As Calin and Tobbs walk down to the corridor The stink of mildew and stale incense fills the air. Sputtering lanterns provide just enough light to reveal peeling paint on the walls and a floor covered in sand. A rickety staircase leads up to the north, while sturdy wooden doors exit the hall to the east and west.

As they carefully traverse the corridor they hear a sudden grinding when Tobbs hits a point just above the doors.

Counterweights give way and giant hole opens underneath Calin and Tobbs.

The door isn't trapped, and when you enter the room you see that cracked ceramic tiles cover the walls and columns in this expansive chamber. In the center of the room, iron posts connected by chains delineate several smaller subsections, each crowded with boxes, crates, urns, and sarcophagi. The stink of soot and the leathery smell of death hangs heavy in the air.

But as you enter you see something terrible shifting in the wreckage, a collection of cast off organs that rolls and squeezes against itself, forming a writhing mass of viscera that hovers in the air.

It's a vile amalgam of leftover organs from mummification rituals animated by necromancy. Widely considered the worst of the abominations by Osiriani society, only the most wicked or depraved created them as tomb guardians or to haunt burial sites.

You remember that tekenu are incredibly resilient (DR 5).

Sorry for no map update, I wanted to include Albus and Audia's moves first but since they weren't here I didn't have time before I left for work this morning.

Botting Albus and Audia (FYI, Audia has told me he's sick, which gives us two people not posting for wildly different reasons that may both involve violent vomitting.)

Albus's wild strike at the monster while it's attached to Tobbs misses, but he carries his swing around in a full arc and brings his sword back down blazing with by-now-familiar fire. The flames scorch the monster and it falls away from the dying Tobbs in response.

Audia crouches and extends her hand, invoking a prayer to Cayden Cailean that sounds suspiciously like a drinking song.

Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (6, 6) + 4 = 16

Healing magic causes Tobbs terribly labored breathing to clear up and his eyes to open, though he is still unfocused.

The monster turns its attentions to Albus however, by far the most worrisome of its foes.
