Well how do you guys feel about a rogue, no one else has posted to replace Scar and I would rather get someone in soon.
Would increase our damage output, that would be good.
Depends on what we are up against - a rogue would make us very weak on the front line
Fighter/non-combative Cleric/Bard/Rogue/Wizard -- not the most combat oriented. If we are going to be going from room to room in the classic dungeon setting, then it will take a lot of tactical planning without more front line power. A rogue is great for lots of stuff, just not sure how he would fit.
I guess as long as the Bard/Cleric/Rogue recognize that they are going to be doing a lot of fighting, then it is fine.

A paladin was perfect I suppose. I hadn't really planned on doing a lot of fighting. More healing buffing types. Dunno
If the one being considered is Byron Radanavich, the one who has answered at the old topic, I think he will be enough, he is a rogue but quite melee oriented from what I see in his crunch.
Well I am going to tell him he is in. He is the only one that answered and has decent offense and defense.

I remind you that he was a worshiper of a god whose largest temple in the world is a few miles away with a paladin training school next to it to boot. You really want to loot that paladin, is that wise. XD

Yes its a empty room and you guys cleared the level. You only have 3 floors above left. Once you post going up the stairs to which ever level I will post something.
Your on the 4th floor in the room with access to the stairway. Hearing rumors of a newly opened siege castle you came to do a bit of easy looting. Using your skills you managed to get this far but have not been able to obtain anything of value due to the various monsters with in the fortress. Sadly your luck has come to an end when the party comes upon you.

I'd love to play Kingmaker be it with Deslin or some other character but it should be you who sees which APs look more interesting and fun. DMing is really tiresome if you don't enjoy a campaign.

What exactly do you want in the way of knowledge checks? Nature? Arcane? Just wondering - one way of doing it is just post a spoiler -- say:

Each knowledge skill covers certain things and from what I read the DC is 10+CR so for a CR 1 or lower monster it would be DC 11.
Arcana- Dragons, Constructs, and Magical Beast
Dungeoneering- Aberrations, Oozes
Local- Humanoids
Nature- Animals, Fey, Plants, Vermin, Giants, and Monsterous Humanoids
Planes- Outsiders
Religion- Undead
Think that about covers it.

Just out of curiosity: whats your plan for handing out XP? I've seen some DM's announce it after every fight and others keep track of it themselves and just announce when it's time for the group to level. However you want to do it is fine, I just wanted to know.

Going back a bit to answer the question about playing an AP...I would love to...I dont know the Carrion Crown, so it would all be new to me...will we keep these characters?
Carrion Crown is the 'horror' AP, and is set in Ustalav, the 'fog shrouded land of Gothic horror' (tm) :-)

That spoiler thing may become a problem as I use them alot to keep things neat. I use IE and never have any troubles of any kind with websites. So sorry I cant help. Never really understood why anyone used firefox to begin with.
I would keep the characters, allow a little tweaking. Anyways from some of the backstories it would be better to keep current characters. :D

Ooops...my bad. Sorry about that. I was attacking Trog #3, if possible. Still new to PbP, so I sometimes forget these things...I will try to do better!!
You guys can level up now that you have taken care of the trog. The level up wont take effect until you rest. So you can keep going or camp out somewhere, choose your campsite well. ;)

I dunno guys, I've still got spells left. Have we fully explored this floor? I think there may be 2 rooms left. How about we finish up this floor and if we dont find a suitable spot up here then we can go down a floor to the trapped room as Nngara suggests.
Where you are their are 3 unexplored rooms. The floor directly below you is unexplored because its locked and the last floor above you is unexplored. You guys cleared the 1st and 2nd floor.
