Rakara follows up the knee block on the hyena with a quick downward slash of her blade drawing blood from the canine.

Dumah rushes to the far side of his friend, and swipes at the hyena as well, but the animal's leather barding keeps Dumah's weapon from adding to its wounds.

The two remaining masked figures maneuver into the melee and surround the elemental...

El's acidic orb flies harmlessly past and sizzles briefly on the ground behind the hyena.

Myron's kukri leaves a cut on the master's leg, causing his masked head to snap around in the halfling's direction. Oh my, aren't we a brave one! Even with the mask hiding his face, you can tell the man grins from ear to ear.

You cannot cast, move and then touch. You cannot break up your standard action to before and after a move action like that without some sort of feat (ie spring attack). Cure spells are not a "holding of the charge" type of spells. They are instantaneous. I think you are mostly trying to avoid the AoO so how about I just move you to H,13 instead? :)

Kheled enters the room to provide Rakara with some divine healing.

Not trying to argue anything major but you may want to read the section on touch spells and holding the charge. If you compare shocking grasp and cure spells I believe it is indicting you can use them in this way. It would be the same if was trying to use the cure to hurt undead with it. If I miss my touch attack the spell wouldn't discharge until I hit unless I cast another spell.

Sorry, yes cure spells are touch spells and you can hold a charge with them. However my main objection still stands. Similarly to shocking grasp, you cannot use your SA to cast the spell, then use your MA to move greater than 5' and then touch someone in the same round as that would require another SA to attack. In this case, if you wanted to cast CLW and touch Rakara you would have to move first then cast and touch. Or in other words you can touch a willing target(s) (up to 6) as part of your casting as long as you are adjacent to them when the spell is cast. If you want to cast and then move, you would need to hold the charge and touch the target(s) the next round. Agreed?

I didn't realize that that enemy was down, thinking the elemental may assume that enemy is dead and attack the one next to it in G/15? The spell does say it fights to the best of it's ability and doesn't have animal intelliegence so I was thinking it would avoid obvious attacks when possible.

I would think with an Int of 4 and likely no idea of the threat posed to it by the men it would need to be shown the danger before it would act defensively. *shrugs*

A second air elemental materializes and attacks the stunned masked men on the edge of the pit along with the first elemental. One blow is stopped by a nearly invisible force surrounding the man while the other just misses the easy target somehow.

The "Master", seeing the array of spells pouring forth from the party, grows angry. Enough! Cease your attack now or I kill this braying mongrel! He stands menacingly over Rakara with his weapons ready to strike.

Wow. :) I know Dumah has a readied action to attack someone falling into the pit but I'll allow him to decide if he wishes to carry it out given the ultimatum.

I erred in my post above. Rakara's injury from the shocking grasp is INJURY damage as it puts her at 0 HP I believe.

So, the so-called champion of the fighting pits of Sothis reveals his true colors as a cowardly gutter rat. Did hiding behind the spells of minions and threatening the fallen win you much glory? Myron sneers at the Master, hoping to distract him from Rakara and goad him into a mistake.

Correct you cannot direct them [to not attack] unless you can communicate with them. However, you are not without options, as Summon Monster is dismissible (w/ standard action).

Keep talking half man, the Master says as he presses the point of his weapon into Rakara's neck drawing a trickle of blood...

Here's a question back at you guys. Do you think laughing from hideous laughter counts as "strenuous activity" for the purposes of disabled/dying?
