Moved them there since its easier to update when everyone is moving around, changing positions. If you're already a level one monk? Well..looks like you get next week's benefit instead. You gain Martial Training I as a bonus feat ignoring the per-requisites. The two maneuvers gained are: Brawler's Attitude and Flurry Strike. Both of these may only be used with unarmed attacks.
Boost action. (Boosts may be used as a swift action)
By using the skill of the empty-handed warriors that came before him, the disciple focuses his will to using his body in less conventional ways in combat. When initiating this boost, the initiator gains a +4 competence bonus to his next CMB check when using his unarmed strike or discipline weapon to perform the following combat maneuvers: dirty trick, disarm, grapple, or trip.
Strike (standard action to use).
The disciple of the Broken Blade learns to maximize openings in his opponent's defenses and makes lightning fast attacks whenever possible. As a standard action, the initiator may make two attacks at his full base attack bonus.

Urias, the game is not likely to take a traditional turn anytime soon. The training 'section' is a full 5 months in game time. While there will be some small dungeons and such scattered through that period, I tend to play fairly RP/political heavy games with lots of small details flying around that may or may not end up coming up again.
Mind, even if PC's don't pick up on small details here and there, it won't be important. They're more of a fun "oh hey, I remember that being mentioned.." bit for later on.
Now, assuming you still want to stick with us, what can I do to help lessen confusion? I can try to mark each post with the Day and a bolded list of all individuals present in that period? I'll try to make a better reminder for each day to say whether an "action" can be done and who still needs to give one.

Urias- Had a big long post, but lost it. Oh well. I think you have plenty to say that's intelligent, I've played with you before and enjoyed the experience. If you'd like to role play a bit with just the party, I'm sure that's an option and you can just ignore the rest of the NPCs for the most part. I love a good back and forth, so just let me know if you're up for it.
Yeah, I'd noticed the broken post too. I'm not sure when DMRaven is on, but he sometimes posts early in the morning for me, hopefully we won't have to wait until tomorrow.

Regarding Urias's Post:
It really does seem like there's a lot going on. I guess we're all using different strategies for dealing with it. Here's mine, which you can totally steal if you'd like, since your character has seemed to be pretty withdrawn as well ( although it's probably focus rather than extreme shyness/introversion that's making him seem that way).
Eilidh has it easier dealing with the large number of NPCs. She decided right away that most of them weren't worth forging a friendship with. However, she likes Ardis Rotheld's...beard, so she wanted to be friends with him, and she feels badly about how she treated Septima and wants to repair that relationship (haha, yeah, right!). I might consider another scrub NPC worthy of Eilidh's attention next week, and I'll probably find an "adult" NPC to work with/for, since Eilidh is supposed to be the responsible-ish twin. Just keep the numbers manageable and ignore the rest. Most of them won't be around by the end, anyways.
Also, Eilidh is probably mostly over hating Urias for beating the crap out of her sister, so if you wanted to chat, she'd be...well, she wouldn't love it, but she doesn't love talking to anyone. She'd suffer through it. Actually, that goes for any of the PCs.
Also, I believe tomorrow (in game) is our day off. Maybe we can start looking for some silly five-room dungeon or something. I'm thinking the Scriptorium HAS to have some sort of secret room, and since I kind of envisioned this campaign as "Hogwarts meets Boot Camp", I don't see any reason we couldn't get in a little trouble and still make the Knights.

Yes, in the end 90% of the NPC's don't matter since they lose anyway. I suggest watching who wins fights regularly/goes up in rankings to actually challenge you lot. The one's that lose or don't go up in rankings are there to fill in the ranks so to speak. Since only 10 scrubs pass, only five of your fellow fifteen scrubs matter. Some of the winners are already selected by having better stats/classes than the others. A few are up for grabs depending on interactions with the PC's--meaning if a player chooses to make a scrub important by engaging with them more, then that NPC will develop more flavor/win more fights.

DMRaven |

Bah, no that's on me Daen. I thought you were only going to challenge someone if the NPC's won. Do you want to challenge Kassara, Urias, or Eckart then?
Eckart, I saw your post but figured I'd wait on that until Daen or Kassara made their challenges.
Notes for self:
Urias - 1 win, no loss, no challenge.
Kassara - 1 win, no loss, challenge: Elyssa
Daen - Challenge: Urias, Kassara or Eckart
Eckart - Challenge Elyssa or Eilidh

DMRaven |

Hm. Its difficult to run multiple fights if you can challenge more than once each week. I may possibly make it so anyone in the top ten can only challenge once? This would let, for example, Eckart run his battle against Allie while Elyssa and Kassie fight it out.
I also placed it at the end of the week right before the "Free" day, so we can always move on to that time period if we find that duels take longer than a week in real time.

Eckart Vogelstein |

I have a question about the broken blade maneuvers I have.
On D20 it says,
The Broken Blade’s associated skill is Acrobatics, and its associated weapon groups are close, monk, and natural.
Soon after that it says,
Use of discipline-specific weapons with Broken Blade inflict an additional 2 points of damage.
I'm not sure if unarmed attacks are included to give that +2 damage to them so I though I would ask before assuming. To me a monks unarmed strikes are his weapons but maybe that's not technically correct here.

DMRaven |

Unarmed attacks are included in them. Remember though that with Martial Training I, you can only "ready" one maneuver of the two maneuvers you learn with it, so you can only use one of them per encounter. Once you use a maneuver, you have to spend a full-round action to recover it. You can change out which maneuver you have readied in 5 minutes.
So Eckart only has basic attacks left, unfortunately.
No time to post a full-follow up at the moment, Elyssa's attack didn't hit. I forgot you were a monk and only glanced at your Dex for AC, assuming your listed one included armor.
Off to work, will try to get something up during a break, although its not easy writing a long post out on the phone.

Daen Aheritor |

If you want to keep things short, feel free to update Eckart's fight. That's going to take more posts and technically happened earlier. If you can get out a couple of short fighting posts before this evening it would help keep things moving better than if you did a long style post on your phone.

For everyone's perusal, I've update the NPC codex for DMRaven. I inlcuded a page number for each NPCs first appearance and added a few NPCs that hadn't been added for one reason or another. I'll try to update on Day Six of every week as long as there have been new NPCs.
Rhill Hinachvor Orphan, low class birth, adopted by militia veteran, has a long face with messy white hair and brown eyes. Page 1
Lond Pobiza Red hair, hazel eyes. Is sort of ugly with a crooked nose that was broken and never fixed properly. Page 1
Adir Rheahyer Thin, bald boy who shaves his head. Taller than all but Urias. Has deep-set, blue eyes. May be around 17 years of age. Page 1
Cilys Undich Short, flat-chested girl with a mid-length boy haircut. Page 1
Kathleen Heathcote Friendly looking girl with blonde hair pulled into a ponytail. Page 1
Gideon Hooton A kellid with swirling facial tattoos. His hair is long and braided, held back with a cord. Page 1
Theodric Prentice Boy with thin black hair, a thin mustache and a seemingly perpetual frown. He may be a noble son, but was turned down from choosing his number. Page 1
Elyssa Arunt A girl with short brown hair. She always seems to be tinkering with something and frequently has smudges on her face and hands. Her hair is currently slightly singed on one side. Seems a bit mouthy, but easily subdued. Page 1
Vorin Mosilde A boy with short red hair, makes decisions quickly but decisively. His family has lots of connections with the Knightso f Ozem and own several large pastures. Father is Victor Mosilde. Page 1
Rans Ageield A bearded Taldan noble with long blonde hair and sharp, hazel eyes. He seems a bit cocky. Father is a brother to a senate member. Page 1
Ardis Rotheld A nervous boy with thick, straight brown hair and a scraggly beard. His brother is a Knight of Ozem. They are originally from Ustalav and are the only survivors of a werewolf attack. Page 1
Aiden Culbert A boy with a goofy smile and too-large ears. Hair is cut in a military style. His family is relatively poor, minor nobility. Page 1
Bryson Tray A pudgy, scholarly looking boy with glasses and yellow hair. His family are Taldan nobles. Page 1
Austyn Hammel Third tallest in the cohort with brown hair, no distinguishing characteristics. Austyn gets angry easily and is a bit of a bully. His father is Pontius Hammel, a Knight of Ozem. They are not nobles. Page 1
Jalen Sturgis Son of a deceased knight. He is confident with short hair and a stern face. His smile is infectious. While confident, he doesn't come off as arrogant. Page 1
Cohort Two
Leo Surtova Cousin to the current ruler in Brevoy and son of Jaerl Surtova. He decided to look for fortune and fame in another nation. He has a grudge against practically anyone who does not fall into line and do what he thinks they should. He has short, black hair and a fairly cruel disposition. Trained in the Aldori style. Page 2
Timon Marquering One of Leo's friends. Son of a wealthy merchant in Vellumis, his family controls the trade of dyes, silks and other exotic merchandise across Lake Encarthan. He has a short beard and black hair. Bears a snowflake tattoo on the back of his left hand. Page 2
Braxton Marquering Timon's elder brother by only nine months. He wears a longer beard to try and show that he is older. Looks nearly identical to his brother. Page 2
Marcus Flint Friend of Leo. A brute fighter with short black hair and crooked teeth. He has shifty grey eyes and a habit of squeezing hands roughly to try and show physical superiority. Page 2
Padraic Collingwood One of Leo's hangers-on. Short brown hair and very protective of his friends. Has a shy demeanor and isn't naturally cruel like the people he fell in with.
Septima Cane A tall, very attractive girl with pixie cut blonde hair. The Canes are a rich noble family in Lastwall controlling much of the stone and ore trade. They have a fierce reputation as traders and an equally famous reputation for honesty. Septima is a spoiled daughter who had the best growing up and rarely wanted for something she asked for. She's not very good at insults, takes offense easily, and holds grudges for a long time. Page 2

Eilidh Notes Priestess Astrata An elderly woman, cleric of Iomedae at the Cathedral. She wears her hair in a tight bun and has a hypnotic voice and lecturing style. Page 3
Eilidh Notes Magister Dazen A short, wide dwarf with a floor-long white beard and traditional wizard’s hat. He teaches the class on arcane magic at the War Wizard’s college. Page 3
Eilidh Notes ”Alacarty” Owner of the Scriptorium. A gaunt man with wire spectacles and a hooked nose. Page 3
Eilidh here: I may have missed a few people in my update, so if they’re out there, please tell me and I’ll track them down. I’ve included page numbers for each character’s first appearance. I did not open spoilers unless my character was allowed to, so several people have question marks by their names. Also, while I think the owner of the Scriptorium is named Alacarty, my quick scan didn’t confirm that.

My work schedule recently increased unexpectedly, and I just learned that after the holidays it will be increasing even more. I mentioned earlier that I was having trouble following the complexity of this game due to being so busy. Now I feel like I really don't have the time to do it justice. There are too many great RPers and NPCs in this game to be saddled with a silent/boring/uninvolved Urias. So, I'm going to respectfully withdraw. Feel free to use Urias as an NPC for as long as you want. Hopefully my work schedule will relax in the future and I'll end up in some more games with you guys. Thanks, DMRaven! Best of gaming to you all (and merry Christmas)!

It happens! No reason to be concerned. We enjoyed the time you were able to spend with us.
On a happier note, back from my vacation. My family lives in the middle of nowhere where my phone gets no reception and their internet is..spotty at best. It was an interesting experience, as usual. I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!
