Dereje hurries forward to cover Hana's back, pointing his pistol in the direction of the Thrunefang savages. He does not fire his gun just yet, opting to try for a "peaceful" resolution. But then again, he was not exactly counting on one.

Lawdrak and Sharpmaw move up along side Hana, while Dereje steps up and unsuccessfully tries to shut things down without a fight.

Meanwhile Mum moves into position and readies to cast a spell.

As inevitable violence breaks out, Hana steps up to the closest Redfang and brings her katana across in a quick slash.

Hana's strike is unsuccessful, just barely missing.

The savages fly into a rage and rush the party, one of them rushing past Hana to get to Mum. The pair heading toward the wizardess find out quickly that is a mistake as waves of color overwhelm them, dropping them to the ground.

Two of the now frothing at the mouth savages slash at Hana with badly damaged, old scimitars of assumedly Chelish make. Unfortunately for the Samurai-ko, both strikes find their mark, cutting into her flesh with rusty blades.

Hana takes 13 damage and gets an AoO on #1 if she would like.

I shouldn't be surprised. They probably don't even know what this thing is, Dereje thinks to himself with a grimace when his attempt to force a parley is blithely rejected. After moving into position he takes aim, making sure that Mizu is out of his line of fire. With a small explosion, he looses a ball of lead on one of the Thrunefangs.

Adara rushes up to provide healing fire, but her way is blocked by a savage.

"I do believe I have something for your madness," the suli says deceptively calm.

She holds up one cracked and blackened finger. Its tip begins to glow white hot.

"Here. Allow me to help you," Adara says and reaches out to touch the savage (1).

Adara calmly strides toward one of the remaining savages, but fails to touch him with the white hot tip of her finger.

Hana slashes one of the savages, opening a massive wound in his chest while Mum begins to collect the weapons of those rendered unconscious by her spell.

The wounded savage does his best to return Hana's favor, and does so, slashing the samurai-ko across her thigh.

The dice gods seem angry with Hana. She takes another 7 damage.

Meanwhile you notice a pair of savage in a look-out tower (V4). Hearing the sound of battle they begin to move down the tower and toward you. Likewise more come out of one of the huts, (V12) with two more reaching you and engaging Lawdrak and Sharpmaw with their broken scimitars, but both missing their mark

"For an undine, Mizo no Hana, you certainly seem to enjoy fire," Adara jests as she reaches out to ignite the woman's wounds in flame to rapidly heal with metabolic heat.

The dice gods are always angry with me.

Hana staggers as the foe puts a gash in her armored coat and blood trickles out from underneath it, running down her leg in a crimson weave. Then she gives a cry of defiance and slashes at him again.

Stepping forward as he performs the rote motions of preparing his next shot, Dereje points his gun and fires once again. A few allies were standing in his line of fire, but fortunately for them, he has been working on his aim.

Adara does her best to keep Hana in the fight, knitting together a few of the samurai-ko's wounds with celestial fire.

Hana, for her part, takes another wild swing one of the savages. Lawdrak and Sharpmaw are likewise unsuccessful in their efforts to decrease the numbers of the enemy.

Dereje blasts a hole in the gut of the savage engaging Sharpmaw, while Estietre brings up and illusionary wall of flame in an attempt to keep more of the cannibals at bay. The illusion does just that to the one savage than can currently be seen beyond the flames.

More begin to arrive from the doorway just to the northwest of Hana, while those already engaged take slashing swings at Hana, Sharpmaw, and Lawdrak. While this time Hana is spared another cut, as is Sharpmaw, Lawdrak suffers a brutal slash across his chest.

Lawdrak takes 10 damage.

Dereje takes aim and with a carefully lined up shot, catches one of the cannibals square in the forehead with the shot. Gore splatters the area as the savage's headless corpse falls to the ground.

She does not elaborate, but the oracle's ruthless practicality shouldn't be too hard to deduce.

Adara channels more healing energy into Hana, just as more savages begin to appear.

Two come out of the building near Hana, another pulls back a curtain to reveal himself near Lawdrak. One opens the door of the structure behind Dereje, while yet one more is visible beyond the wall of flames.

Two of the newly arrived savages swing ineffectually at Hana, while a third has a similar lack of success attempting to stab Lawdrak.

Mum takes a few steps from the nearest incoming savage, and then unceremoniously jabs an adjacent unconscious one in the throat with her spear.

Mum stabs one of the unconscious savages in the throat with her spear, blood pours from the wound and the rapidly dying cannibal's mouth as the life drains from his eyes.

Another savage exits the structure near Hana, moving into a position to take a swing at the samurai-ko, coming dangerously close to causing a fatal wound across Hana's throat but she manages to get her katana up in time to prevent the worst of the blow.

Seeing his tribesman behind Lawdrak, the other red-clad savage moves into a flanking position, but is still unable to land a successful strike on the young Kellid.

Hana takes 6 damage.

Lawdrak dodges the strikes of the tribesmen, then decides to give the flankers a taste of their own potion. With a sharp whistle and a shake of his head at the Thrunefang beside him, he steps aside, waiting for Sharpmaw to help him surround their enemy.

As the new wave of enemies come to try and surround her and Hana, Adara attempts once again to reach out and transfer heat from a white hot fingertip.

Unfortunately, the savage's wild movements prove too erratic for Adara to predict how to reach him safely.

Adara attempts to burn one the savages beginning to pile up around the samurai-ko, but fails to make contact.

Lawdrak and Sharpmaw seem to have difficulties pinning down one the newest savages, as they both fail to land their strikes despite their tactical positioning.

Perhaps feeling a bit overwhelmed and desperate, Hana lashes out and manages a thin cut into a savage's shoulder.

Dereje is up, followed by the blue cannibals.

Dereje says nothing as Mum kills one of the downed cannibals. Seeing as they were still in the middle of battle, and that he just blew another one's head of his shoulders, it seemed disingenuous to raise any sort of moral debate. Especially since more and more enemies were coming out of the woodwork.

The paladin manages to finish reloading his gun, only to immediately fire the shot into the savage emerging from the building behind him.

Dereje blasts a hole into the savage coming out of the structure, but is unable to stop the cannibals relentless pursuit.

Dereje's most recent target charges at him, brandishing a well worn scimitar, but fails to strike the paladin.

Meanwhile the two blue-clad savages engaged in battle with Hana continue their assault, with one finding an opening in the samurai-kos' defenses.

Yet another cannibal strikes at Lawdrak, cutting deep into the druid's side.

To make matters worse, another savage comes out of the trees to the south and following him is a woman of significant age and long straggly hair. On her should is a monkey.

Hana takes 5 damage. Lawdrak takes 5 damage.

The two remaining savages slowly adjust their positions to attempt to take down the dangerous tyrannosaurus, coordinating their strikes, but neither is able to land a meaningful blow.

Did some math and my attack rolls for this game are currently averaging a 6.

Sharpmaw's bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 6) + 2 = 13

Grand Lodge

Hana's strike goes just high and wide of her intended target. Lawdrak does not have any better luck, but Sharpmaw's jaws snap down on the cannibal's exposed stomach, eviscerating the unfortunate savage.

Adara is up to finish Round 5. Dereje can post his Round 6 actions.

Surprised when the cannibal does not immediately drop, Dereje just barely manages to avoid his retribution. He quickly pulls out his cutlass and attempts to finish him off with a wild swing, but ends up missing entirely.

Adara steps to one side to make room for Hana to find a better position not to be exposed. As she does so she calls out to Sarenrae and summons holy fire to burn the savages near her. Red 3, Red 7, & Blue 1.

Gouts of fire roar from Adara's badly damaged hands, setting two of the savages a flame, while the third avoids the worst of the fire.

The slightly scorched savage forms a line with the cannibal that had accompanied the aged woman, as they continue their assault on Lawdrak, both cutting deep into the young Kellid's flesh.

Two more strike at Hana, with one finding an opening in the samurai-ko's defenses, while the final blue clad savage strikes at Dereje, stabbing the paladin in the leg.

Finally, the old woman wiggles a feather in the general direction of Sharpmaw while chanting.

Okay...rough round. Lawdrak takes 7 damage and is unconscious and bleeding out. Hana takes 7 damage, Dereje takes 5 damage, and Sharpmaw needs to make a DC 17 Will Save.
