Another punch

Mesdoram |

Am I being caught flatfooted or are they using touch attacks? I know one hit me but I thought the other one wouldn't since it hit below my AC. Sorry, been awhile since I've played 3.5/PF, been off playing Shadowrun too long I guess!
Fortitude: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 191d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 20 Critical Confirm: 1d20 ⇒ 14 Revenge!
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 21d6 ⇒ 5
Mesdoram recoils from the rat bites but rallies to jam his sword blade straight through one of the rats.

Jasmine Rose |

Mesdoram |

Mesdoram cut the head off of the rat at I,13 (the one that hit you)
Mwa ha ha! Revenge!

Jasmine Rose |

Jasmine Rose |

Jasmine starts to sing,
"There's a rat in my kitchen what am I gonna do?"
There's a rat in my kitchen what am I gonna go?"
I'm gonna fix that rat that's what I'm gonna do,
I'm gonna fix that rat."

DM Cuc |

The rat on I,15 is smashed into a bloody pulp.

DAM Mesdoram: 1d4 ⇒ 4
ATK Four Skulls: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
Mesdoram is able to cut the head off of one of the rats and as he is silently celebrating to himself, he is distracted long enough to not have enough time to avoid the rat biting his leg again.
Four Skulls is able to jump out of the way as the rat lunges for his leg,
Mesdoram need another Fort Save
Heroes turn!

1d20 + 4 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 2 - 1 = 18 for 1d4 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7
get off the man that makes my lubch

Mesdoram |

I think you hit "-" instead of "=" on the damage, let me know how badly the rats have mauled me. I12 and I14 are the only ones standing and I14 is the one attacking me yes?
Fortitude: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Something tells me I didn't make that one.
Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 15 Attack on I14
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Mesdoram is annoyed to feel another rat bite hitting him from the water and pivots and slashes with his sword against the other rat menacing him.
Gods cursed rats!

Balthe Synder |

Balthe returns his gear and heads back up stairs with two of the huge rats in each arm.
friends of yours Mr. Plugg? he says as he throws them to the deck

Jasmine Rose |

Jasmine will search the bilge now that they are there. She grabs her dagger and cleans it, reshealths it on her hip.
perception: 1d2 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
she'll take 10 if permitted for here perception check.

Mesdoram |

Mesdoram will ask Balthe to stay below for a while in case there's anything in the bilges worth saving.
He also looks to Four Skulls briefly. I don't suppose you've got anything in your bag of tricks that could help with these bites?
I'd also take a 10 (or 20) if possible to search the bilges.
After everything's taken care of, Mesdoram will clean his sword, then store his gear in his locker and head back to the top deck.

Jasmine Rose |

perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
She will will take her time searching the area as long as someone is watching her back. It's quite impressive to see the elf rummaging through the garbage.

DM Cuc |

While searching you guys together find: a suit of leather armor, three heavy maces, a buckler, a masterwork handaxe, a vial of holy
water, a tanglefoot bag, two tindertwigs, 21 gp, and 12 sp.
I let everybody take 20 since you killed the rats and there is nothing currently threatening you. No problem Four Skulls, RL happens and as long as I know about it I do not mind botting it I have to.
Everybody makes their way back up to the main deck. Mr. Plugg glares at Balthe, Get back to work, he turns and walks away and starts barking orders at other random pirates.
Since you guys already all completed your daily actions, you can go onto the nightly actions. I will advance once that is done, I am excited about the next day on the ship!

DM Cuc |

This is purely for story purposes and it will not take up anybody's night time action
Jasmine starts to make her way over to "Badger" but before she can get to him Jaundice bumps into her shoulder, pushing her out of the way, watch where you're going sister, he then continues towards "Badger,"before Jasmine can recover. Jaundice says a few words and they then walk away together. Jasmine sees them walking towards a larger group of pirates with Master Scourge and Mr. Plugg with them. The other pirates are: Crimson, Conchobhar, Aretta, Fipps, Makeem, Slippery, and Tam "Narwhal."
Also do not forget about the rum you are suppose to drink.

Mesdoram |

Mesdoram sighs with relief, most of the discomfort from the rat bites gone after Four Skulls healing. Always nice to be sailing with a healer.
He laughs at Holgur's question.
I'm a good cook Holgur, but not even I can make dire rat appealing.
Mesdoram proposes splitting the gold amongst himself and his new friends equitably (4 gold 2 silver a piece I think) and using the remaining money to find something useful in Grok's store. He also wants the tanglefoot bag if no one else does.
Night time action: Influence Tilly Brackett
At night he tries to cement the friendship of Tilly Brackett, spending hours telling baudy sailor jokes before turning in for the night.
bluff: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Mesdoram surreptiously tips his rum over the rim of his mug when making broad gestures telling jokes and pretending to drink.

Balthe Synder |

Balthe drinks down the rum and helps Meso, by telling the story of throwing him out of the bar
1d20 ⇒ 9 assist with diplo

Four Skulls |

Night Time Action: Influence Rosie Cusswell
After dinner Four Skulls toss away his run when noone is looking and goes to sit with Rosie the halfling. You look like somebody who can handle herself. How did you came aboard to the Wormwood?
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Diplom: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Mesdoram |

Balthe drinks down the rum and helps Meso, by telling the story of throwing him out of the bar.
Ha! What he's not telling you about is the time he didn't release fast enough and threw himself in too!
Blather give me a Fort save please
That's an unfortunate nickname.

Balthe Synder |

Sorry trying again easier to repost than to edit on my phone
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Jasmine Rose |

Jasmine will mention to the others her run in with Jaundice, "Looks like the hard feelings are continuing." She lowers her voice, "Scourge has it in for us, looks like they will try to isolate us. That run on me today was just a start."

Jasmine Rose |

Without thinking twice Jasmine sip her grog, "taste like pi$$" She mumbles as she drinks up making sure she has caught Scourge, Plugg or one of the others attention. When she is done, she will mention to Four Skulls, "I've heard of divine magic that can purify drink or food, do you possess such talents?' The grog goes to her head quickly.

Mesdoram |

Mesdoram talks in a low voice to the volunteers around them after his time with Balthe and Tilly.
If they're organizing against us, who do we count as friends and who do we need to win over then? The captain and the officers besides Grok and Fishguts are probably out. Scourge and Plugg are tight as ticks and no Free Captain will stand for a first mate he hates.

Holgur |

"Maybe they look at us as enemies to rally the crew against. There is less chance of mutiny against the officers if the crew hates us instead. Plugg and Scourge probably give them the idea that they can gain favor with them by doing us harm."
"Something else, too. Harrigan said he does not want to have anything to do with the crew. He only passes orders through those two bastards. Maybe they got the idea that they can get the crew doing their bidding without the Captain being wise to it. Then they might make a play at taking over the ship."

Balthe Synder |

How about I just throw one of them overboard?
who has the shortsword btw?

Mesdoram |

I've still got the shortsword in my locker.

DM Cuc |

Jasmine before I forget, can you give me a FORT save
Also Balthe sorry about the mess up with the name lol.
Holgur are you drinking the rum? also what are you doing during your night activity?
If you do not want to risk using diplomacy you can always gamble some money. Other pirates have money to gamble with.

Holgur |

When the rum is passed around Holgur drinks it slowly and keeps his eyes wide open for Plugg, Scourge and their lackeys. There is no sense in giving them reason to dish out stripes right now. They are probably mad that the rats were not able to chew the group up.
After a few mouthfuls of the horrid rum, Holgur is thinking of tossing it over the side. Just as he nears the rail, he sees Barefoot again.
By Besmara's clam, why not? he thinks.
"It was worth getting waylaid and Shanghaied just for this tasty brew" he jokes while holding up his mug. "Where were you when you got netted?"
Diplomacy
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Maybe she won't kick Holgur in the nuts and push him overboard.

DM Cuc |

If you didn't have such a HUGE bonus to your diplomacy roll the results would be worse! lol
They got me about 6 months ago over on Quent, I was passing through there, to see everything that is devoted to Calistria. All I can tell you about that brew is to be careful with it. I will talk to you later big guy.
There was no change in her attitude.
I need a FORT save from Holgur and Jasmine.
I will not be on much today as I have only two breaks until I get off work at 9pm EST. They both are in the morning then I have sessions the rest of the day.
