Does anyone in the party need healing? If so, Zigil will let the half-orc prisoner recover on his own, and instead use the cure light wounds on his own party. It looks like Zepfina and Zigil are down 3. Anyone else?
Zigil will also try the belt on to see if it makes a difference with her strength (or if she feels anything different at all).
If applicable: Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
This is all before getting sleep.
Zigil will cure the most wounded first. If anyone else is still down in the morning, she can take them to Sanctuary and see if they will help.

cure light wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

I think everybody is ready for 2nd level but Slei.
I assume that everybody takes their armour off to sleep?
After sleeping for a couple of hours, Slei is suddenly startled awake by something. Opening her eyes, she sees a shadowy figure creeping towards her bed!
You can use your new hp, attacks, saves, skills, etc, for this fight. However, any spells or daily abilities would not have renewed yet.

I've assumed that Slei was fairly loud when asking her question, so that is still enough to rouse Giles and Eldan. Zigil is just far enough away, and rolled lower, too barely miss the target number.
In the light from the window, Slei can see that the intruder carries a strange, sparkling blade. Her loud question echoes in the room, as the stranger lunges forward.

Gilles reaches across the bed to grab his trusty blunderbuss and unloads a spray of pellets at the assassin. The noise is surely enough to wake the dead.

The intruder in Eldan's room collapses to the floor.

Giles wings his opponent, but it is not enough to stop her from stepping up and slashing down at the farmer with her crystal blade.
concealment;slash: 1d100 ⇒ 171d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 211d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The blade sinks into the blankets between Giles' legs. Apparently the assassin misjudged in the dark.
Slei obviously needs more time to wake up before using dangerous weapons.
Movement is heard from Zepfina and Tarakona's rooms as the remaining foes strike.

vs Slei: 1d100 ⇒ 601d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 41d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Slei's foe shatters her blade against the headboard of the swashbuckler's bed, while Zigil is missed in the dark.

Zigil raises the holy symbol he keeps on a cord around his neck and it emits an extra-powerful [i]blinding flash. 20' radius. The assassin will be dazzled for 2 rounds. If 2 Hit Dice or fewer, must save vs. DC 16 or be blinded for 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds.
Beacon of Faith (free action): Once per day you can use a domain power or a domain spell as if you were two levels higher.
Blinding Flash (Su): As a standard action, you can emit a flash of light from your holy symbol or divine focus. The most powerful light emanates out 20 feet from you. Creatures with fewer Hit Dice than your cleric level within this area are blinded for 1d4 rounds unless they succeed at a Fortitude save (DC 15). All creatures in this area are dazzled for 2 round (1/2 your cleric level, minimum 1).
(and I see that I have not included my holy symbols in my list of gear... Ziggy has two (so far) - one on a thong around his neck, and one painted on the buckler (if that's acceptable))
She will then reach for her sword, and stand to confront the assassin.

stab Giles: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 211d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
ouch
Both attempts are successful against the farmer, as his onesie does little to block the blade.
Fort save from Giles, please.
Slei is suffering from lack of coffee. And apparently has taken over Morgrom's dice.
Zigil's foe shakes her head trying to clear her vision, and strikes at the cleric.
stab Ziggy: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 - 1 = 31d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Her wild strike shatters the crystal blade she was wielding.

I'm assuming a coup de grace with nonlethal damage is not applicable here as the assassin is not helpless. So ....
"You have chosen wisely." Holding his sword ready to strike should the assassin make a false move, Zigil will place his foot on the handle of the blade, and attempt to slide it across the room away from the assassin's reach.
Zigil will also (if she can do this all in the same round) step or reach to grab a sheet or blanket from the bed with her other hand and pull it over to the assassin's hand. She never takes her eyes off the assassin, and at the end of round is still adjacent to her.
"Take the corner, and place both of your arms behind your back."
Assuming the assassin does this, Zigil will spend the following round winding the sheet around the assassin's arms and torso, and then tying it tightly.
