Jadger tries the key on his manacles. Does it work? he wonders.

DM Panic |

Hmm, I posted but it appears to have been eaten.
The man rubs his eyes and showers you with gratitude as the key opens his manacles and his gear is returned.
"Balenar Forsend, at your service."
He extends a dirtied hand before looking guilty for doing so.
"So what's the plan? Should we make a hasty exit before the trog chieftain upstairs realizes I'm free and his minions have been bested?"
There is a fifth floor above, but you do realize that saving Balenar was your primary objective and that the trog chief will be powerless without any troops at his command. The choice is yours to engage him upstairs, as the module awards the 1pp (it's 1pp max) for saving Balenar and not engaging the chief up top.

If we skip the final encounter, do we lose out on treasure on our chronicles?
Selima took a filled waterskin from Thirsty's pack and offered it to the now covered Balenar.
"You are our objective, of course, and we are overjoyed to recover you, sir. We will lead you to safety soon, but first, are you injured?"
She turned to her companions and asked the question that must be on everyone's mind. "Should we leave the Trog leader? I cannot help but imagine he will cause yet more strife if not dealt with now."

"Agreed ... we or our allies can deal with the chieftein at a later time."

"Yes I concur. I need to go for some serious training to conduct myself better." Jadger is swift to agree.

Thank you very much for the game :-)

Selima dips her head in silent agreement and they made their way out of the ruined fortress. Once they made camp, she pulled a few parcels wrapped in wax-paper from Thirsty's pack and handed one to the recently captive Pathfinder. "Please, you must regain your strength, Master Forsend." Inside were trail-rations, not the most tasty fare, but it traveled well. Thirsty received a large chunk of red meat as his reward for his devoted aid. After repeatedly sinking his teeth into slimy, stinking thing after slimy, stinking thing, he gratefully tucked into his treat with gusto.
Thanks for the game! This was Selima's and Thirsty's first actual adventure, they've been catching GM credits until now. I'm really pleased with how they well they performed. ^_^
Might be re-thinking color-spray... it worked well the one time I made use of it, but Selima is so squishy I didn't feel comfortable enough moving into melee range to cast it. Funny, it was my most valuable spell with my sorc I run in a Kingmaker campaign.

Yay! Thanks. So then I just print this out when I get some ink, and put it in my folder? This is my first ever PFS game (save the pregen I played on Free RPG Day this year, which I'm saving for level 4 to get full rewards)

For some reason, this one doesn't allow day jobs. :(
Actually it does. Day Jobs can be made with modules now. As of Season 5 Pathfinders Society Guide.

Oh really? Okay, well then if it IS allowed then here is my Day Job roll.
Day Job: Librarian: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Holy Daikitsu, why do you forsake me?
