Under normal circumstances, you'd be correct. However, these aren't those circumstances. If you recall, when "your" Rohan "died" during the initial nightmare encounter with the Raggedy Man, he had the elemental annihilator archetype at the time, not the onslaught blaster archetype he currently possesses. It is that version Liesel-Marie currently faces.

Rohan Scythe wrote:
Oh I am assuming that I took the full points of damage because it was elect attack not physical right?

Yes, Rohan took full damage from Nightmare Nyym's elemental jutsu due to the attack being electricity (which requires the appropriate energy resistance to protect against), as damage reduction is only effective against physical attacks.

Rohan

Rohan saw the creature and decided to move backwards, bringing him closer to the ground. He used all sorts of acrobatic maneuvers to move out of his way since he was on a wall.

The DC for the Acrobatics check to tumble would be 23 (Nightmare Nyym's CMD) plus an additional modifier of +5 (cavern wall counts as severely obstructed terrain) for a total of 28. While Rohan will be able to move the 10 feet despite failing the check, he will provoke an attack of opportunity from the doppelganger.

Nightmare Nyym's claw attack of opportunity: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
claw damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

After narrowly avoiding a claw swipe from his opponent, Rohan then proceeded to fire a barrage of missiles made of stone at the Nyym dupe. To his surprise (and dismay), the doppelganger dropped onto its back to avoid being hit, then seemingly without effort, snap back up to a standing (and still upside down) position.

Stealthy, that will not be a good thing for any of us.

Rohan was prepared for him to come closer once again. Of course, his words sounded really funny to anyone else near him because he could not hear himself when he spoke.

Nightmare Liesel-Marie

As the scion of giants dealt with his adversary, another descended from the roof of the cavern floor, this time behind Kytynna. To the horror of the elf, Nogusta, and Nyym, this turned out to be another Liesel-Marie.

Not wasting any time upon landing, the false Erutaki warrior snarled as it set itself upon the elven monk, greataxe leading.

Nightmare Liesel-Marie's greataxe: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35; -2 due to Power Attack
greataxe damage: 1d12 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13; +4 due to Power Attack

Her body reacting far faster than her mind could process what was transpiring, Kytynna's temple sword met the weapon with a resounding clang that echoed across the length and breadth of the cavern. As the other Liesel-Marie withdrew her weapon with angry growl, the elf tried not to show that the impact had, in fact, left her body trembling from the force that had been exerted by her foe.

Kytynna sustains 17 damage and is Critical at 6 hp. She takes a –3 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

And that brings Nightmare Liesel-Marie's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Liesel-Marie...

What attack of opportunity? Thats what the insane check for the acrobatics was for. It should have prevented the AoO??? I mean the whole point of acrobatics is to avoid AoO from opponents moving through or from there squares, other wise its basically a wasted skill.

Move through a threatened area=Opponent’s Combat Maneuver Defense | In addition, you can move through a threatened square without provoking an attack of opportunity from an enemy by using Acrobatics.

Rohan's check was a 34, more than sufficient to meet the stated DC of 28. Maybe you saw one of his other rolls when you checked his success or failure.

And this is what I get for trying to post after getting home from work at 2:45 AM. Note when it went live... 5:45 AM. I lost my original post after accidentally clicking a link, which contained all of the DC modifiers for Rohan's Acrobatics roll (that I thought I had posted, but apparently I only totaled 2). Yes, the DC was supposed to be higher than 28, but since that is the number that was posted, Rohan passes the check with the following change to the game's narrative:

Rohan

Rohan saw the creature and decided to move backwards, bringing him closer to the ground. He used all sorts of acrobatic maneuvers to move out of his way since he was on a wall.

After getting enough distance between himself and his opponent, Rohan then proceeded to fire a barrage of missiles made of stone at the Nyym dupe. Liesel-Marie

The Erutaki warrior spins around to face her new tormentor, bringing the greataxe slashing horizontally as she did, aiming at the false Rohan's torso. The doppelganger bent at the knees, his upper body nearly perpendicular to the floor to avoid the attack, before rising upright once more.

Irritated at another miss and not wanting to stretch their lines out too far, the bloodrager steps back from her foe, ready to meet his advance.

And that brings Liesel-Marie's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Kytynna...

Kytynna

Knowing she was in no condition to stand face-to-face with the false Liesel-Marie, the elf backed away, fumbling at her pouch with shaking hands. Kytynna found herself standing in front of Nogusta and next to the true Erutaki warrior, to whom she raised the potion flask that she now held before opening and drinking its contents. Kytynna takes a diagonal 5-foot step, then uses a move action to retrieve the potion of cure moderate wounds in her pouch and a standard action to drink it.

Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 3) + 3 = 14

Kyt is cured 14 points of damage and Wounded at 20 hp. She takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

Nightmare Kyt

Yet another doppelganger dropped from the roof to the cavern floor, landing lightly behind Aodhán. Die, ilduliel, it spat, using the elven word for nemesis, before attacking the bouncer with a flurry of kicks and strikes. Nightmare Kyt uses both a full-attack action to initiate a flurry of blows and a swift action to spend 1 point of ki to make a an additional unarmed strike as part of its flurry (for a total of four attacks)

Nightmare Kyt unarmed flurry: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (17) + 14 = 31
unarmed damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Nightmare Kyt unarmed flurry: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
unarmed damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Caught momentarily of his guard, Aodhán struggled to put up a proper defense under the fierce torrent of attacks made against him. He winced as the Kyt doppelganger's final strike, a kick, landed against his left side and caused his ribs to crack.

Aodhán sustains 31 damage and is Critical at 12 hp. He takes a –3 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

And that brings Nightmare Kyt's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Mesa...

Mesa

And as it became apparent that the very ones that she had been journeying with had run into something that proved more than a match to their efforts, Mesa played on.

But of course she does, came a voice, an intrusion into her mind. And when the time comes, you'll stop doing that only to make some excuse as to why you can't remain. You'll bail on them the first chance you get. Because that is what you do, right? It's what you always do.

And that brings Mesa's turn to a close. Next up is...

Nightmare Aodhán
One final doppelganger dropped from the roof to the cavern floor, this one landing behind the half-drow.

Nightmare Aodhán caestūs strike: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17; touch attack
caestūs damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

A caestūs-clad hand, limned with a flickering flame, reached out toward Nyym, grazing him lightly on the back. The bare contact caused the fiery radiance to sear the half-drow's skin, marking him with the very triskelion-like mark that the other bore as he turned to face this latest adversary.

Nyym sustains 7 damage and is Healthy at 32 hp. He takes no penalty on his attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

Nogusta

Using his shield hand, Nogusta gripped the angelic ankh pendant and uttered a quick prayer to Sarenrae. Once again, a wave of golden electrically-charged fire emanated from the Mwangi in a burst that quickly made its way throughout the cavern.

Channel Energy: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 6) = 10

The doppelgangers hissed as the light touched them, more out of annoyance than any pain felt. The members of Team Ruby, however, had a different reaction to the divine radiance. For as it came into contact with Nyym, a weapon that he carried, forgotten since it was taken from the chapel dedicated to the Lady of Valor in the depths of the Plague House, began to emit a faint white glow of its own that seemed to react and resonate with the Mwangi's power. The distant sound of a lion's roar could heard moments before the weapon crumbled into a fine grey ash that swirled away from the half-drow as if carried by the wind.

The members of Team Ruby are cured 10 points of damage from Nogusta's channel. In addition, as a result of a "crossing of the celestial streams", the group also receives the following benefits for the duration of this fight:

* lay on hands: 5d6 + 15 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 5, 2) + 15 = 30; Team Ruby is cured an additional 30 points of damage, with any left over healing serving as temporary hit points;

* the ability to use detect evil at will as a spell-like ability;

* immunity to disease (suppressing any diseases currently affecting it) and immunity to fear (ending any fear effects currently affecting it);

* smite evil once (+4 to attack and AC, +10 damage; remains in effect until the target of the smite is dead);

* +4 sacred bonus to all saving throws.

Any abilities not used by the time the effect expires are lost.

Nightmare Nyym

Not sure about what just happened, the half-drow doppelganger performed a rapid-fire series of complicated hand gestures before fading away from the sight of both Mesa and Rohan.

And that brings Nightmare Nyym's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Nyym...

Since I took too long to do this as an update for the previous post, I'll just leave these reminders here.

First, don't forget that the action to use the smite evil effect is a swift action, and that it automatically bypass any DR a creature might possess. It is also treated as a "good" effect.

Second (and finally), the channel positive energy and lay on hands leaves the members of Team Ruby at the following thresholds:

Kyt - Healthy at 41 hp, with 19 temporary hit points. She takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.
Nyym - Healthy at 39 hp, with 30 temporary hit points. He takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.
Liesel-Marie - Healthy at 40 hp (her normal maximum), with 30 temporary hit points. She takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.
Rohan - Healthy at 37 hp, with 28 temporary hit points. He takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

Nyym felt the burning hit to his back and whirled to face his attacker. Seeing the evil twin of Aodhen before him, the half drow silently cursed his bad luck. He held no illusions as to what this doppelganger was capable of having seen the real Aodhen's handywork. Aodhán, using his speed and mass, launched himself at the elf doppelganger, throwing a succession of quick jabs. And yet none found their mark, the false Kyt slipping each one, much to the bouncer's annoyance.

And that brings Aodhán's turn to a close, and ends Round 5. Round 6 begins now.... The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired.

Nightmare Rohan
The doppelganger watched as the Erutaki backed away, a sinister smile etched on its face. Turning its left palm downward, the false Rohan thrust its hand forward. In response, a column of rock shot out from the ground at its feet toward Liesel-Marie.

earth blast: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
blast damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 5) + 4 = 11

The fake Rohan seemed a bit perturbed about missing the Erutaki, but the moment quickly passed. It was only a matter of time before the other would meet her fate. Until then, the doppelganger intended to have as much fun as possible. And the thought of that put a smile back on its face once again.

And that brings Nightmare Rohan's turn to a close. Next up is Rohan...

The wave of healing refreshed the grazed Rohan and gave him more energy to fight on and keep defending his friends. He figured the best way to handle this would be to strike any person that he could from his position. He reached into the wall and pulled out 3 rocks and flung them at Rohan Nightmare, Kyt Nightmare and Liesel-Marie Nightmare. Rohan Declared Smite on the Rohan Nightmare because he is the biggest threat in Rohan thought.

I forgot to take into account the -4 penalty to Rohan's initiative check from being deafened 1 round ago by Nightmare Nyym's thunder infused kinetic katana attack (which was supposed to take effect this round). So Rohan still gets to keep his actions for this round at his normal initiative. Going forward, however, the initiative order has been adjusted to reflect this, as seen below. And, no, this does not mean that he gets to go again this round at his "proper" place in the order (because I know he'll ask, even if it's meant to be a joke).

Rohan
Ears still ringing from before, Rohan looked over the battle field. Of course, things were getting a bit out of control and they were dealing with more then they thought they would at the moment.

The wave of healing refreshed Rohan and gave him more energy to fight on and keep defending his friends. He figured the best way to handle this would be to strike any person that he could from his position. He reached into the wall and pulled out 3 rocks and flung them at the other him, Kyt, and Liesel-Marie.

Both the doppelganger Liesel-Marie and Rohan growled from the hits they received, though the scion of giants noticed the other him seemed less hurt from the attack than the false Erutaki. He also witnessed the false elf reach out and snatch the rock that had been hurled at her from the air with preternatural quickness before crushing it in a display of obvious contempt.

Nightmare Liesel-Marie
The false Liesel-Marie brushed away the residue clinging to the area on her chest where she'd been hit by the scion of giants hurled rock. With a snarl, she focused her rage on the champion of Sarenrae.

Nightmare Liesel-Marie's greataxe attack: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (9) + 17 = 26
greataxe damage: 1d12 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Nightmare Liesel-Marie's greataxe attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
greataxe damage: 1d12 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

Nogusta weathered the Liesel-Marie doppelganger's assault, having barely managed to get his shield up in time to ward off her strikes. The Mwangi's shield arm went numb; never had he experienced such ferocious strength like this before. When the attacks ceased, Nogusta peered over the edge of his battered shield to find the false Erutaki seething, her rage seemingly heightened by the fact that the champion of Sarenrae still stood.

Nogusta sustains 41 points of damage and is Grazed at 27 hp (he has 0 temporary hit points remaining). He takes a –1 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

This ends Nightmare Liesel-Marie's turn. Next up is Liesel-Marie...

Cute. Thank you for the link to the latest iteration of the map.

Liesel-Marie
Liesel-Marie, invigorated by the touch of two goddesses and not detecting any sign from her companions that they intend to retreat, steps back up to the doppelganger wearing Rohan's visage.

Goddesses grant me the strength to end this one.

She launches her attack, feinting to its left then swiftly reversing the bearded axe to makes an uppercut at the doppelganger's exposed off-hand side.

The smile on the false scion of giants face grows even larger as it stands rooted in place, making no attempt to avoid the blow.

The greataxe connects with a resounding clang, as metal hits stone. As the Erutaki's weapon comes away from the contact with the false Rohan's skin, the creature seems unaffected by the hit. But then its eyes widens, its joyous expression falling away, as the spot where the greataxe landed crumbles to reveal wounded flesh beneath.

And with that hit, Liesel-Marie has learned that the head of her tactically modified greataxe can bypass the false Rohan's flesh of stone elemental defense and do full damage. The same happened with Rohan's onslaught blast, but seeing it happen close up with a greataxe makes the experience just so much better, don't you think?

This ends Liesel-Marie's turn. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Kytynna...

I'm going to bot Kytynna this round, which allows me to take care of an error on the map. The elven monk should be south of Nogusta, as she had taken a 5-foot step away from Nightmare Liesel-Marie. Nyym, who also took a 5-foot step away from Nightmare Aodhán, should be beside her.

Kytynna
Feeling both physically and spiritually refreshed, the elf quick-stepped to the false Liesel-Marie and unleashed a succession of strikes against her foe. Free Action: 5-foot step to Nightmare Liesel-Marie; Swift Action: spend 1 ki point for additional strike; Full-Attack Action: flurry of blows; Declarations: stunning fist and style strike - shattering punch

Holding her sword in a reverse grip, Kytynna arced her arm around her body, bringing the blade down diagonally from right to left, before continuing to rotate her wrist and bringing the blade back around again diagonally from left to right. The unorthodox move caught the raging doppelganger completely off its guard, so focused it had been upon the champion of Sarenrae.

But the elf wasn't done just as she leapt forward using her lead foot to thrust the back knee straight into the fake Erutaki's midsection.

Nightmare Liesel-Marie Fortitude check: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29

The false Liesel-Marie instinctively brought the haft of her greataxe down horizontally atop the elf's thigh, just above the offending knee, allowing Kytynna to finish her combination with a right hook to the side of the doppelganger's face. The blow rocked her opponent, nearly causing its eyes to cross.

Nightmare Kyt
Angry due to the outside interference of Rohan, the elf double sought to take her frustration out on both the recovering Aodhán and the champion of Sarenrae. Free Action: 5-foot step south; Full-Attack Action: flurry of blows; Declarations: stunning fist and surge fist

As if in mockery of the Chelaxian bouncer, the fake elf assumed a stance that mirrored his own and feinted her opponent, causing him to lead with his right (and leaving his body exposed) before stepping in to unleash a series of short, stiff uppercuts that caught Aodhán over the liver.

Aodhán sustains 22 points of damage and is Wounded at 20 hp. He takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

The doppelganger, sensing her opponent's focus momentarily wane, glanced over at Nogusta before stepping back to gather the vital energy flow within its body, moving its arms in a sweeping motion in an effort to draw it out for the purpose of releasing it. As the false elf did this, a crimson aura began to shine about it, manifesting as glittering wisps of energy. The fake Kyt then cupped its hands and brought them forward in an attempt to release a coruscating red blast at the Mwangi.

However, Aodhán wasn't as out of it as the doppelganger had believed. The bouncer leaned in and delivered a short jab to the other Kyt's hands, knocking the blast away to crash into a distant cavern wall. We ain't done yet, the bouncer managed to utter between gasps of breath with a wry smile. I'm the jealous type, so don't go givin' your attention to some other bloke when I'm standin' right here.

This ends Nightmare Kyt's turn. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Mesa...

The detect evil ability functions just like the paladin's ability to do so, meaning that as a move action, the user can concentrate on a single item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is evil, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. Detect evil can be used to pinpoint the square of an invisible creature, but the invisible creature still benefits from full concealment (and thus a 50% miss chance).

Looking over the battlefield, she and Boo spot their invisible target.

Boo... I call upon the power of the Colonel himself. Mesa chanted, One shaft of light that shows the way!

Boo's talons ignited with flame.

FRIED CHICKEN SMITE ATTACK!!!

Eyes glittering as power surged within, the cockerel launched himself with a fierce cluck at the half-drow doppelganger, who was alarmed by the sudden attack of the fiery-spurred fowl. Boo delivered a vicious peck with his beak to the false Nyym, to the tiny Minkai's great satisfaction.

Toasty!!

And that ends Mesa's turn. Next up is...

Nogusta
Raising his shield despite the numbness of his arm, Nogusta aimed his scimitar at the Liesel-Marie doppelganger while calling out to the goddess that he served. Swift Action: smite evil

Scimitar attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14; +4 to attack
scimitar damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10; +10 damage

The false Erutaki, not fully recovered from the powerful blow to the head that it had taken from Kytynna, felt barely noticed the keen edge of the champion's scimitar as it cleaved through both the flesh and cartilage of its neck. It went to speak, but the words came out as a mere gurgle. The creature reached a hand to its throat, where it felt the sticky warmth of blood flowing from Nogusta's sword slash. The incredulous expression it wore became one of fear as a sudden realization seemed to have occurred to it. Straining with visible effort, the doppelganger managed to utter its last words while falling to its knees, eyes wide.

Don't... send... me... back to... him!

With an almost pleading look, the false Liesel-Marie's body sagged before fading from sight.

Nightmare Nyym
The false half-drow reached where it had been hit by Boo with a trembling hand, a hand that shook with mix of shock and fear. Feelings that gave way to rage as its fingers lengthened into claws. With a furious scream, the doppelganger attacked, shattering the cloak of invisibility that had shielded it from the eyes of others.

claw damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Feathers flew as the fake Nyym lashed out at the gallinaceous fowl, swiping first with one hand, then the other. To simulacrum's utter shock, Boo managed to avoid receiving any serious lacerations, the cockerel's survival instincts proving to be more than a match for the fake Nyym's desire to end its life.

Boo sustains 19 damage and is Healthy at 16 hp (he has 11 temporary hit points remaining). He takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

And that brings Nightmare Nyym's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Nyym...

With a roar, he struck at the other Aodhán, rotating as he lead with the left blade and finished the spin with a follow through of the right, as if attempting to cut the doppelganger into 3 parts.

The Aodhán doppelganger underestimated the speed and determination of his adversary, turning sideways to avoid the first strike only to be caught across the midsection by the second.

Nightmare Aodhán
After glancing down for a brief moment at the wound made by the half-drow's attack, the false Aodhán assumed a stance that was both lower and wider than before, centering his weight over his hips and feet. With his chin tucked, eyes firmly on the torso of Nyym, the Chelaxian doppelganger began weaving its upper body and head in a figure-eight motion, shifting most of its weight in the process from right to left and back again. As it found its rhythm, fake Aodhán picked up the pace and began to unleash a hook at the end of each figure eight. Swift Action: declares defiance against Nyym, granting him a +2 morale bonus to attack, damage and saves against Nyym, but lowers his Armor Class by 2. And because Nyym is a kinetic shinobi, which is Nightmare Aodhán's fated enemy, he also receives a +2 bonus on attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, and opposed skill checks against the half-drow. Full-Attack Action: full attack.

Nightmare Aodhán's attack: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (19) + 22 = 41; -4 due to Two-Weapon fighting penalty
Critical Confirmation: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (13) + 22 = 35; -4 due to Two-Weapon fighting penalty
caestūs damage: 1d4 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10; + 2 damage due to crit for a total of 12
Nightmare Aodhán's attack: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (14) + 17 = 31; -8 due to Two-Weapon fighting penalty
caestūs damage: 1d4 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

The power of the hooks, driven primarily by the momentum of false Aodhán's body weight moving through the weave as his hip, core and shoulder rotated, rather than with a simple pivot, as in an ordinary hook, filled the half-drow's brain with explosions of light as he felt the deadly onslaught of blows.

Nyym sustains 22 damage and is Healthy at 39 hp (he has 8 temporary hit points remaining). He takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

Aodhán
The Chelaxian bouncer used the back of his caestūs-covered hand to wipe away the blood that was coming from his mouth. Then with a hearty laugh (and ignoring the pain that wracked his body), Aodhán came back at the false elf once again. Free Action: maintain inspiring performer; Swift Action: activates smite evil against Nightmare Kyt; Full-Attack Action: full attack. Because Nightmare Kyt is a monstrous humanoid, which is Aodhán's fated enemy, he receives a +2 bonus on attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, and opposed skill checks against the doppelganger.

Aodhán's attack: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (4) + 21 = 25; -2 due to Wounded condition, +4 due to smite evil, +1 due to theme song
caestūs damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8; +10 due to smite evil
Aodhán's attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (12) + 16 = 28; -2 due to Wounded condition, +4 due to smite evil, +1 due to theme song
caestūs damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8; +10 due to smite evil

The bouncer began weaving his upper body and head in a familiar figure-eight motion, shifting from right to left and back again. Once settled into a rhythm, Aodhán began to unleash a blindingly fast series of hooks at the end of each figure eight.

The move caught the elf doppelganger flat on its feet, its body rocked with blow after unrelenting blow. There was no way this human had this much reserves of energy left in him, not after the brutal beating it had been giving him.

But the Chelaxian bouncer's eyes revealed the truth to the false elf. Aodhán was determined to take this pale imitation of his companion down, no matter what. And though it may mean his death, in the Chelaxian's mind, he couldn't have asked for a more meaningful one.

And that brings Aodhán's turn to a close, and ends Round 6. Round 7 begins now....

Nightmare Rohan
She launches her attack, feinting to its left then swiftly reversing the bearded axe to makes an uppercut at the doppelganger's exposed off-hand side.

The false scion of giants tried to shake that image from its mind, but in the presence of the Erutaki Warrior Princess™, it was unable to do so. And with defeat of her double, a tickle of fear began to manifest within.

With some reluctance, the dupe manifested a stone blade in its hand and attacked Liesel-Marie.

Nightmare Rohan's Devastating Infusion attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32; -2 due to Wounded condition
Critical Confirmation: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26; -2 due to Wounded condition
devastating infusion damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7; + 4 damage due to crit for a total of 11

Holding the bearded axe horizontal, with one hand palm pointing upwards beneath the haft near the butt while the other hand was palm down near the head of the weapon, Liesel-Marie watched as her foe came in, arm straight by its side as it simply rotated its wrist so that the stone blade spun around its arm at her. She raised the axe, using the long handle to deflect the attack.

However, the canny doppelganger casually tossed the blade into the air, putting a bit of spin on it so that the stone weapon twirled on its vertical axis while passing from one hand to the other. When it had settled in his grasp, the grim faced doppelganger deftly brought the blade back around to slash at Liesel-Marie, leaving a long gash along her right arm.

Liesel-Marie sustains 11 damage and is Healthy at 40 hp (with 19 temporary hit points remaining). She takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

And that brings Nightmare Rohan's turn to a close. Next up is Liesel-Marie...

Liesel-Marie
At the sight of flesh under the stony exterior, the Erutaki warrioress laughs and completely ignores the doppelganger's answering blow. You're like an oyster, waiting for me to crack you open to find the pearl! With a new fire in her eye, she shouts, Come, don't resist, let's see what you are made of!

The Erutaki holds the greataxe behind her, keeping the haft horizontal before quickly bringing it around from left to right in a wide arc across the false Rohan's midsection, slashing through the dupe's stony exterior to expose more than just flesh.

With a look of bewilderment, the doppelganger's hands immediately go to the wound, desperately trying to keep its insides from spilling out. A fearful look makes it way onto its face, and for a brief moment, opens its mouth as though to speak.

The Raggedy Man
Coward.

The word came not from the false Rohan, but instead from above. Looking up, Liesel-Marie and the other members of Team Ruby could make out what appeared to be bundle of gray rags, strips of something fleshier than fabric worming and constricting across a body that was almost humanlike — but too lean, and far too flexible. Gauzy gray ribbons reached out like tendrils, each grasping for less doubtful flesh to claim.

Your love for her has made you weak. But do not worry. I will kill her and there's nothing you can do to stop it from happening. Die with this knowledge, and despair. The creature's fanged maw then twists into a caricature of grin as it brings up a clawed hand and begins to gesture as though it were in the act of casting a spell.

False Rohan's eyes widen in shock, then his face contorts to show not only the pain he felt as something seems to push from within at the hands covering its stomach, but the realization that he was truly about to die.

First one creature, then another, bursts forth from the doppelganger's bowels. They resemble hairless blue lions, each with a pair of tentacular tails and dozens more thick tentacles quiver and twitch where their manes should be.

Eager to feed, the two strange felines leap to attack a surprised Liesel-Marie.

She takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level. She also notices that the strange feline-like creatures are not affected by her searing flesh defense.

And that ends The Raggedy Man's turn (who's floating 10 feet above where Nightmare Rohan stood). The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Rohan...

Rohan saw the fall of the Rohan Dopple and was in near shock from the grotesque scene of creatures crawling outside of his stomach. He shook his head from side to side to clear the image from his mind and prepare for the foes at hand. The Raggedy man already showing his presence but we still had other foes to deal with. It felt as though we were being out numbered quickly and the tides of this battle just didn't seem in our favor now that the Raggedy man had appeared.

Rohan started spinning what looked like a dust storm around him tossing the field of sand from hand to hand as each passing toss became harder and harder as a rock begin to form in the shape of a shuriken nearly the size of of a small greatsword in comparison. He decided that he needed to clear out the others before dealing with the raggedy man. He twirled the Shuriken from side to side building up speed with each spin and launched it at Nymm Dopple with extreme vengeance.

The presence of the Raggedy man made him lose his focus and while he wanted so bad to help it appeared that he just wasn't prepared for the sight of the Raggedy man. The Shuriken flew right past Nymm Dupe and slammed into the wall behind him causing some serious amount of damage and some rocks to fall from the wall but the attack failed to hit its intended target. He took a double look back at the Raggedy man who was more distracting then he anticipated.

Rohan
Rohan saw the fall of his false self and was in near shock from the grotesque scene of creatures crawling outside of its stomach. He shook his head from side to side to clear the image from his mind to prepare for the foes at hand. The Raggedy Man had finally appeared, showing more than just his presence, but the group still had other foes that need to be dealt with. It felt as though they were being outnumbered quickly and the tide of this battle just didn't seem to be in Team Ruby's favor now that the Raggedy Man was present.

The scion of giants started spinning what looked like a dust storm around him, tossing the field of sand first from one hand, then to the other, with each pass became harder and harder. Soon a rock began to form, quickly taking on the shape of a shuriken, one whose width nearly equalled the length of a greatsword. Rohan decided that he needed to clear out the others before dealing with the raggedy man. He twirled the shuriken from side to side, building up speed with each spin, before launching it at the fake Nyym with extreme prejudice.

Yet all the emotion in world didn't seem to matter, as the aim of his attack proved to be misguided. The sight of the Raggedy Man caused him to lose focus, and while he wanted so bad to help, it appeared that he just wasn't prepared to deal with the creature that had, until now, only lurked in his darkest dreams. The shuriken flew past the doppelganger, slamming into a wall beyond the creature, where it caused some serious damage.

The attack had failed to hit its intended target.

He did a double look back at the Raggedy Man. His being there, it seemed, proved more distracting than Rohan had anticipated.

And that brings Rohan's turn to a close. Next up is Kytynna...

I apologize for my absence. This past week (coming off of the beginning of tourist season where I live) really took a toll on me. But a week is definitely too long to go without posting, especially given that we're practically near the end of this chapter.

Kytynna
After a quick dip of the head in acknowledgment of Nogusta's aid, the elf turned her attention toward Nyym and his battle with the doppelganger of Aodhán. She quick-stepped her way over and, without offering so much as a word, began to unleash attack after attack upon her new foe. Free Action: 5-foot step to Nightmare Aodhán; Swift Action: spend 1 ki point for additional strike; Full-Attack Action: flurry of blows; Declarations: stunning fist and style strike - shattering punch

damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Holding her weapon once again in a reverse grip, Kytynna spun around clockwise, taking the sword behind her while arcing the blade to bring her long arms in a cross above her head then down to end the strike in a horizontal slash at the other Aodhán's right arm. As with the false Liesel-Marie, the unorthodox move caught the doppelganger completely off its guard, so focused it had been upon the half-drow.

The elf then pivoted on her lead foot to perform a half-moon kick, adding a slight arching of the back and a higher lift of the leg to give to give the move a larger curvature.

Nightmare Aodhán Fortitude check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26; -2 due to Wounded condition

Kytynna ended her combination with a right hook to the side of the doppelganger's face, as she had with the other. Unlike previously, however, the blow didn't even budge the fake Aodhán.

This ends Kytynna's turn. Next up is...

Nightmare Kyt
The elf double, still looking to take her anger out on Rohan, knew that Aodhán would interfere with any attempt to do so. With that thought in mind, Kyt decided to bring down the Chelaxian bouncer. Full-Attack Action: flurry of blows; Declarations: stunning fist and surge fist
Nightmare Kyt flurry of blows - strike 1 (punch): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
unarmed damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Nightmare Kyt flurry of blows - strike 2 (punch): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34
critical confirmation: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
unarmed damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13; crit for +4 damage for a total of 12

She resumed her attack, feinting her opponent to again unleash another series of short, stiff uppercuts over the exposed Aodhán's liver.

The shots, taken with all the other damage inflicted on the bouncer, proved to be more than his body could handle. Aodhán collapsed heavily to the cavern floor, unconscious and unmoving.

The doppelganger's lips, upon seeing her opponent finally go down, twisted into an evil grin as she glanced over at Rohan before once again attempting to gather the vital energy flow within its body, her arms moving in that unmistakable sweeping motion in an effort to draw it out for the purpose of releasing it. As the false elf did this, that familiar crimson aura began to shine about it, manifesting as glittering wisps of energy. The fake Kyt then cupped its hands and brought them forward in an attempt to release a coruscating red blast at the elevated scion of giants.

Nightmare Kyt flurry of blows - strike 3 (ranged: stunning surge fist): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
unarmed damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Aodhán sustains 29 points of damage and is unconscious at -9 hp. Next round, he needs to make a DC 10 Constitution check to become stable; otherwise Aodhán will lose another hit point, dropping his hit point total to -10. On top of that, the competence bonus that he was providing due to his inspiring performance class ability is no longer in play.

Rohan sustains 6 points of damage (9 total, but 3 are canceled out by his elemental defense) and is Healthy at 37 hp (with 22 temporary hit points remaining). He takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level. However, next round, he needs to make a DC 18 Fortitude check; otherwise Rohan will become stunned for 1 round.

This brings Nightmare Kyt's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Mesa...

Not sure what to make of what just transpired, the champion of Sarenrae chose to ignore the pair of pseudopods that had emerged from his back in order to focus on the newest problem.

Namely, the loss of Aodhán.

The Chelaxian's fall meant that his opponent was free to attack whomever it chose. For now, at least, it seemed satisfied with going after the one called Rohan. But Nogusta knew that could change.

He trace a sign into the air, then pointed at the false elf. Go!

A golden translucent scimitar shimmered into view then flew off toward its target.

spiritual scimitar attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14; +1 due to theme song
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

The false elf managed to avoid being hit by the quick spiritual weapon, despite the guidance of the champion of Sarenrae through his own gestures.

Any move the doppelganger sought to take was met by the glowing weapon. Yet he could nothing more than continue to direct the spell.

For now it seemed that the two were at a stalemate.

Nightmare Nyym
The false half-drow's rage continued to build as it flexed its clawed fingers. With a furious scream, the doppelganger attacked once more, lashing out at the pseudonatural creature before it.

Nightmare Nyym claw attack 1: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21; -3 due to Critical condition
claw damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Nightmare Nyym claw attack 2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30; -3 due to Critical condition
Critical Confirmation: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14; -3 due to Critical condition
claw damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Once again, feathers flew as the fake Nyym lashed out at the gallinaceous fowl, swiping first with one hand, then the other. And yet, Boo somehow still managed to avoid receiving any serious injuries, the cockerel's clucking and wing flapping proving to be distracting to the false half-drow. Especially given the presence of those acid-dripping tentacles...

Boo sustains 5 damage and is Grazed at 11 hp (he has 0 temporary hit points remaining). He takes -1 on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

And that brings Nightmare Nyym's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Nyym...

NO!!!!

Having just weathered a blistering series of blows, the half-drow caught the attack on Aodhán from the corner of his eye. Turning his head just slightly and seeing his companion fall, Nyym shouted the one word in defiance of what had just happened.

He had barely registered all this as Kyt quick-stepped in to assault his target, the nightmare copy of Aodhán. While it brought him comfort to have her by his side, he also feared the outcome should something not happen in their favor soon.

His head snapped back and emotion faded from his face a he reached deep again, this time letting Mesa's music wash over him. He didn't even block as the tentacles raised sinuously from beneath his long flowing white hair. Energy flashed in his eyes as he locked his with those of the false Aodhán. Moving deliberately to the side opposite of Kytynna as his eyes remained locked, filled with the electric spark of his rage at this copy. This abomination that had no right to assume this form. When in position that gave him the advantage he was looking for. Nyym struck and let both his rage and the beat of Mesa's drums guide his blades and tentacles.

The half-drow brought the blade from behind the the left side of his body, slicing horizontally from left to right. He then spun to follow the left blade, the right coming around high at neck level to finish the rotation. The act left him facing the false Aodhán just in time to have the pair of newly grown tentacles converge on the target.

Now you see me, now you don't.

As quick as his blades had flared into action, they were gone. And so was Nyym. He hoped that the last thing the doppelganger's eyes see in their last vision would be him vanishing into thin air.

And that brings Nyym's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is...

Aodhán is unconscious at -10 hp. Next round, he needs to make a DC 10 Constitution check to become stable; otherwise Aodhán will lose another hit point, dropping his hit point total to -11.

And that brings Aodhán's turn to a close, and ends Round 7. Round 8 begins now. Next up is Liesel-Marie...

Even in her rage, however, she recognizes the tactical problem of remaining between the two aberrant cats and proceeds to solve the flanking problem in the most direct manner she knows, but with a bit more attention to accuracy than power this time.

Wing icon means that character/creature is elevated. Rohan is currently 5 feet above the cavern floor (since that's where he stopped last and hasn't moved from that spot), Nightmare Nyym is 1 foot above the floor (having moved in an attempt to get the drop on Mesa [which failed spectacularly]), and the Raggedy Man is 10 feet above the floor where Nightmare Rohan (who is without question dead) was.

The icon of the man kneeling with arrows in the back is being used to represent the unconscious state of Aodhán. And because of his action last round, Nyym will be given the the ninja head icon to signify his current state of "stealth" thanks to his vanishing trick.

Even in her rage, however, she recognizes the tactical problem of remaining between the two aberrant cats and proceeds to solve the flanking problem in the most direct manner she knows, but with a bit more attention to accuracy than power this time.

Even though it lacked the intensity that the Erutaki normally applies with her swings, the bearded greataxe sliced with ridiculous ease through the creature. She then turned her attention to the one that remained, with each of the tentacles whipping out at the creature behind her, slamming it with acidic power.

With a satisfied grimace, Liesel-Marie backed away slowly toward the champion of Sarenrae.

I've thought long and hard about how exactly I should approach this. I didn't want to come across as too harsh with what I would say; after all, words aren't always conveyed properly on the interwebs sometimes and that has happened more often than I would like over the course of this game. So here's what I'm going to do...

Here is the link for the current map. For the sake of clarity, the word "link" is hyper-linked in the previous sentence (just as I've been doing with the word "map" in the posts where it states that the map has been updated). I want Rohan's player to look it over and redo their post, but only after reading Liesel-Marie's action for Round 8 (the current round) and the responses after. I'm giving the player the opportunity for a do-over, and I advise them to take advantage of it. I'm doing this mainly because I want to be fair about the situation. Perhaps I could have been more clear about something, anything, with regard to my posts. And if I wasn't, then that falls squarely on me. And if that is indeed the case, then I'll strive to do better as this continues.

Edit: It seems that I forgot about having Rohan make a DC 18 Fortitude save against Nightmare Kyt's stunning surge fist. He'll need to do that first. Failure to make the save results in Rohan being stunned for 1 round.

Whats wrong with targeting nymm Dupe. We are going to need everyone to focus on the raggedy man but these little guys can do massive damage to us from behind. After looking at the map and seeing that Liesel took massive damage from the raggedy man, My action are still the same. Nymm Dupe has to go, so we don't get ambushed from behind constantly. So we can focus our attention on the boss. However I will add a movement.

Rohan makes his attack at nymm dupe and then moves off the wall and towards Liesel and puts himself in front of liesel and the Raggedy man. Now within 5ft of the raggedy man north 1 square and right 1 square position. 1 square below liesel.

I was not questioning your decision. What I was doing was giving you the opportunity to make a more informed decision because (based on your previous post), you were acting on more limited information than everyone else was at the time. If you, as the player, feel you've made the right choice with regard to Rohan's action, then so be it. The matter is closed and we shall proceed with the rest of the round.

The scion of giants sent forth a swarm of stone shuriken at the false half-drow. He watched with a sense of satisfaction as each struck with devastating effect before the other Nyym faded from view.

Rohan, ignoring the glare given him by the gallinaceous fowl, moved off the wall and toward Liesel-Marie, where he put himself in front of the bloodied Erutaki to face the hovering Raggedy Man.

And that ends Rohan's turn. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Kytynna...

Kyt stood there and looked around at her team. A rest was sorely needed. It would not be till the Raggedy Man went down.

Even though her other was not yet dealt with, there was a bigger fish to fry. She had not yet used her smite, the gift given that she had held on to, and planned on doing so now. It mattered not the order in which they fell. Only that they fall. Maybe, just maybe, if he went down first... well then so would his puppet. There is lore of monsters that perish should their master pass on.

Here’s hoping...

Looking up towards the Raggedy Man, her blood boiling, she made her way to stand next to Liesel-Marie (to the right if you’re looking at the map). Her plan to put that swift gift to good use. No statement, no battle cry, only silence.

Looking up towards the Raggedy Man, her blood boiling, she made her way to stand next to Nogusta. Her plan was to put that gift to good use. No statement, no battle cry, only silence.

She watched her attack fly toward her target. The evil one that was the bane of her group's existence. Her lower lip bit between her teeth as she awaited the outcome of her attack.

Kytynna did not have long to wait.

First one, then the next blast slammed into her foe, each sounding like waves crashing against rocks on shore. And then the elf saw it, a flicker of an expression that she had never seen the creature make in their previous encounter.

Pain.

The Raggedy Man had felt pain, which meant that it had been hurt. And if it could be hurt, then that meant it could also be killed.

Nightmare Kyt
Meanwhile, Kytynna's doppelganger, having witnessed the fall of its own teammates, understood fully the peril that it was currently in. The bald one's golden scimitar would prevent it from delivering the final blow to the fallen one, just as surely as the weapon would keep it from attacking him directly.

The false Kyt watched the Mwangi carefully. It didn't take long for the doppelganger to realize that because the bald one had to direct the translucent blade's actions, there was a chance it could move faster than the human could react. The fake elf decided to put this observation to the test.

It dashed south, away from both the golden scimitar and the one directing the blade. Her gamble paid off, the bald one being unable to react fast enough to have the blade give chase. With a satisfied smirk, the fake Kyt then turned, bearing down on the now vulnerable scion of giants. Move Action: Nightmare Kyt moves south 10 feet, then across 5 to attack Rohan. Standard Action: Unarmed Strike to Rohan. Declaration: stunning fist.

Nightmare Kyt's Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20
unarmed strike damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

The doppelganger leapt into the air, as though it were performing a kick, and, in the process, brought Rohan's eyes to its legs. But in so doing, the scion of giants failed to notice that even as the false Kyt was kicking backwards with one leg, it had simultaneously thrown a stiff cross that connected squarely on the side of his face.

Rohan sustains 3 points of damage (6 total, but 3 are canceled out by his elemental defense) and is Healthy at 37 hp (with 19 temporary hit points remaining). He takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level. However, next round, he needs to make a DC 18 Fortitude check; otherwise Rohan will become stunned for 1 round.

And that ends Nightmare Kyt's turn. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Mesa...

Mesa narrowed her eyes as she played, Boo returning to her side as she moved upright behind Aodhán still maintaining the music that gave the mutation. A quick glance to the fallen man allowed her to gauge she had time for one other thing before she needed to help him.

Her gaze lifted to the Raggedy Man as she considered before smirking.

Quick Note: In my post dealing with Kytynna's actions for the round, I altered her post to accommodate the player's wish to be able to do a full-attack action on the Raggedy Man by having her take a 5-foot step that put the elf beside Nogusta, rather than the movement that would have placed Kytynna next to Liesel-Marie as the player originally posted.

Now, with that out of the way, we continue on with the round...

Antagonist: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Liesel-Marie: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Mesa
Mesa narrowed her eyes as she played, Boo returning to her side as she moved upright behind Aodhán still maintaining the music that gave the mutation. A quick glance to the fallen man allowed her to gauge she had time for one other thing before she needed to help him.

Her gaze lifted to the Raggedy Man as she considered before smirking.

One golden glance of what should be...

A bright explosion of sparkling light seems to burst from close behind the Raggedy man painting the area around him with glitter.

Raggedy Man's Will save: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21

Though the Raggedy Man successfully made its Will save to keep from being blinded, it is covered with glittering gold particles. This will be represented by the glowing man icon. The spell will impose a -20 on any Stealth checks that it might choose to make (yes, I know that normally the penalty is -40, but I've also ruled that invisibility only grants a +20 to Stealth when standing still, +10 when moving in accordance with the onsite Stealth playtest that was done a few years back). Because of Mesa's positioning of the spell, the glitterdust only affect the Raggedy Man.

Nogusta
Momentarily caught off his guard by the false Kyt's display of quickness, the champion of Sarenrae made a gesture that sent sent that golden scimitar after its target. Move Action: directing the spiritual weapon to attack Nightmare Kyt

spiritual weapon attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12; +1 due to theme song
spiritual weapon damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Once again, the false elf managed to avoid being hit by the golden spiritual weapon. But that only served as a distraction for Nogusta as prepared to aid his companions by opening himself up once again as a divine conduit so that the champion, his form limned with a crackling aura of golden energy, could channel one last burst of healing. Standard Action: channel positive energy; Declaration: Selective to prevent Nightmare Kyt and the Raggedy Man being healed as well

Channel Positive Energy: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6) = 12

The members of Team Ruby who have taken damage in excess of the temporary hits granted them are cured 12 points of damage from Nogusta's channel. Currently, Liesel-Marie is Wounded with 24 hit points. She takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level. Aodhán is now both conscious and Critical with 2 hit points. He takes a -3 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level. Boo is Healthy at 16 hp. He takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level. And finally, Nogusta is Healthy at 38 hp. He takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

And that brings Nogusta's turn to a close. The map has been updated to take into account what has transpired. Next up is Nyym...

Nyym had to move swiftly if he was gonna take advantage of his invisible state and the confusion of the situation. Nogusta was trying his best to keep the members of team Ruby on their feet. But the sheer damage output from their opponents was taking its toll on the weary defenders. That being said, His companions and himself had managed to drop all but one duplicate. Nightmare Kyt had proved more then a match for Aodhen and now although Nyym wanted to take the fight to the Raggedy Man. Nightmare Kyt needed to be taken care of 1st. Seeing Rohan fall victim to her stunning blow, he made his decision and moved on Nightmare Kyt. The Raggedy Man would have to wait.

I hope this works.

Although it wont set up flank with Rohan, Nyym moves to the opposite side of Nightmare Kyt from Rohan.

Looks like Nightmare Kyt needs to make that Perception check to see if it can notice stealth mode Nyym. The DC to beat is 30 (originally 40, but Nyym moved this round and that brings it down by 10).

As Nyym approached his new target. Nightmare Kyt had not given any indication that she was aware of the new threat to her. This was good as it gave him complete surprise. So into her target, Rohan, she was oblivious to other threats lurking. The irony of it almost made Nyym laugh, but he held it.

Rohan always seemed to be trying to impress the ladies. Now he has one who is completely focused on him. Though not in a way that he would enjoy no doupt. In fact I'm sure this is one he would willing do without ,I am sure. Guess that age old adage, "be careful what you wish for" has more meaning then even Rohan could have anticipated."

Nyym struck hard and fast, forming is blade in a reverse position, from bottom to to her head..
