Its karma making up for the drought we had when we first explored the place.

What I wanted to say was...
Unfortunately, not being the fighter type, Bjelich uses the handle end of his weapon instead of the sharp pointy end. The resulting sting from the morning star's leather strap is enough to draw blood...
Bjelich Dalibor
I remember there were some grumblings the other night about contingencies...
First was that Finwik needs a short bow, not a cross bow. Don't forget to upgrade rook :)
Grigor needs to blue tooth enable Gladius because running back to the parking lot in the middle of battle is not cool.:P
Based on the brochure from Lake Chaubunagungamaug (real place by the way), the campsite is famous for its Willo'wisps. The good Baron promised to read said brochure and let us know the best way to deal with them while he researches some missiles. In the meantime, we won't be recommending that campsite as the toilets were deplorable.
We left off still in Aldea de Lagarto (that's the Village of Lizards, did we ask the guards the real name of this place?), so:
- Everyone with strain should be back to strength.
- Those with injury damage, Bjelich had requested everyone with injury and not loyal to King Vestig to gather around him for healing. I'm sure that after a few minutes of dragging bodies or shifting to one side of the village this would be possible. He did roll this at the live session, but to be sure...
Last Healing Burst: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11
- We have been reunited with Kressle! She, and the other children, were to accompany us back to town, right?
- The last bit of house keeping is XP and perhaps some conversing with the locals. Bjelich wouldn't mind if they stayed within reach of our kingdom. While perhaps not as friendly as our Kobold neighbors, they aren't exactly hell bent on destroying us and may prove useful in the future. All they need is a regular supply of food to keep them in check; think rabbit farming or raising chickens. You know they could sell us eggs in exchange for beef or something! :) But then I'm known to be deluded and irrational :P

Updated to 4th...

Heading back would be best, no point in bothering the old lady until we have her mushrooms. I'm in favor of seeing that mission through though! So with minimal delay, lets head back out :)

Seeing as only myself and Finwick can use those wands (I believe) we should get only 2 3 rd level wands.
say 2 potions each protection from elements electricity.
Just need to know if available (Chad) and someone needs to calculate how much So I can take out of the treasury.
Bjelich Dalibor
Hey, if you can't laugh at what we do in the game, why play? :)
Bjelich can cast Resist Energy to soak up Electric damage. It will be cheaper IMO, to make scrolls rather than potions. Bjelich can make up scrolls to have on hand should the Whisps reappear. He can make one scroll a day, so to cover everyone will take 5 days costing 750gp. Last I checked, that was the way we were going to work scrolls - one spell per scroll, right? Combining 5 Resist Energy spells on one scroll would only take one day costing the same.
Bjelich will also want to have a scroll of Wind Wall or Glyph of Warding with Wind Wall on it. That will take another day and 375gp.
A wand of Magic Missile costs 750gp.
Bjelich Dalibor
Let me amend that, a wand of magic missile, caster level 3 is 1x3x750gp or 2250gp each.

These are fine.

Might I suggest adding a few potions to our list of items (Cure Moderate Wounds)...some of us need replacements :)

From the lizard king's person, the group took a magnificent trident, an exquisite set of leathers, and pair of gold armbands. From the leader's hut they added a coral crown embedded with lapis lazuli, a malachite statuette of a serpentine dragon, various furs
and 575 gold coins.Within the hut of the Wisp lay a trove of offerings in a pile. Mixed in amongst other mundare bits of "treasure" was a castle forged cold iron lance, an interesting looking tree token, a blue steel ring inset with a piece of jade shaped like a crashing wave, some additional animal skins, 3 citrines , and 119 gp in assorted coins.
The treasure was listed, but usually Kyras or Grigor handle dividing up the spoils...certain mathematical formulas are involved, taxes, administration and other charges are also applied. Fortunately, those in question are prompt - we shouldn't have to wait long :P
In the meantime, use what gold you already have in your inventory. There should be enough to restock any supplies you'd used.| Bjelich Dalibor |
Good news! I'm back up and running! Seems they accidentally unhooked us while hooking up someone else in the neighborhood. For a couple free movies and free cable for a few months, I guess I can forgive them. Did I miss much? :P Hmmm, I see something about Grigor...he's taken ill then, confined to duties within the settlement until further notice as well. That is sad news...

So I have a lot of gear on me (bedroll, sack, torches, potions, etc) and weight is becoming a concern as I notice it affects AC at a certain point. I'm pretty heavily weighed down by gold though - is there a way to leave it in the city when we venture off or do we have to carry our gold around with us all the time?
Bjelich Dalibor
The traditional way to negate gold weight is to convert it to platinum or gems. You can also transfer most of your gear to your pony, it can carry more than just you :) But having a secured cubbie hole in town would be nice too. Is there a bank of GMness?
Danna Laverton
We should be able to leave it securely in our fortress, we do have a treasury after all. We routinely take pack horses with us so if you like you can leave all your mundane items on the pack horses when we travel or even on your own pony. You just want to make sure you have anything you might need in battle on you, potions, flasks, wands, etc. torches and bedrolls you definitely don't need to carry on you.
DM oKOyA
I get an error about missing resources. Something about ShadowChemosh's concentration blah blah blah. Important?
Also, Kyras and Finwik (and Taldani) seem to still be 3rd level while Danna and Bjelich are 4th. I assume you will want to level up those behind.
Additionally, do we have up to date treasure/wealth? Taldani should have gear on par with the average party wealth.
Danna Laverton
Not sure, I will check back, but it may have been during a live session too. Most animals are neutral though I have to assume plants would be similar.
Found it! I did do a check (18) and knew no more than what bedlame told us. Perhaps we could ask around while back at the fort to see if anyone there knows any more.
Bjelich Dalibor
We did ask around. Most of the population is new, those who have been around know very litte. In short, we only know what Bedlame told us.
Danna Laverton
If only we knew it actually has eyes. Maybe we should throw a whole bunch of animals in there and hope it gets filled up and leaves us alone. or like i said if it is intelligent maybe we can offer a trade. Maybe I could turn into a bird and pick a few mushrooms that way. Just looking for other options here. Anyone else have any ideas? I don't really know what would work with a plant. Would speak with animals have an effect? Apparently spells that target plants don't work on plant creatures; Chad said wilderness soldier wouldn't work on it :( So maybe its more like an animal!
I think we should try all our non violent options and if none of them work, sleep on it and regroup with lots of offensive spells. Maybe it could be a type of pet for us. Guarding our mushrooms and letting only us harvest them... Then bedlame would have to deal with us and we could get lots of favours. If we destroy the creature she can come harvest whenever she wants.

You hurl a tiny ball of negative energy, destroying plant life either in a line 60 feet long or a 10-foot-radius spread. This effect removes the cover and concealment provided by trees and undergrowth, eliminates the movement penalties associated with undergrowth, and so forth.
You may also target a single plant creature with this spell. You must succeed on a ranged touch attack to hit your target. An affected plant creature takes 2d8 points of damage.
This spell is referenced in Pathfinder Companion: Sargava, the Lost Colony.

Sorry for the lack of posting this past little bit. Getting absolutely slammed with work as everyone is trying to get their projects finished before the snow arrives.
Also, I am out of town (with no cell service expected) from Saturday to Wednesday. Doubt I will have time to update anything before I leave. We will resume on Thursday.
My apologies again. See you next week!
