Round Three
Initiative Order: Heng [17], Harlan [15], Kelda [12], Parity [7] // Malnival [27], Hobgoblins [22]
Heng fights from the ground with a severe disadvantage, missing with all but one of his attacks. Harlan targets the female monk and easily dispels her blurring magic.
Kelda surges with a trio of powerful sword chops, hacking several deep cuts into her opponent. Amazingly, the leper keeps fighting despite its near-mortal wounds.
Parity hears Heng's call and steps up and over the railing, air walking just above the melee and slashing Suishen down. The blade cuts the female hobgoblin in the back of the neck, drawing a gout of blood and covering her in burning acid..
Malnival attacks with his scimitar, and that leper finally succumbs to its wounds.
The lepers counterattack. Kelda takes a scabrous hit, and Heng manages to avoid some of the flailing fists coming his way, but still takes a few kicks from the lepers. The female monk screams an oath to Munasukaru's glory and joins in the barraging of Heng, hitting him with her electric nunchaku.

Initiative Order: Harlan [15], Kelda [12], Parity, Heng [7] \\ Malnival [27], Hobgoblins [22]
As Heng waits for an opening, Harlan releases a healing burst over the group, closing superficial wounds. Kelda slices her opponent deeply in the gut and he falls. She follows up with two more chops to keep him down for good.
Parity swings Suishen again and removes the female's head from her body, which collapses in a bloody mess. With a follow through, Parity also cuts down the wounded leper flanking Heng, who takes the opportunity to regain his feet and step back, easily avoiding the remaining leper's fist.
Malnival leaves the stairs and turns the corner, engaging the final foe and leaving a bloody mark. The leper fights back, shouting a battle cry in defiance of his certain doom. Swinging wildly, he punches Malnival with one good hit.

Lastly, everyone that was hit by a leper needs to make a DC 12 Fortitude save to avoid contracting the disease.

Shrine of Munasukaru
With more time to look around, you take in the grotesque statue. It depicts a wiry goblinoid woman four demonic heads: one smiling, one angry, one eating, and one screaming. Each has long, straight hair and a mouth full of protruding tusks. The figure is obscenely pregnant, with multiple teats sagging over her swollen belly, and is shown giving birth to monstrous creatures, some humanoid with demonic goblinoid features, others wormlike with human faces. The statue stands over a bed of nails, scattered with myriad offerings and sacrifices.

Kiyomi smiles wryly. "I have no opinion on goat chili, master halfling. But I am intrigued by your mount. It is unusual to see such a fine specimen this far south. As for my goodness, I suppose it depends on who you speak to: I was exiled from my home because I spoke out against the Jade Regent. Apparently encouraging insurrection is now a capital crime. I fled Minkai ahead of the executioner's axe, then hid in the mountains for a time. The lepers here ambushed my camp and captured me a few days ago. They spoke of giving me to some goddess they kept referring to. I am indebted to you for rescuing me. As I am currently nearly indecently clothed and lacking any means of protecting myself, may I impose further on your hospitality by asking to accompany you? I may be of use to you yet. Standing in the black hakama and his protective cloak, it is seen that a great tattoo of a cloud bound peak stretches across his back and around his upper arms. Strange warding tattoos cover his shaved head as well. He bears more than a few scars including a jagged cut across his left pectoral and a puckered wound on his lower right side.
He rubs the silver medallion hanging from his neck and then runs a thick hand over his tattooed scalp. He speaks softly and precisely. "Thank you again, Harlan. I feel hale once again, but I am weary and surely you are drained from all the work you have done to mend our wounds. Kiyomi will likely need some rest before we move forward as well. Kelda Oxgutter *DM* |

Unwounded, Kelda waves off Malnival. She tries to follow along with the Tien chatter, but finally just shakes her head and gives Kiyomi a head nod. "I am Kelda," she says in Taldan.
Kelda is a tall, Ulfen woman wearing a rough suit of heavy chain mail. She is beautiful, with long blonde hair set in braids, but shows the scars of several battles.

Harlan Starshine |

"I'm feeling a little worn down, is there anywhere safe to camp around here? I could open up another hole in the rock somewhere, but I don't think I could close it behind us or make a very large hiding place."
Harlan scratches behind Skygni's ear then nods at his unusual companion.
"We freed Skygni from a cage on the other side of the mountains, and he's been trying to keep me safe since then. It usually works too."

Harlan Starshine |

Harlan fidgets as he waits for the others to chime in.
"Let's go, no sense waiting here. Everybody check the floor for your parts before we leave, no sense losing a finger!"
The halfling helpfully checks to make sure Parity hasn't dropped any of his limbs on the ground before mounting Skygni and leading the group back the way they came.
We suss out any good fortification spots on our way in? Don't necessarily need a cave but if there's a room we can use Stone Shape to block the door while we rest.

"I'm good, not requiring rest, but if Harlan is tapped, we should try and settle in. We will lose the element of surprise here, though, unless no one checks on these lepers. Give the bracers to the new girl as well. Hate to drag a body around hunting for somewhere to bury it."

DM NomadSage |

Since this floor is cleared...
As you ponder resting, after a few minutes there is no reaction to your recent battle. A careful glance proves the rest of the area is empty of foes. The door to the south leads to a drawbridge courtyard, forty feet square, its walls carved with more obscenities: bas-reliefs of half-human, half-beast creatures copulating with and feasting upon each other, creating an endless panorama of cannibalistic lust and gluttony.
Across the way, an archway opens into a broken-walled chamber filled with a repulsive pile of waste and rot, home to a large number of ugly fungi.
Another door between these opens to a large storeroom, well-stocked with crates of stolen food and barrels of ale and water. There are also piles of mundane items such as backpacks, fishing nets, rope, picks, poles, spades, flasks of oil, and a small crate holding five flasks of alchemist's fire. Kiyomi's gear is also here in a small pile.
Updated dungeon map sent. The store room is the eastern one, has only one exit and could be secured for defense/rest (if desired).

When he awakes, Parity casts airwalk, see invisibility, resist cold, and keen edge. If he can find diamond dust, he'll cast stoneskin as well.
