Ishta / Kardas do you agree with Ser Armithia it's time to smite?

Kardas Rasalas |

Yes. Kardas will pull a veil of mirror images over himself once Armithia shoots into action, if possible.

Ishta Khosiv |

Dramatically, this is not a bad moment to undergo the final and epic battle. If so, however, I say we wait for Azarra. She's been here from the beginning and, oftentimes, she's been the one to drag us through the adventure. She deserves to play this.

DM Fang Dragon |

Mmm OK. I was hoping to make some progress with the this when I was off work, too bad.

Ser Armithia-Seendren |

Ser Armithia goes with option #1!
In addition, while smite evil is in effect, the paladin gains a deflection bonus equal to her Charisma modifier (if any) to her AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If the paladin targets a creature that is not evil, the smite is wasted with no effect.
add 6 damage, unless considered evil outsider then 12 damage good-bye DR!
I am hoping it counts as a creature and winks at me!

DM Fang Dragon |

All right lets do this. Please can you place yourselves on the map, including Azarra.
Ser Armithia's sword flashes out, Cardona Junior regards it with mild surprise and he watches with interest as the blade smashes into the huge carved crystal throne which rings like a gong. A piece of the ghastly green crystal shatters off and with a sudden retort Ser Armithia is blown several feet backwards, and suddenly the figure who would be the the picture of elegance and refinement were it not for its grotesque fly head and shivering insectile wings, appears in a clap of thunder and sulphurous fumes! Suddenly it vanishes...
Mildly amused, Cardona Junior leans forward and remarks, "This should be interesting, my money's on the fly..."
Ser don't forget you have a very nifty sword.

A magus is too complex for me to want to bot beyond movement, so I'll give Kardas a few hours more before moving forward.

DM Fang Dragon |

Taken by surprised that Ser Armithia would attack the chair with everyone split, all Kardas could do was run forwards.
I've teleported Azarra closer too, otherwise this will be a complete farce. As a reminder Ishta had a theory about a possible weakness for the throne.
From somewhere near Ser Armithia a strange buzzing filled the air that sounded more than a little like spell casting.

Kardas Rasalas |

Kardas will wait for the caster to reveal his position, say by casting a spell and thus making sound (and per Pathfinder, many spells have visible components? whatever), and then hit him with a glitterdust. Don't care if he's blinded, just want him to be revealed.
Kardas supercharges his blade with latent arcane energies and whirls it in his hand, impatiently waiting for the otherworldly foe to give them a hint of where it might be.
Swift action: use 1 arcane pool point to make his sword +5 for a minute. Std action: ready (glitterdust, Will DC 15)

Ser Armithia decides to use the sweet ability of the sword on the area of the chair!

For each ongoing spell whose area overlaps that of the greater dispel magic spell, apply the dispel check to end the effect, but only within the overlapping area.
If an object or creature that is the effect of an ongoing spell (such as a monster summoned by summon monster) is in the area, apply the dispel check to end the spell that conjured that object or creature (returning it whence it came) in addition to attempting to dispel one spell targeting the creature or object.

There's a long discussion about pinpointing invisible foes here. So I think you'd need to be within 30' to pinpoint. If it was trying to be stealthy then you'd need a ridiculously perception roll since it's got a +28 stealth modifier. While that could lead to some entertaining shenanigans at the table, it would be really string out a PbP combat. It's kinda moot for now since Ser has just done something kind of awesome.
In a rapid staccato Ishta snaps out the words to a spel and suddenly she's surrounded by many Ishtas!
Looking resplendent in his armour and with great pomp and ceremony Ser Armithia presents his sword to Cardona as if he was letting the man examine it. Inside the helmet the elf grinned and with a sudden sound like ripping fabric the air is filled with static before returning to normal. The greenish lustre of the throne fades somewhat and cracks appear within it. Looking utterly stunned, Cardona Junior stares in horror at his surroundings before rolling off the throne unconscious and drooling.
Behind Ser Armithis appears a very confused half-fly, half-man demon. Powering up, Kardas prepares for a fight.
OK Azarra over to you!

Azarra |

So, is the chair out of service, or does it look like it is still functioning? Wondering about the "fades somewhat" part. If it doesn't look all the way destroyed/nonfunctional, then Azarra (still singing) will target it:
Azarra uses her hasted movement and normal movement to get closer, then she uses her normal action and a mythic extra action to lace magical words into her song, directed at the chair:
Crack. Crumble. Fade. End.
Weird Words Attack (Ranged Touch): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Sonic Damage): 8d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 5, 3, 1, 6, 1) + 4 = 30
Attack 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Sonic Damage): 8d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 6, 6, 1, 3, 6) + 4 = 34
Note that Weird Words is not a spell, so I should be able to use my Mythic extra action to use it again, and I hope the chair, as an object, isn't too hard to hit. (Down to 22/27 bardic performance and 4/7 Mythic power points)
If the chair is already clearly destroyed, then Azarra will target the demon... we can just say she does the same thing, but not sure it is wise, and might be better to shoot the demon from afar in that case.

Kardas Rasalas |

Std action: cast Glitterdust on the Demon (and not Armithia). Swift Action: haste self for 3 rounds for 1 arcane pool point. Move action: move closer.
Stunned by Armithia's actions, Kardas forgets to finish his spell. He then quickly realizes that he's supposed to hit the damned fly-man with a glitterdust, and finishes the incantation. With haste, he then strides forward.
Haste: 3 rounds (+1 dodge AC, +1 to hit, +1 attack when full-round attacking)

Ser Armithia-Seendren |

Ser Armithia turns to face the very confused half-fly, half-man Demon with a grin on his normally stoic elven face.
You don't think you're going to win do you.
The Holy Avenger hums in agreement!

DM Fang Dragon |

The chair looks to be made of sturdy stuff although it was assuredly damaged by Ser Armithia's dispel, or perhaps it's more accurate to say rendered vulnerable. Azarra's torrent of words blew off chunks of stone which fragmented into clouds of sparkling green powder revealing veins of some black ichor moving turgidly within, as if propelled by a slowly beating heart...
Kardas what was the save DC? Pretty certain 13 fails though!
Coloxus Demon, Will: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 <--- FAIL
The stunned demon was suddenly engulfed by a cloud of fine sticky golden particles which got everywhere, neatly covering every surface gilding it. Blinded it thrashed around in surprise!
Judge Tully staggered back in alarm, falling over a chair.
Despite taking tremendous damage, the chair wasn't done for yet. It floated up into the air and started rotating slowly. A sick redish light filtered out from the darkness within and crackling red lightings stabbed out to strike Ser Armithia and Azarra.

Azarra: Reflex DC 20: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33 <--- PASS
The fly demon's now golden wings droned as it rose unsteadily in the air and it screeched an obscene sounding spell, filling the area below it with a tenuous mist.
Azarra: Reflex DC 20: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33 <--- PASS
Azarra felt the insidious nature of this fog as it touched her skin, but she felt sure she could resist - at least for a while.

Judge Tully? I thought all of the regular people were outside now. I mean, I see them there on the map, but I thought we went through the whole thing with getting them outside so we could fight without worrying about them. ... or is he some undercover bad guy?
Azarra stands up remarkably well to the various attacks from demon and furniture, but knows she has been really lucky, so she goes all out again, moving backward to the wall and then trying to hit the chair hard and fast and remove it from the equation before it can destroy them all.
Her powerful voice booms out:

I forgot to remove all the people. For sake of consistency, lets say everyone except Tully left the area.
Ishta blew gently into the palm of her hand and she made a gesture as if giving the wind to the middle of the cloud. Instantly hurricane force winds ran down between the pews picking up dirt and powdered throne, sandblasting the wall behind. The demon's insidious cloud was instantly ripped to shreds by the howling wind.
Moments later Ser Armithia again unleashed his sword and once more the world was filled with static. Ser Armithia probably didn't intend for the demon to be able to see again, and likely neither did he intend for it fall out of the sky (it's ability to fly was largely magical) but both things happened. The spell had a rather more impressive effect on the throne, the top inch of stone instantly mazed with cracks and it took on a whiteish powdery hue. Clearly damage had been done!
Azarra's voice cracked out like a whip, blasting off chunk after chunk of stone. A nimbus of shimmering heat surrounded her, lending an otherworldly appearance. As the last word slammed into the throne, it was rent asunder with a thunderous crack to reveal a dark malevolence floating in the air, reminiscent in shape of a human foetus!
Kardas, it seems your posted action is moot now. Would you like to do something different?

Oops! I did forget about the Glitterdust blindness! Apologies, Kardas! I did intend to dispel the Fly...lol.

Azarra |

Azarra had no idea how to fight a little cloud of Jandark, but Silence seemed like a good first step. She didn't want him... or the demon... to be able to cast any spells. Hopefully Ser and Kardas could actually hit whatever it was... and if not, maybe Ishta could stand outside the silence and murder it that way.
She casts Silence.
(I think it takes a round to cast it, and guessing that haste doesn't actually speed it up, so not putting up the circle for now, but when it does go up, going to try to get Jandark and demon in it, and not Ishta.)

After her warning, Ishta stomps the staff on the ground and thrusts forward with it, a small ball of fire appearing from the tip of the wood and exploding nearby.
I'm not sure which things Ishta has might apply to the spell, since it comes from a staff. I'm guessing none, other than her own CL and Int, so no increased damage, no boosted CL, no mythic shit, etc. The fireballed area is marked in red.

Azarra |

Azarra takes another burst of lightning. She isn't feeling all that great, but she is able to finish weaving her spell into her song, and a circle of silence pops up (Green Dotted Circle... Ishta's is Red).
That took all of last round to cast, so now on to this round...
She wanted to kill Jandark with a dangerous intensity, but she couldn't move to him or shoot him without getting around this demon in front of her. What to do? She decided to try some acrobatics to get around it without giving it a free shot at her. She stopped singing and leapt into the newly-charred area, and into the circle of silence...
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34
Honestly not sure how good my roll has to be to get past him, but I am just going to act like I made it, and if I fell flat instead, just let me know.
She tumbles on to the cracked throne where Cardona used to be before he fell off drooling. She doesn't know whether her bow will work on the glob of Jandark Jelly, but she tries it, point blank, using her mythic power to make her first shot a Surprise Strike.
Surprise Strike (Trickster Attack) [As a swift action, you can expend one use of mythic power to make a melee attack or ranged attack against a target within 30 feet, in addition to any other attacks you make this round. When you make a surprise strike, the target is considered flat-footed regardless of any class features or abilities it might have, and you add your tier to the attack roll. Damage from this attack bypasses damage reduction.]
Attack 1 (surprise against flatfooted): 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 11 + 2 = 26
Attack 2: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Damage 1 (bypasses any DR): 2d6 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 2 + (1, 3) = 12 (the 2d6 is holy damage)
Damage 2 (Good-Aligned Piercing): 2d6 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 2 + (2, 4) = 11 (the 2d6 is holy damage)
In case it matters, especially for the second roll which doesn't automatically ignore DR, my bow is holy: "A holy weapon is imbued with holy power. This power makes the weapon good-aligned and thus bypasses the corresponding damage reduction. It deals an extra 2d6 points of damage against all creatures of evil alignment."
Bow is also Designating, so if I hit it either time, then "allies gain a +2 morale bonus on melee attack and melee damage rolls against the designated target for 1 round" ... so you still get a bonus, even though I am in the middle of silence and can't sing.

Ishta's fireball erupted with a stunning flash of violence, lightly charring the demon. It seemed to effect the exposed nexus of unlife, causing it to flicker momentarily before it resurged strong as ever. It damaged both.
Ser Armithia's sword hummed with power as he called upon Helm's judgement, and as it struck there was a brilliant flash of light. When your eyes recovered the unlife nexus seemed significantly diminished!
Flick flacking and tumbling in a way that would astonish a trapeze artists, Azarra evaded the demon and gained enough space to send a volley of glowing arrows which slammed into it, causing it to flicker violently!

Ishta Khosiv <----- WE ARE HERE
Ser Armithia-Seendren
Ishta Khosiv, Ser Armithia-Seendren, Azarra and Kardas Rasalas are up.

Azarra |

Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 (fail)
Flickering was good, right? Maybe it was getting weaker? She could hope. Azarra stood her ground despite getting hit by that lightning again and feeling sort of flickering herself. She had to finish it.
She shot the Jandark Jelly again with everything she had, which thankfully would be much more than the last volley since she didn't have to waste time avoiding a demon. Thank you, Kardas!
Attack 1 (surprise against flatfooted): 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 17 (designating and bonus from Surprise Strike)
Attack 2: 1d20 + 11 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 11 + 2 - 2 = 28 (Normal first attack - Manyshot)
Attack 3: 1d20 + 11 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 11 + 2 - 2 = 26 (extra from Mythic Rapid shot)
Attack 4: 1d20 + 11 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 2 - 2 = 14 (extra Haste Attack)
Attack 5: 1d20 + 6 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 - 2 = 26 (normal second attack)
Damage 1 (bypasses any DR): 2d6 + 2 + 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 2 + (2, 1) + 2 = 13 (designating, plus the 2d6 is holy damage)
Damage 2 (Good-Aligned Piercing): 2d6 + 2 + 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 2 + (4, 3) + 2 = 19
Damage 2.5 (Good-Aligned Piercing): 2d6 + 2 + 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 6) + 2 + (6, 6) + 2 = 27 (Two Arrows on this attack from Manyshot)
Damage 3 (Good-Aligned Piercing): 2d6 + 2 + 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 1) + 2 + (4, 5) + 2 = 20
Damage 4 (Good-Aligned Piercing): 2d6 + 2 + 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1) + 2 + (1, 3) + 2 = 10
Damage 5 (Good-Aligned Piercing): 2d6 + 2 + 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 5) + 2 + (2, 4) + 2 = 21
Down to 1/7 Mythic power.
Hope at least some of those hit. Oh, and ha ha ha... a possible crit on that last one.
Crit Confirm? (from attack 5): 1d20 + 6 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 2 - 2 = 20
Extra Crit Damage (Good-Aligned Piercing): 4d6 + 4 + 4d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1, 5, 1) + 4 + (4, 4, 1, 1) + 4 = 26

Kardas Rasalas |

Know Arcana vs 28: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30
As the demon chews through his mirror images and the swordmage's defenses start to falter, Kardas realizes that the nexus of unlife is about to explode. Its current volatile state can't contain what's within for much longer! "The nexus! It's about to explode! Smash it with holy power or run!!!"
He, however, is not one to run. Not immediately, anyways.
Full-round action: spell combat (cast 'Frostbite', -2 to hit but one extra attack, power attack, enhanced sword, haste) - auto success on combat casting because of Mythic Competent Caster - 4 attacks total, one at -5 bab -- swift action: re-haste self 3 rounds (+1 to attack, AC and Reflex saves, +30ft movement)
Attack 1: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36
Crit?: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21
Mythic 1d6 to perhaps make it crit?: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Damage 1: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18
Thundering sonic dmg *if* crit: 1d8 ⇒ 8
Attack 2: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22
Damage 2: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19
Attack 3: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30
Damage 3: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
Attack 4: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
Damage 4: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22
Spell Resistance if an attack hits: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Frostbite nonlethal cold damage: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Frostbite - no saving throw - the target is fatigued until it recovers the nonlethal damage (if any)
It's only after the arcane barrage that Kardas falls back.
Rules question: can you 5ft step *and* then use amazing initiative to take a move action? If so, Kardas would do that. If not, he simply moves and triggers the AoO. I imagine you can't.
Amazing Initiative - standard action: move (away 90ft flying!) - probably triggers an aoo from the demon if it still standing.

Ishta Khosiv |

Ishta nods when they realize the due situation they're into. She's not able to do the kind of damage needed now, though she has the hope that Ser Armithia is. Therefore, she'll have to wait until the paladin strikes once more...
"Come to me! We're leaving!" she cries out, rising her hand again and starting to pronounce some arcane words.
Ishta goes first, so hopefully her shout is heard before others can act. She'll move and take a readied action: cast Dimension Door at +2 CL (just out of the explosion radius) when everybody is in range and Ser's attacks are finished. In case it's still going to explode, you know.

Ser Armithia-Seendren |

Ser Armithia stands firm! The negative energy pulsating throughout his body feeling like thick oil coating his skin.
Reminds me of that time I signed up for a student massage. Holy Fumbles; that was uncomfortable!
The Paladin winks at Azarra from across the shimmering lich. The Knight then salutes his companions, before unleashing a full tirade of Holy Avenger action!
Melee Bastard sword, +5 Holy Avenger, smite, hasted, flank, Designating: 1d20 + 19 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 19 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 331d10 + 21 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 21 + 5 + 2 = 38
It was blessed by Helm.
Hasted Melee Bastard sword, +5 Holy Avenger, smite, hasted, flank, Designating: 1d20 + 19 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 19 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 351d10 + 21 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 21 + 5 + 2 = 38
It was blessed by Helm.
Secondary Melee Bastard sword, +5 Holy Avenger, smite, hasted, flank, Designating: 1d20 + 19 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 - 5 ⇒ (1) + 19 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 - 5 = 231d10 + 21 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 21 + 5 + 2 = 33
It was blessed by Helm.
Third-ary Melee Bastard sword, +5 Holy Avenger, smite, hasted, flank, Designating: 1d20 + 19 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 - 5 - 5 ⇒ (10) + 19 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 - 5 - 5 = 271d10 + 21 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 21 + 5 + 2 = 38
It was blessed by Helm.
Not certain I did that totally right? Not used to full attacking! I may be mixing my rule sets up with PF2e?
The Paladin then--swiftly--remembers that he can self heal!
Lay on Hands(Su): 5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 1, 6, 6) = 19 6/6
Ser Armithia then Steps closer to Ishta.

Ishta Khosiv |

So if Kardas uses his extra action to join Ishta, she'll teleport everyone away, out of the radius. If he can't make it, she won't leave him alone. Sorry guys, no one left behind!
Btw:
Concentration to cast defensively, DC 23: 1d20 + 9 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 9 + 8 + 2 = 29

Azarra |

(You guys, we are in a sphere of silence. Lasts for 9 rounds. I can't hear you, and you can't cast in here. I feel like maybe you could get across a message that I should dismiss my spell, but isn't that an action, and I don't think Azarra would choose to do that rather than try to keep killing Jandark when she doesn't really know why. Maybe we need to rethink this with the silence in mind... perhaps you need to cast outside the silence circle?)

Ishta Khosiv |

Ehhh... Okay, so no DD then xD

Azarra |

Sorry. If it is going to explode this round, not sure what to do, but if we have longer, you can get my attention, and if I know that Jandark is done for, I can drop the silence and we can get out. I mean, save yourselves for sure... if my character dies killing Jandark she will consider it an appropriate way to go out. :)
