Oh g*! d+%n it... I had a post typed up, went to submit it and lost it when the site went down for maintenance... Summarized below
Travel time is going to be at least 8 hours due to a plains and a forest hex being between here and there, so I suggest we either get a couple hours of travel done tonight to give us some time to scout the place tomorrow and then attack early the next morning (about 4amish or so when sentries are likely to be most inattentive), or certainly leave early tomorrow morning, rest when we get close and attack at 4am.

Quentin Lovelace |

Before we leave in the morning, Quentin will be taking 20 using one count of his disguise kit (which gives +2) to appear as Haps as well as practicing his voice as best he can. Finally, once he actually gets to the camp he will case Disguise Self which will give an additional +10.
So because technically Disguise is still random, this will take:
(1d3 ⇒ 2x10) minutes x20= 6.66 hours. So he'll work on it the better part of the night before leaving and will finish up whatever's left in the morning/on the road as he does have a mirror and it would be minor details. With all that time to prepare, it will be a Perception check DC 28 to tell he's not Haps without Disguise Self, will be DC 38 once the spell is cast.
Now lets hope I get a decent Bluff roll. I figure the story of Haps coming back ahead of the group will be that one of the group (let's say O'Brian) broke his ankle in a gopher hole or some such and has slowed down the group and he (Quentin as Haps) got tired of their slow movement and idiocy and went on ahead at his own pace.

I actually already started with a horse as per the Pioneer trait, so there's one more that Svetlana and Oleg can have.
Also, Narkari: are you doing any sort of 'passive' perception for when we do not explicitly state we are keeping an eye out, or will you be rolling that secretly for us as needs be?

Narkari |

Yes. I will be rolling for you all when you are not activity searching. I will let you know if you spot something if you encounter anything. You disguise is in place and I will note that down. You are taking one of the brothers with you so unless you want him to slow you down you will need a horse for him or to ride with one of you.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that we are on the fast track for experience and for the first encounter you earned 150xp each.

Sorry to hold up the boat all, but heading out to my stag party here in a little bit and probably won't be able to post again until tomorrow evening.
If we want to move forward anyway: Quentin would basically just be approaching the camp and getting a general state of the camp from the sentry. I'll roll bluff here in case that becomes necessary, also I will be casting Disguise Self giving me another +10 on Disguise right before I head up to the sentry. Spell lasts 10 minutes so I'm looking to limit Quentin's interaction to that time frame.
Bluff if necessary: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

We are approaching from the upper right.

Hey guys, just wanted to throw up a quick post letting y'all know I probably won't be posting ICly today, getting married in a few hours here. Should be able to post tomorrow though.
Congratulations to you, and to the lucky lady as well! Have an extra glass of champagne for me. I wish you both a very happy rest of your lives together.

Hey Narkari: The post I did earlier (june 14th) when I said "4 am Ladies" was when we were leaving the fort. I know that does not easily read that way, but thats the way it runs with Alendiri talking to the bandit, endurance talking to his sword and going to bed then me waking them up, then traveling to the camp.
We discussed attacking the camp at 4 am on June 13th.
You can see both I and Alendiri being surprised at the action in the camp.

Narkari |

Before I get people asking me questions I thought I say why I posted what I did on the gameplay thread. I thought your plan was going quite well until you decided to walk right into camp. None of you rolled disguise checks or stealth checks to hide who you were or roleplayed that you were trying to hide your appearance other then Alendiri hiding his ears and Ranzo acting as if he had a limp.
I rolled for Quentin as he did not make another bluff check and I rolled a one. If he had succeed he may have come down before noticing everyone not being people he knows but that did not happen. As a sentry he is suspicious of everyone and can be assumed to always be having a ten on perception. He is close friends or associates with the bandits and this only adds to his perception.
Anyway, battle has started so please I'll be using the initiative I rolled earlier. Hope no one is mad if I appear to be the "evil" DM.

That works for me. My assumption was that Quentin was going to give us just enough to get in the door, so to speak, and then we were going to unload. So, if he passed the bluff check, that would have worked. He didn't, so it won't.
Although, could we get a map of where we're standing? I'm curious for ranged attacks.

Ranzo vonLebeda |

OK we got a bit cocky and the sentry rolled a high perception, no problem. I should have taken out the sentry, we just continue.
The other three should have headed for the break in the two trees, South west, where Alendiri and I headed straight south.
Where on the map is the tent, or do we know?

Endrance |

and a nice shot from Ranzo at least :)
As to coup de grace, what Endurance said, he's not really stealthy, if the sentry noticed our appearances he would have noticed an ambulatory tree sneaking up on the camp, so I had him wait further back in the trees.
Endrance. And it's not like it's that big a deal. We're level 1, one good hit from that treefolk is bound to smash up a mook regardless of the damage it deals. The bonus from charging and attacking prone was really good.
Heck, the entire concept of a treant companion is really cool. Another stroke of genius from Paizo.
