Rameth detects no traps on the sarcophagus and Dwalindor slides the lid of the coffin to reveal a mummified corpse within.

The mummy has a golden funereal mask and a gold and turquoise pendant resting on its chest above its folded hands. You also see a small statuette on the side of the mummy that looks like a sarcophagus with a cat's head in a black polished stone on top.

Please make a DC 13 will save to avoid being panicked.

The mask is worth 150 gp, the pendant 50 gp, and the cat-headed statue of doooooooom is a magical item. Just as a reminder that sell prices are depressed for all treasures because of all the adventurers in the ruins, so instead of the 50% return you normally get you're down to 25% if you try to sell on the open market.

The only item that gives off any magic is the statue, it gives off an evocation aura that you recognize as a reflection of the sanctify corpse spell.

The doors leading into the house do not seem to be trapped or locked, and you can enter when you wish.

Given the length of time the item has been infusing the mummy with positive energy, the chances of the mummy rising are basically nothing.

And you can totally try to get rid of the statuette in spite of that.
