The Ash Giant's chest become an arrow pincushion and it roars in anger and pain, but it still stands!

High above, the woman cackles and then makes gestures with her hands and intones a number of syllables laden with dire urgency.

She spreads her hands in the direction of the door and a green , yellowish mist rises up from the floor , surrounding the area around the door. Where it touches your skin, it stings...as it enters your lungs...it burns!

I've marked the extent of the mist on the map with a green circle. All, please make DC 22 Fortitude Save

Milamber uses a Mythic point of power to use Wild Arcana to cast the Wall of Force in front of the wounded Ash Giant. The area of effect is marked on the map as a light blue region. It goes as high as the ceiling or as high a 14th level caster can reach.

"Come 'ere, little man" the giant drawls, reaching out for Hyram, "Gonna grind ya up!"

Hyram, you get an Attack of Opportunity against the giant as he tries to grapple you !!

The giant on the right of the great machine, hauls back and throws the large crystal in its hand, and is amazed then it shatters against Milamber's force wall, turning away from the explosion of crystalline dust. With a bellow of frustration, it turns and runs back around the machine..

Seeing the lay out of the room, and how many where within it, Iona took a moment to call upon Iomedae's favor. Her armor became almost weightless and Iona quickly moved in to support Hyram.

"Back off you lumbering creature!" Iona said as she entered the battle.

Sorry for taking so long to post. Also, if it's alright with you, I'm going to make the Will save first, since I moved into the room prior to her finishing the spell. Or at least the way that your post was written, I'm assuming I did.

The sinister whispers from the rift threaten to overwhelm his mind, but he is only just able to throw off the effects that threaten to overtake him as the woman finishes her spell.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 9 + 4 = 33

Aladir grits his teeth as the caustic mist materializes and he does his best to quickly get out of the burning green cloud.

Once he has moved away from the mist, he uses the abilities of his Celestial Armor and takes advantage of his invisibility to leap into the air, heading for the woman casting spells down upon them.

I think activating the Fly spell on the armor is a standard action, right? So that, then a move action to head towards her. How long do we have on the invisibility?

I moved my marker, but I'm not sure how to indicate that I'm using the celestial armor to fly right now as opposed to being on the ground.

You're all caught up with the saves. When your turn comes around next round, make another will save....as long as you're in the Rift room.

I'm going to move the maps to google drawing, I think there's more options available. For now, maybe just put a note in your header ie: Flying, 50' up.

Somehow my marker ended up going back a bit...maybe that was where I'd had it at first and then moved it again on a second consideration...anyway, it should now be where I want it to be. I'm going to stick to a height of about 30', mainly because I think a diagonal line from the floor with a 60' move would get me somewhere in the neighborhood of where the counter presently is. If I'm wrong about that, please let me know. Either way, I don't want to get up too high just yet.


To answers someone's earlier question , the greater invisibilty will last 10 more rounds.

Ursathella looks down at one of her Giant's getting ganged up on and frowns, casting out her hand once more and causing a swirling cloud of dark energy to settle over Hyram, Iona and the giant.

She flies at Aladir, he having revealed his location by firing a multitude of arrows at the creature! She comes to a hover hear Aladir, swiping at the air with her scythe!

To AoO you need to see the target.Even though Ursathella has a good idea where Aladir is, she can't see him, so in this case no provoked AoO!

Hyram is now Grappled! Next round you can roll your CMB vs CMD; on success you can escape or escape the grappler. Or you do anything that doesn't require two hands, attack at -2 or cast spell without somatic or material component, making concentration check

First his save vs the whispering rift...

The invisible Aladir swishes past Ursathella, leaving her peering about her, still thinking he was floating in front of her.

Once safely away from the lamia, he fires his volley of arrows....

With the fall of Ursathella, Milamber moves to the far side of the room where he heard the screams "Got you" and "put him down".

The vision of the giant grabbing Hyram influences Milamber's decision to cast Chains of Light at the giant who grabbed the Inquisitor.

The Chains of Light spell cannot be resisted. The affected creature must make a Reflex Saving Throw DC 24

Ash Giant Reflex save DC 24: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Pre-occupied with holding onto the invisible Hyram, the Ash Giant is not able to avoid the glowing chains that envelope him, immobilizing him....allowing Hyram to drop to the floor, free from it's grasp.

Ah ,that reminds me...Hyram, from being grabbed by the Ash Giant you have it's pus all over your....make a DC 25 fort save!

Once again cuts and slices appear on the Ash giant't body, black pustulent blood oozing forth. A comical perplexed look comes over it's face as it strains against Milamber's glowing bonds and Hyram's invisible blade ends its life...

The other ash giant looks on puzzled, he just saw his brother killed, still held upright by Milamber's spell, and he just saw and heard the death of Ursathella on the other side of the Machine. When all of his 'friend' are dead, he obviously makes a quick calculation...and turns and runs...straight into the Rift, disappearing in a burst of magenta flame.

Withdraw action for the Ash giant...

Combat over....

Now that the focus of combat has passes, your senses are filled by the constant noise of the Rift. You realize that if you stay in the room, you will eventually all succumb to whatever effects the 'whispers' may have on you.
