down with 674gp 9sp 3cp if that is correct. I still need to pick 1 more bonus fighter feat for level 2. But otherwise, I think i'm set.
DM Giants
August update your stat line please.
DM Giants
As appreciation Laurel will sell any of her wares for cost to the party.
DM Giants
@August I would recommend buying a Darkwood Large Shield it has no Armor Check Penalty and will be better damage for shield bashing. It cost only 250 gold.

Hajar nar Jundi
Hello everyone. Posting here to dot the thread and introduce myself, thanks for choosing me to roleplay with you.
To get everyone started I'd like to ask how everyone feels about paladins, personally they have been my favorite class since 2nd Ed.
Hajar's code of Sarenrae is more of a lawful GOOD code as opposed to some other Paladin's codes. I'll be playing Hajar as an introspective sort of "preacher" type. He'll be an affable guy who is slow to anger and quick to forgive. He'll probably give enemies a chance to surrender, or some option like that at first, but not if it endangers the party or other innocents.
Anyways if you guys have questions I'd love to answer them! Good gaming.
Serila Gudlinck
Hey Hajar, looking forward to playing with you!
I like paladins, but haven't personally played them. The reason is they have to be lawful, and I prefer my characters chaotic. In fact all of my characters are chaotic.
I really like the paladin's abilities though, so I might start one some day. Perhaps if I make him a bit silly I won't mind the lawfulness :P
DM Giants
Updated the Map Hajar please try to use the Map program and let me know if you have any issues.
Hajar nar Jundi
The Map program worked fine, I've never used it before but I managed to move things around.
I tend to play neutral or lawful characters, I have trouble wrapping my head around the chaos axis and how that plays out. I also tend to play good characters more often than neutral and almost never play evilly aligned characters.
I'll try to play Hajar as easy going as possible, my paladins tend to favor good over law and that is why Sarenrae is my favorite Golarion god.
Serila Gudlinck
I've only ever played one evil character, which was a goblin. He'd let himself levitate and spin around like a frisbee, crashing into random objects. I named it the Freaksbee, and it was awesome :)
One of the characters I enjoyed most was a kitsune oracle. Her pervert greatgrandfather and reasonable grandmother haunted her, and she was a bit weird herself. She tried escaping jail by burning the wanted posters, together with several clothes (amongst which her own, except underwear). If that campaign ever continues I wonder what her punishment will be, haha :P
Atsushia Greyeyes
Hello there,
it has been a long time since i last played a wizard. I do prefer rogues, but sometimes you have to take some risks.^^
So Atsushia is a female halfling, quiet and shy, more bookish than most of those flamboyant, talkative halfling. She's a good willing person, and has a protective side but not religious.
@GM: i took one of my Traits and chose my equipment yesterday.. but it seems all the stuff didn't saved. *sighs* Will do it again.
How should we meet the group?
DM Giants
@Atsushia Welcome! Thanks for joining us. Please set up a stat line next to your name and picture like the other players.
The group will role play meeting each other.
Serila Gudlinck
Welcome Atsushia, good to have you aboard! :)
DM Giants
@Atsushia Greyeyes - Please make up a reason for being in town and begin exploring the town a little. I have make a token for you on the map so please move the token to where you want to go and hit the enter button to save the new map. Copy the web address for your new map and link it in your post. If you have any trouble with the map program let me know.
Atsushia Greyeyes
no problem for moving the token.
I guess Atsushia would come to town to seek employment, either as a cook or as a bookkeeper. Or she could visit any resident wizard,if there's any in town, carrying a message from her own mentor (nothing important, just regular "Hey bud, how are you, been a long time!" type of letters.^^)
Keanan Garnet-Gold
I have a dorky rules question that's so embarrassing, I didn't want to post it on the rules forum. If you have a human character, do they get 1 favored class or two? What about dwarfs?
Is there some kind of listing of which races get multiple favored classes?
I'm not talking about getting those weird bonuses, I'm talking about if you took X levels in Class A, and Y levels in Class B, can you have a favored class +1 HP from both A and B? I know some races can do it, but I'm stumped as to which ones.
Thanks in advance for answering dumb rules question I should know.
DM Giants
Only the Half-Elf can have multiple favored classes.
Serila Gudlinck
Humans get only 1 favored class. Only half-elves get 2 favored classes, due to the Multitalented racial trait.
Half-elfs can even take the feat Multitalented Mastery, which causes all their classes to be considered favored classes.
Atsushia Greyeyes
Keanan, there is this Feat :
Eclectic
You have a talent for picking up different vocations.
Prerequisite: Human.
Benefit: Choose an additional favored class and gain either +1 hit point or +1 skill point whenever you take a level in that class. If you choose a class in which you already have levels, the benefits of this feat are retroactive.
But it's only for humans, not dwarves. You can find it in the Advanced Player guide, or in the PRD on Paizo for quick reference
DM Giants
Come on guys lets post. If you want me to skip to the adventure let me know.
Hajar nar Jundi
Sorry GM, Hajar hasn't gotten much interest so he was waiting for the others to exit the temple of Cayden before he interacted with them again.
Keanan Garnet-Gold
Come on guys lets post. If you want me to skip to the adventure let me know.
Not sure what to do, I'm not inside the church. I went back to the tavern. Balazar is with Serila.
Augustine Kalivas
I'm feeling just a bit lost. To get me back on track, I'm with Atsushia, Serilia and Un'gra inside the temple right? I'll be honest, I somehow lost track of what we are trying to do.
Maybe a quick recap to set me straight about what is going on? The party is somewhat split, and I think I just got mixed up with what everybody was trying to accomplish.
Serila Gudlinck
August, last time I checked you were indeed with the people who went inside the temple :)
Un'gra's searching for his friends Klein, and went to the temple to search there. The temple was closed, and the clerics of others tempels didn't want to talk to him. Serila decided to help him, and they went to visit the temple together.
Once inside the temple there were signs of a struggle, and Serila discovered a back entrance. There Un'gra, Serila and Atsushia saw signs of something being dragged down the alley south.
Un'gra and Serila just went down the alley, after Serila noticed Hajar was watching them and she asked Hajar to come with them.
Balazar currently follows Serila, and Keanan's drinking beer.
Keanan Garnet-Gold
Well, I thought the sheriff was going to put out a notice for people to help us find out who poisoned the water, and suspect #1 is the necromancer, since we encountered some undead, and the best guess for the necromancer was the witch, where we are supposed to go anyway for 100g/each. Combine this with the warg's den, and I've just been waiting for them to finish some side thing they are doing at a church.
Come drink beer with me in the tavern until they get done with this church stuff.
