ROUND 8 (actual)
Bofus grits his teeth, and tries again...
UMD: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35 <--BAM!!
Caster lvl check against SR: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 <--BOOOOOOOOOM!!!
A green ray shoots from Bofus' extended finger, as the scroll evaporates. The ray encases the devil briefly.
Hah! Try running NOW, ugly!
He then steps up to the monstrosity, preparing to help Tomkin take it down.
Tomkin the Doughty
Tom sees the hobbit score a magical hit on the devil. He calls to his new larger friends. "We still could use a little help."
+4 AC for shield and +4 AC for smite evil vs the devil
He looks at the devil. "Kinda grabs you by the boo boo don't it."
Need to throw in a Cheech and Chong reference

Terilanyx, the bone devil, who is hovering in the air reaches over and strikes at Bofus with his long reaching claws while he contines to sting at Tomkin.

Round 8
• Tirion [hp: 34/46] casts scorching ray again on the wall of ice, burning its way through one square of wall to reveal his black tentacles still wriggling out of the ground looking for prey to grapple.
• Red [hp: 94/94] Delayed
• Tomkin [hp: 51/74] swiftly casts Litany of Righteousness, but is not able to overcome the outsider's spell resistance. The small paladin then strikes at the creature, securing two deadly stabs. The bone devil looks back incredulous that such a small creature can deliver so much damage.
• Bofus [hp: 52/53] shoots a green ray of dimensional anchor, ensuring that the creature does not get away this time.
• Terilanyx strikes at Bofus and Tomkin. The razor shard nails of its claw strike at the halfling clinging to the ceiling.

"Now you've done it devil. I have no more litanies against evil left."
attack1: 1d20 + 20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 20 + 4 = 271d8 + 20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 20 + 9 = 36
attack2: 1d20 + 20 + 4 - 3 ⇒ (10) + 20 + 4 - 3 = 311d8 + 20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 20 + 9 = 35

Tom attacks the devil three times with his weapon, but he is hampered by his concern for Bofus.
"Stop attacking him, I am your enemy. Come and get some more."
Then Tom heals himself with a quick touch.LoH: 4d6 + 8 ⇒ (4, 6, 6, 4) + 8 = 28
"I can tell you from personal experience, facing an enemy fully healed after you hurt him bad is disconcerting."
LoH left =4/8 Smite evil=2/3 74/74 hp
DM Harpwizard
With three quick strikes, the halfling drives his blade into the bone devil. The massive fiend glares with contempt at being trapped next to the small deadly foe, but he cannot stop Tomkin from dealing out his smite. The devil stares for a moment and then his life leaves him as he falls to the ground.
The combat has ended and all that remains is the sound of water dripping from the scorched ice wall and the gentle swaying of the black tentacles like the wind blowing through a grassy field.
Tirion Jörðhár
Hearing the devil's death cries, and hoping that his companions are not also injured, Tirion quickly dismisses the black tentacles (which only had one round left). He then moves forward, behind his taller comrades, to see what happened in the room.

Bofus drops from the ceiling and stands in the traditional victorious hunter pose, one foot on the devil carcass, elbow on that knee, grinning like the ships cat on a fishing boat. yeah, we showed him, dinnwe???
He winks at Yomkin, then grabs a hobbie's cloak to wipe off his glaive--but not his own blade!
Tirion Jörðhár
Once in the room, Tirion will do his usual casting of Detect Magic and then scour the room for anything of value. I assume Bofus does the same for more mundane objects.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 <-- with Detect Magic cast
DM Harpwizard
Once the battle has finished, Tirion takes some time to look around and scour the room for magic.
He notices the armor that the clerics wore radiates an aura of magic as well as some of their shields.
2 +1 Full Plate Mail Armor
2 +1 Light Steel Shield
2 +1 Heavy Mace
2 +1 Banded Mail Armor
Where do you proceed next?

Where do you proceed next?
I can't tell based on the current map where we haven't seen/gone yet
DM Harpwizard
DM Harpwizard
Moving south through the dragon cultist's lair, you reach a door to your south and a passageway to your east.
Bofus carefully checks the door for traps.
Bofus Perception: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (17) + 19 = 36
After finding none, he opens the door to reveal another storage room. This room contains many barrels, crates, and shelves heaped with all manner of mundane equipment and supplies. The most interesting of the supplies found are several cloaks with the emblem of the red hand embroidered on them.
Tirion Jörðhár
Tirion shakes his head.
Lets make sure there is nothing here. These vile goblin's who want to be dragons are pretty incompetent. They might have left something behind. Or, something might be hidden, we have seen that before.
Tirion will begin searching with Bofus.
Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30 <-- add whatever is needed if one of the Eyes can be used

Bofus gleefully broaches the keg and starts handing out mugs as soon as he can find cleanish ones. Might as well avail ourselves, eh??

With a slight frown, but no words of reproach Lorth politely refuses a drink.
DM Harpwizard
Wyrmlord Ulwai Stormcaller
Bofus does not detect any traps, nor is the door locked, when he tries the door handle, the door opens and hears a striking voice that is familiar to Rebel Red and to Bofus who eavesdropped on their conversation a while ago.
"Stop! I'm not decent! Doesn't anybody knock around here?! Give me a moment and I'll be ready."
DM Harpwizard
Do any of you wish to parley with a Wyrmlord or are you preferring to jump into combat with her? Do you obey her command to shut the door or do you take advantage of this moment and enter in. There are many ways you can handle this situation, but I will let you all decide. Maybe it is a trap!
Tomkin the Doughty
Tom will detect evil as he moves through the ethereal plane to appear right next to the lady with an elegant bow and flourish.
"Sir Tomkin, ma'am, at your service. Are you skilled in battle? Have you ridden a Great Wyrm? I am happy to discuss terms!"
Bofus Beerswizzler

thanks for linking that conversation. That was a great exchange!
Upon hearing the Wyrmlord, bofus immediately slips on and hides, knowing his friends are going to act...
stealth: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (17) + 27 = 44
Wyrmlord Ulwai Stormcaller
Tomkin appears in a small but elegantly furnished guest room next to a beautiful woman dressed in nothing but a silk robe.
"Sir Tomkin, ma'am, at your service. Are you skilled in battle? Have you ridden a Great Wyrm? I am happy to discuss terms!"
"My dear halfling, where did you come from? You were certainly not one whom I was expecting in this lonely cell. Now just wait a moment with your questions. Let us finish properly introducing ourselves. I am Ulwai Stormcaller. Now tell me dear, what brings you into the Fane of Tiamat? Are you a guest of the high Wyrmlord?"
DM Harpwizard
Poppy does not detect any evil or magic other than your own possessions. However, at the moment, the door does block your view of this charming wyrmlord.
Bofus, where exactly are you planning to hide? At the moment I am not clear if you finished opening the door or closed it as she commanded.
Rebel Red
"Do I not hear the dulcet tones of my fellow bard?" Red enquires from down the hall as he makes his way to the room, "I am afraid to say one more dragon has sung its final stanza since last we spoke"
Wyrmlord Ulwai Stormcaller
"Do I not hear the dulcet tones of my fellow bard?" Red enquires from down the hall as he makes his way to the room, "I am afraid to say one more dragon has sung its final stanza since last we spoke"
Suddenly hearing the company of a fellow bard, Ulwai changes her attention to the voice she hears calling.
"Red! Is that my dear Red coming to visit? Please come in, come in. Where have you been my dear? Our campaign has not got so well since we last met."
