All unarmed attacks provoke. You have to have improved unarmed strike to not provoke (or some other feat/class ability to not provoke)

You don't get a penalty to hit so you're not fighting non proficiently.
Wear a spiked gauntlet and then all is good.

Clades, not to get too DMey, but only 1 studied target at a time. Hugs.

Well if you are going to get DMey then get it right.
A slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks attempted against that opponent, and a +1 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against it. The DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. A slayer can only maintain these bonuses against one opponent at a time; these bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target.
And since perception and sense motive are also actions, I was assuming that these checks would be over the course of the evening and not trying to do it all at once.

My comment is still right. You can only do it against one target at a time.
If you're trying to investigate and follow 20+ dudes in one night, I think you're missing the point. A sense motive roll in the idea of what you're doing isn't something you do in 6 seconds.
He'll, we are only allowed to interact with one person or search one area during our ship actions.

Yes but I am not trying to influence or interact with anyone, I am watching them from my bunk as they do their own thing to see who seems to be more of a dick then others, who seems to be spending too much time sending us sidelong glances and make mental notes of those people. I am not wandering around the ship or doing anything else. This should be something that can be done over the course of a night with who ever may be down here with us.
And since one of the slayers special abilities is observation based, this seems like a good use of this skill. It's not hard to imagine someone skilled in observation from being able to sweep a room in a short amount of time and make some judgements about those in the room.

@ Vanyel -- you can't just whip up healing potions... those actually cost money.
yes that is true, but my healing extracts can be used by allies starting at level 2.
Chirurgeon (Archetype)
An alchemist who studies anatomy and uses this knowledge
to heal is a chirurgeon. A chirurgeon has the following
class features.
Infused Curative: At 2nd level, a chirurgeon’s extracts of
cure spells automatically act as infusions, and can be used by
non-alchemists. When a chirurgeon prepares his extracts,
he may choose to render any or all of his infused curatives
inert and prepare other extracts to replace them (unlike
infusions, which continue to occupy the alchemist’s daily
extract slots until consumed or used). This ability replaces
poison use.

I realize you guys are playing scoundrels, and I have no expectations of any altruism or self sacrifice -- but no one here's "evil" either.
I kinda raise an eyebrow when you bring up plans for murder after someone (basically) called you a name and blocked your path. A *slight* overreaction?

I am not planning on murdering anyone today, just wondering what options there would be do to it as it may be an option for me in the future.
I am kind of treating this right now as a ship bound version of the HBO show Oz, (excluding the sex) I am expecting that things are going to go bad before they get better and I am planning on thinning out the ranks of those who have shown to be against me...Clades is an a!&@*@!

They press ganged us. This is like being in prison unfairly. Damn straight I'll try and wreak vengeance on those responsible.
Even good guys would be inclined to do that. Faeries, what?

I gotta kinda disagree... you're pirates or pirate-wannabes who got "recruited" onto a pirate ship. This is how they do things... and your characters should know that!
Kill to survive in a desperate situation, sure... but again, aren't your characters right where they want to be?
You know... pirates on a pirate ship?

All pirates are press ganged? Don't think so. Just ask WWCJSD?
Another example. Pistols at dawn for a slight on one's honor. How's that different? That make those guys evil? And that's for reals, yo. Not made up D&D stuff.

            What?
Apples & oranges, man... Dueling requires 2 willing participants, both who are aware of what they're in for. I never implied killing was evil. FFS, I'm in the military. My point was that murder is evil without righteous cause. Some bully shoves you in the hall at high school... welp, he's dead! I don't think so...
EDIT - in hindsight, that's a crap analogy too. My argument about murder still stands.

For me, it's not that they shoved us, they tried to delay us knowing that it's a whipping if we are late, that crosses a line from simple bullying/hazing to actually trying to cause harm, and that puts them in the 'them or me' category and I plan on winning that.
As for the fight last night, that's on the horcs, they started that and lost it, those guys are not on the list...yet
As for Fipps and Clades' instant hatred for him is simple, he can't stand bullies
