After stumbling through the woods of the Varisian coast you find tangles of Nettlewood that lead to an entrance to Thistletop finding narrow goblin paths that eventually lead to a hidden entrance.
The briars and thistles that grow so rampantly in Nettlewood are even more dense and tangled here, close to the shore. Although not quite dense enough to block the sound of waves crashing on the unseen shores to the west, the undergrowth is certainly thick enough to block sight and access to the coast. Few trees grow this close to the edge of the sea, but the briars themselves often reach heights to rival them; here, the patch is nearly twenty feet high.
Perception checks as you dot please.

"Always the green," says Kelvor, looking with wonder at the shrubbery reaching into the sky. "So different from the Storval."
He stares intently at the no-longer hidden entrance, considering what he and his companions will find through it.

Omrax moves up to take a better look through the thick briars.

Omrax nods in agreement and is willing to go first unless stealth is desired. Not his strong suit.
"Sir Farouq, I will enter to see what sort of ambush we find.. "
Omrax draws sword and shield and when the others are ready, will head in...

A four-foot-high tunnel winds through the dense briars and nettles. The floor is hard-packed earth, with patches of wiry plants growing stubbornly
here and there.
At this point I need to know if you want to follow tracks which would require a survival roll or if you want to exit at the nearest thistle door?

Once again Gazmold leads the party to a the left when he hits another fork he opts to go left instead of right and once again hits some more abandoned watchposts following the path he enters into a hollowed portion that is 30' diameter, low-ceilinged chamber that stinks of smoke. A shallow fire pit smolder in the center of the floor, while nine tangled reed-and-leaf nests line the wall.
You see a gang of about 10 goblins huddled in the corner out of fear. The do not seem to notice Gazmold yet, and the others have yet to enter the smoke filled chamber.

Gazmold quickly motions for any followers to stop and makes his way back to the group, he quietly relates the details [b]"There are 10 goblins up ahead, they appear to be afraid of something. It doesn't look like they spotted me. I say we take them by surprise and end their misery."
He waits to see what the others do but promptly pulls out his crossbow, readying to attack.

Kelvor of the Shundar-Quah sees his new companion Farouq preparing for battle. The burned Shoanti follows suit, pulling his derhk-skil and kris quietly from their sheaths. He kisses each one on the blade.
"Let my vision kiss my blades and may my blades never sing untrue," he whispers.
With a jerk of his head, he throws the eagle cape's cowl back off his head, revealing a bald, burned head utterly covered in the navrik tattoo. Oddly, despite the burned skin the tattoo is perfectly formed.
He moves forward to stand near the armored holy warrior, Omrax. Over their time together, Kelvor has come to recognize the prowess of Omrax and always tries to work in tandem with him to flank foes.
"Omrax, whatever the green ones are frightened of may be a friend to us, but... out here, in the Hinterlands and Nettlewood... it is likely a foe. Just a worse one than the goblins. I will go long and flank as best I can."
