:p Yeah, he'd blown me out of the water on collecting information. But let's be fair. His Int v. Mazatl's...
Also, inb4 Firebomb our favorite gathering place while we're all together. :P
Meh, brain was working today. Everybody contributes.

Maybe we should restrict ourselves to no more than 1-2 posts/day. It might slow things down but that is better than having a disgruntled skirmisher.
Aifric, where (what time zone) are you posting from? I am west coast US.
No, please don't do that. I am not disgruntled; I was just setting up my reminder that Aifric can give combat benefits to whomever he makes his Fulcrum. I was anticipating the group going back into the lighthouse, and I didn't want to hold things up by my own slow posting.
I am on the East Coast US, but we should all post whenever we can. Again, please don't let my earlier comment dissuade anyone from posting as many times as is fun for them.

Sigh this is so not going to work and we are hanging 2 party members out to dry.
1 to 4 of these apply.
a) It’s going to take days/weeks/months
b) First you must ____
c) You’ll need help from ____
d) It will require a lot of money
e) The best you can do is a lesser version, unreliable and limited
f) You and your allies will risk danger from ____
g) You’ll have to disenchant ____ to do it
a through d, and g are instant fail. We have neither coin, magic nor time. e is the best case I think though our 2 separated party members might benefit from f is we draw attention from them.

If you guys wish, now seems like a natural time for an End of Session move, to "wrap up the prologue," so to speak. We can use the move to gather our thoughts, collect our knowledge, and advance time past the traveling portion of your journey.
When you reach the end of a session, choose one of your bonds that you feel is resolved (completely explored, no longer relevant, or otherwise). Ask the player of the character you have the bond with if they agree. If they do, mark XP and write a new bond with whomever you wish. (This one isn't going to be very significant at this stage, I feel; it's still early in the game. Still, something to keep in mind for future uses of this move.)
Once bonds have been updated look at your alignment. If you fulfilled that alignment at least once this session, mark XP. Then answer these three questions as a group:
Did we learn something new and important about the world?
Did we overcome a notable monster or enemy?
Did we loot a memorable treasure?
For each “yes” answer everyone marks XP.
Level Up
When you have downtime (hours or days) and XP equal to (or greater than) your current level+7, you can reflect on your experiences and hone your skills.
Subtract your current level+7 from your XP.
Increase your level by 1.
Choose a new advanced move from your class.
If you are the wizard, you also get to add a new spell to your spellbook.
Choose one of your stats and increase it by 1 (this may change your modifier). Changing your Constitution increases your maximum and current HP. Ability scores can’t go higher than 18.

Let see
Hmmm it think my bond with Ryuko is rather resolved.
Bond: Ryuko is woefully misinformed about the world; I will correct that before it kills him...... Well that went well Mark XP?
hey look it fits Mazatl with barely a change.
Alignment. No magical mysteries so far unless learning the wolf-boss is shielded and a likely practitioner counts.
Group questions
1. Yes. We learned about political factions and where to get booze. This latter information is vital!
2. No....or maybe. We did not overcome the wolf men but we did turn the encounter in our favor. Ignoring for the moment the dead monk. So I suppose it depends on what counts as 'overcome'.
3. No ... wait a min. Chaney does have a new conversation piece, the burned board. While this is not a mega treasure it will certainly be memorable and important to the killers. So another maybe.

Svog Kos |

For bonds:
"Feustus magic is creepy and give me the chills."
Well, his raise undead magic is creepy.
"Chaney seems like a knowledgeable person, I'll trust his counsel."
Thanks to his ritual we found out some stuff.
"Ryuko is the perfect example of my epic songs and stories."
Is this still counts? I can sing a song about his adventures and how he died defending us.
And for group:
1.- We found some useful information
2.- No
3.- No

DM Frogfoot |

Mmmmmm, you're right, they are iffy, but at the same time I want you guys to get badass as quickly as possible within reason. Go ahead and take the 2 extra XP. Svog Kos, your XP bond with Kazuya can definitely be resolved. Consider it the monk's parting gift to you (along with his dead body for Feustus' uses)

Chaney |

We learned about the world and ran away from the wolfs if that counts as over coming but athena didn't settle any bonds so only +2 xp for her I think so not enough to level
+3xp as Frog Foot said all group questions we yeses plus any resolved bonds plus a possible alignment xp.
Does that make sense Flynn?

Aifric |

Alignment: Good - "Help your Fulcrum at great risk to yourself." Nope, no Fulcrum work yet.
Bonds:
"Svog Kos and I keep an eye out for each other." -- We haven't had the chance, but I'm not giving up on this bond.
"Things never go as planned with Mazatl around." -- Things didn't go as planned for Aifric, but it didn't have anything to do with Mazatl. I don't quite think that's resolved, though.
"Sometimes I think Feustus has a death wish." -- Still do. Shiver.
"Ryuko Kazuya can sense opportunity as well as I can." -- Not any more. Time for a new bond with ... Athena Flynn.
Athena Flynn is so quiet I never know for sure if she's around.
So +1XP for the bond and +3XP for the group stuff.

I guess, Since I joined late I didn't really do bonds so only +3 still not even close to leveling
I stole something from ___Mazatl___.
_______________ has my back when things go wrong.
_______________ knows incriminating details about me.
_______________ and I have a con running.

Mazatl |

'Kazuya is too serious. I would like to try to teach him that life isn't just about being the best. There's more to it than that.'
Pretty sure that's complete, so I can still do the 4 :P 'Life ends when you seek to be the very best at everything.' :P

The thief starting bonds are tough but remember they are only suggestions and are freely changeable in play. For example Mazatl stated she finds Chaney's magic creepy. That is excellent bond fodder. Mazatl could create a bond indicating her distrust of the possibly corrupt wizard while I could create one referencing Chaney's desire to "show her some really disturbing magic."
In fact I think I will. The starting wizard bond "XXX will play an important role in the events to come. I have foreseen it!" is going nowhere so I am changing it to "Mazatl lacks an appreciation of true magic"
hmm looking at my bonds I see it is time to clean house.
NEW bond list:
Mazatl lacks an appreciation of true magic
Flynn is keeping an important secret from me.
Festus gave me a hand when it was sorely needed.
Aifric is woefully misinformed about the world; I will correct that.
So first session down and only 2 of the starter bonds have survived.
