Gilthanis Silverbrow |
presuming pc's turn now
Gilthanis, wonders how much more the undead abomination can take. He looks at Buri, and sees the nasty gash in his side and his breathing is heavier than usual, even for combat. Gilthanis stays put, takes a hand off his bow, clutches his holy symbol.
Sheylyn, grant myself and allies the strength and resolve to overcome our obstacle.

Buri Sunwalker |
Buri's vision turns black as the world seems to loop in circles around his head. But before his consciousness slips way his body is quickly filled with positive energy mending the flesh and healing the bruises.
The dwarf winks a couple of times, takes a deep breath and swings his axe again in a mighty arc.

"Aye, Buri," Glorin replies.
"I can't imagine half the likes of what we've seen down here. Downright ridiculous, it is. But before we go meet whatever we're supposed to, I want to see what the dragon was hiding."
Glorin wades into the pool and pokes the bottom with the spear end of his weapon.

Scattered along the bottom of the pool are the remnants of what was once
Illvaster’s treasure hoard. While the fetid water has long tarnished
the hundreds of loose coins into valueless ruin, two black stone pots sealed with wax have survived. Between them they contain a scabbard of vigor ( Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Equipment 318), a phylactery of faithfulness, a potion of cure serious wounds, and five polished pieces of amber worth 100 gp each.
One more thing to do and we will be finished.
Buri Sunwalker |
Buri stores the itens for later. One of us should use the scabbard of vigor while meeting the demon. We may need the advantage. He then offers the scabbard to Glorin.
We should also use the potion if needed.
Glorin Too-Tall |
Looking over his urgrosh, Glorin replies, "I'm honored, but I can't imagine my weapon will fit in there. And I'm sure Gamin doesn't need the bonus, do you?"
Glorin Too-Tall |
"Buri, you have the scabbard? Gilthanis, hold the phylactery. Zarunkumar, keep the potion ready. I'll wield Gamin. Let's show this demon what we're made of!"

Make it up since she granted you a spell-like ability, just tell me you want to banish the demon. And only you, Zarunkumar, may banish it.
This circular alcove buds off from the larger cavern to the north. An elaborate set of concentric circles inscribed in dull metal of different colors occupies much of the space within the room. Inside the summoning circle you see a helpless gnome in need of rescue. The gnome is dressed in threadbare clothes and has an unkempt mane of fuchsia hair. He continues to call for aid.
When approached he relates a story of who he was imprisoned here centuries ago by an organization known as the Thrallkeepers, who bound him here in the keep known as the Black Edifice to use his fey essence to power their magic. His captors have all long since died, but the wards that bind him have kept him young. All he wants now is to be free so that he can taste fresh air once again, die at last, and perhaps travel back in spirit to the First World from whence he came.
Zarunkumar |
Zarunkumar pulls out her crossbow and points it at the "gnome" "Even in this form I have a feeling he won't go easily." and with that she looses a bolt.

Upon being freed and ensuring Koth’Vaul’s banishment,
Sulianna heals Kalkamedes of his affliction. With both
of them restored, the PCs earn powerful, lifelong allies.
Sulianna accompanies the group back to Kalkamedes’s
cottage and then departs for Elysium, but not before
promising a favor in return for the PCs’ assistance.
Venture-Captain Sheila Heidmarch expresses visible
relief upon seeing the Pathfinders return and offers
them heartfelt thanks for their patience and hard work.
Kalkamedes is also grateful, spreads word of the PCs’
good deed to his long-time Pathfinder colleagues, and—
with Gamin’s consent—gives his sword to the PCs as a
gift. In addition, he might take one or more of the PCs
under his wing and act as a mentor figure.
