You've rebelled against your master, Cardinal Adrastus Thorn. Can you kill him before he kills you? Who will lead the forces of Asmodeus in their final assault on the noble kingdom of Talingarde?
Draining levels? Why do you think that Judge was happy toying with them. He generally does not worry about such nuisances. Oh, and I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure that their howl would have REALLY hurt if anyone had missed the saving throws.

I love some aspects of high level play. I don't like the tracking of 50 buffs, the permanency of 3D movement and removal of many DM tricks (Light/darkness, ground traps, anything that is a surprise that can be scried/scouted).
I LOVE the plethora of abilities though. Jax turned into a lighting bolt. Burst through the air and exploded (damage at end of bolt) into existence, proceeded to (while floating in mid-air) attack four times while his blade sizzled with electricity. Awesome.
And yes -- I agree on the other stuff. I hate losing various DM tricks, near-universal flight is kind of a PITA. And my opinion of buffs is a matter of public record.
Not much, other than it cleans up space on my campaign tab. I am in several games and it just makes things easier to see on my screen when I am on a phone. And it is possible I am a little OCD...
Yeh, pretty much it removes it from showing up under the Campaign tab. Other than that, it does not do much. If nobody posts in it for 2-3 months, it automatically gets shuffled to inactive by default.
A spell that requires an attack roll can score a critical hit. A spell attack that requires no attack roll cannot score a critical hit. If a spell causes ability damage or drain (see Special Abilities), the damage or drain is doubled on a critical hit.
You must touch a creature or object to affect it. A touch spell that deals damage can score a critical hit just as a weapon can. A touch spell threatens a critical hit on a natural roll of 20 and deals double damage on a successful critical hit. Some touch spells allow you to touch multiple targets. You can touch up to 6 willing targets as part of the casting, but all targets of the spell must be touched in the same round that you finish casting the spell. If the spell allows you to touch targets over multiple rounds, touching 6 creatures is a full-round action.

Dren likie...to be honest I didn't think that Heal was weapon-like and therefore couldn't do double damage.
I think the rules indicate otherwise though. Good timing for a nat. 20 though it did burn a 6th level slot. Dren was just tired of hearing her wail about everything...
Note going forward: the general rule for percentage rolling is "low means something happened". So, if Blur has a 20% miss chance, the miss happens on a 1-20. I've occasionally hiccuped on that, but that should be the default rule.
I'm thinking to handwave through this particular encounter -- either you kill these guys, or they flee, without you burning any further resources. While it's mildly off-putting to have you just blow through a bunch of powerful life-sucking undead in this manner, the fact is that 40% of the party is pretty much immune to anything they can do.
So: besides searching the room, yadda yadda, is there anything you want to do? Any thoughts before we start up again?

Hey Judge, were you going to use haste? I should have asked before casting mirror image (would like to retcon and cast haste instead if Judge wasn't planning on it).
Ok, the Judge could have cast Haste, but the whole DD tactic just seemed like it was going to tick off the dragon even more. (Plus - DMDM has indicated a great disdain for haste).
