The main thing I worry about is that they're going to simply die en masse to AoE effects and I'm going to have to spend months training the next poor doomed 1HD puppy to accompany me only next seventh level adventure.
I did try to take this into account when I provided the druid level adjustments.
In this campaign though should you ever loose animal companion you will be able to replace it fairly easily with a an animal of the same level. Also of note, is that companions follow the same death rules as characters, so its much harder for one to die.
I'll put some more thought into this though, and may play around with some bastardization of the already broken Leadership feat to see what could be tweaked.
(Side Note: I'm on night shifts right now until Thursday. During the next 2 days I have doctor/dentist appointments which are going to eat up the little free time I have. At the latest, we will pick things up again on Thursday.)

Also, just a heads up that part of the next mission you will assigned, you will be asked for equipment which you feel would be helpful. The King-Chief hordes many supplies, so he might have what you want, but he quite stingy so only expect to get 1 or 2 things from him.
I thought I should mention this now so you have plenty of time to think about your requested item(s).

Foul Vaghdra |

Vaghdra bigbig priest of Hadregash now. You all fear or Vaghdra put in chains!
Vaghdra want a Vile Flail and Scale Mail Armor from mighty and gross chieftain. Also longspear so she not can't kill long ways. And crossbow. Plus crossbow sharpstix. You make gimme and tell Chief me Vaghdra or I eat you other ear! Plus lotsa shiny shiny. And.....

Tribe Loot
I just thought I should mention that Chigg has ruled that all loot found by any goblin is the tribe's / Chigg's. It is normal that when goblins return from any mission, that they provide their spoils to Chigg. This also gives Chigg a chance to intimidate goblins whom he feel may be holding out on presenting all their loot. Chigg quite enjoys making examples out of them.
I just thought I should mention this as there was loot found in the last mission. Chigg did not think to ask if the lizard had any loot, as it would be highly improbable for a lizard to have any loot.

Campaign Magic Item Availability
It has also occurred to me that I should probably tell you that magic items in this campaign will be quite uncommon. The few magic items that you will find are typically not mundane. Most of my magic items have a back story behind it -- but usually I am the only one privy to it.
I thought this was important to mention in case you were already planning out your character based on pimping him out in magic items. Walking into a shop and placing your order will not be an option in this campaign (well, okay once, but that's a ways off :)
I believe that by limiting the magic items, characters rely more on their own unique class abilities, while greatly valuing the magic items they do have. This also makes spells, like Bull's Strength so much more useful, even in later levels. I also took the limited magic item availability into account when I gave you all uber-goblin stat buy points.
I will also do my best to make sure I don't give out "god" items, and will nerf items on the fly if I think I over-powered them. (Now having said that, there are some artifacts coming up soon... they may come in useful where you are all going *grins evilly*)

I sent you a message, GM, regarding the weapon Bile got.

I've just run into a slight delay finalizing magic items for Quivrel and Dogdog. Hopefully should have everything spec'd out by Wednesday at the latest.

I'm still alive :)
Sorry again for the break. I'm exceptionally busy at work right and it's cutting into my free time. I finally got Quivrel his items and now am just putting something together for Dogdog.
Sorry for the frequent breaks, and I hope you don't loose interest in the campaign because of it. These little "bumps" will likely continue for awhile as I have a lot going on in life right now, but I will do my best to keep you all interested in the campaign.

Rules Rulings
After much consideration, I have made some decisions about some topics that came up in the past. Both of these really only affect Dogdog though.
Boon Companion Feat
This feat was recently included in the Animal Archive supplement. I have decided to not modify this. This will mean that at level 4, Dogdog will have 2 fully stated animal companions. It sounds good, but in my experience once animals start fighting foes with damage reduction, their benefits become negligible.
Scizore
I still don't know what Paizo was thinking when they stat'ed out this weapon. I am nerf'ing the stats of this weapon by 1 die step. (It really should be 2 die steps in my mind, but since you have take a -1 penalty to attack with it, I can justify only knocking it back the 1 die step.) Now it is on par with attacking with a weapon with a buckler on the same arm, although its much harder to disarm a scizore.

Hi Gobbies.
Please choose a saving throw score to increase by +2 as per the game play posting. Once this is done, then we are all set to move on.

All goblins are accounted for :)
I should be able to free up some time to get us back on track tomorrow.
At work, I have been doing my job as well as my supervisor's job for the last month, and this will continue until the end of April. As if doing 2 jobs wasn't enough, I've been tasked with a great opportunity to draft a change to a government act... which is almost a job all on its own. The next 3 weeks are going to continue to be hell for me. I want to do my best to keep you gobo's interested until I can put even more attention into the campaign.

Kor - Orc Scrollkeeper |

Hi all,
I am still around on the boards. I have gotten buried in doing some home reno's right now, and there really is no end in sight. One thing is leading to another. I have taken this week off work to help give me some of the extra time I need.
I do want to continue running the campaign, but for now it's best that I say its "on pause". When I have some abundance of free time again, I will check to see if at least half of you are still interested in continuing. I don't really want to put a time guestimate on when that will be, as I really don't know.
I do appreciate that many of you are still interested in the campaign, and I hope some (or all) of you will still be around when its time to pick up where we left off. I guess it was sort of cruel to give you all some great magic items, but no chance to try them out :)
I'll still drop in from time to time on this thread just to touch base with everyone.
Take care,
Kor
