Jerin was talking about Majenko checking out the crack to see if the creatures might be in there,
"The man-sized crack cuts deep into the rock behind the wall and wisps of thin white smoke issue forth. The tunnel continues on and turns left"
not sure if what I am sugesting has anything to do with the perception check...if the crack obviously dead ends then I wouldn't bother and we can move on.

The Large crack to the right clearly leads somewhere deeper and appears to have claw marks, though very old and the sewer continues down, however this hole to the left leads into a area you can assume is where the wererats are, but have not yet looked inside. It is a large enough hole to simply walk into.

Nature DC 17:

The claw marks appear to be wererat. Many of the markings appear to be warn down over the years but you're certain they were made by wererats.

Perception DC 13:

You can hear a conversation between humanoid creatures. They seem to be talking about life on the surface and if they really shout be starting a war with the surface, opinions on both sides and the squeeks of very large rats too.

Krenn will shuffle weapons in his belt loops so that his silver hammer is right by his right hand. He'll make sure his shield is in place and then start in.

As you start to walk across the sewer water into this room you see a bunch of mushrooms growing in a pile and as you move a strange purple toatstool amungst them begins to stir, screaming loudly, setting off an alarm.

Knowledge nature DC 11:

Shriekers are subterranean plants that emit a loud wail when they sense movement or light.

Knowledge nature DC 16:

Subterranean predators know a shrieker’s noise indicates the presence of possible prey and move toward the sound.

Knowledge nature DC 21:

Some civilized underground creatures use shriekers to alert them to the presence of intruders.

Shriekers sometimes form symbiotic relationships with aggressive, mobile plant creatures.

It continues to scream as walking across the water appears to have set it off and three large rat-like people looking similar to Eries Yelloweyes when she showed what she was, accompanied by two dire rats.

They approch the sewer water tentively since the mushroom has gone off they have no reason to avoid it and they hold weapons that appear to have been dumped in the sewer themselves sometime ago. Two have shortswords and another is holding a rapier.

"Surfacers have arrived. Do we get Girrigz?" one of them asks as they spread out with weapons ready and rats at the side.

The mushroom continues it's screaming.

The wererats at first seem surprised at your confidence to enter these tunnels but then they attack, doing their job.

They move in and attack Krenn, being a small area you all had to go in single file and didn't get far before the fungus started screaming.

Jerin will dig in his pack and draw out his scroll of sleep. He will begin to cast it this round. Casting time is 1 round so it will no go off until the start of his next turn.


Krenn readies his silver hammer and swings at the ratty in F9, hoping to reduce their numbers quickly.

The attacks on Krenn were useless as two slash attempts he side-stepped and the final rapier stab his armour deflected with ease.

There are now multiple Jerins in the tunnel and the wererats don't know what to think, but keep strong as they have companions on the way.

Curnach is summoning.

Arianna's glitter dust covers the area and both the wererats and dire rat that are affected by the dust are blinded and stagger about.

Curnach finishes summoning, and a giant ant drone appears at G13, blocking the reinforcements. The augmented ant wastes no time before immediately biting and stinging the foe in G14...

Simultaneously, Curnach quickly casts another spell, conjuring a great sphere of fire directly in front of Krenn at G9.

The wererat in G9 must make a DC18 reflex save or take the damage, as does anything else entering or passing through that square. It should do +50% damage if the swarm passes through too.

Jerin finishes his sleep spell and drops it at the intersection of F,G 9,10 to catch the two wererats in front of Krenn. DC 19 Willpower Save
He then quickly casts Grease on the intersection of G,H 14,15 catching the 3 wererats facing off with the ant. DC 17 Reflex Save

Didn't see that Krenn had posted when Alex asked me if he dropped the wererat, yeah he did so I assume the flame sphere was aimed at the creature he cleaved into

Krenn's heavy attack takes down the first wererat and his warhammer crashes into the second, not killing it but making him hiss in pain of the silver weapon being used on him. The flaming sphere nearly ends it, however the agile wererat dodges the ball of fire.

The Giant Ant's bite and sting don't appear to penetrait the flesh of the wererat. It does manage to grapple and sting the wererat which appears to go pale and ill.

The wererat appears to shake off the sleep and remains standing.

Two of the wererats slip up on the grease and two fall prone to the floor, the larger more angry wererat sneering at this.

The wererat in F9 which has taken the hit from Kren and nearly hit by the flaming Sphere is hit with Arianna's Daze spell, knowing it under a daze.

That was the one that made the save. The other was already knocked down due to Krenn's hammer. I'll post when I get back rarther than make a rushed post with huge mistakes.

No everyone is immune and it is still screaming. Also the wererat grappling the ant is now prone too.

Wererats

The wererat Krenn has struck is dazed and remains on the spot.

The wererat grappling the Ant attempts to break out of it which it struggles and is unable to break it and it visably seems weaker from the poison the ant had stung him with.

Another wererat near Krenn 5ft steps and attacks him. This one is unharmed and completely misses.

Retcon:Curnach aimed the flaming sphere at the wererat in grapple with the Ant and the flaming sphere hits it. 3d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6) = 8

Girrigz: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

The other wererats can't step past the wererat that is being grappled by the ant and the big wererat with a masterworked chain shirt and a silver rapier. He hisses and steps over above one of his wererats who is being grappled by the ant and stabs his blade into the fellow wererat repeatedily and savagly biting him too, killing the wererat outright. The other's look frightened by Girrigz display of savagry and with the blood of a fellow wererat fresh on his blade and mouth he points to the group and ant.
"Destroy the surfacers before they destroy you. They come here to kill you and your children. We will take over the surface world and we will gain respect." he spits and leers at the group as drool appears to go down his chin.

Girrigz: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30 & 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

damage: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 & 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

bite: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Reflex DC 18: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
The wererat moving into the square under the command of Girrigz is struck by the ball of fire dealing 3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4) = 14 fire damage. He takes the full brunt of the damage and attacks the giant ant whilst trying to maintain it's balance on the grease but misses compeltely.

grease DC 171d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Wererat G-14 attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 and bite 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6

Wererat F-14 attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 and bite 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15

damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 and bite 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

The remaining wererat gets up from prone, taking out a small crossbow and aiming at the group, pointing it at the human who has multiplied.

Wererat G-15 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 and he completely misses, not even hitting one of the false images.

Dire Rats

Dire Rat 2 at the south is still blinded by the glitter dust.

Dire Rat 1 moves over to where the Giant Ant is, helping in trying to take it down but completely misses.

attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Initive: Rat Swarm 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

The swarm makes it way and tries to muscle it's way into the group, jumping and hopping all over Krenn and Arianna, however due to the attack of Oppitunities the two took the ratswarm lost it's bulk and the rest scattered before they could do anything.

Krenn AoO: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

I assume Arianna had her scarf out still from earlier.

Arianna AoO: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Phew, well that was a round and a half and it's only my creatures so far. Krenn's turn now.


Krenn swings his hammer on the ratty in G9.

I doubt that's a success, so Cleave is not an option.

Curnach-

Curnach casts Entangle centred at the south-east intersection of square F10. The 40 feet radius covers the entire visible map and beyond, making the whole area difficult terrain (double movement cost), but more importantly causing roots and vines to rear up and begin grappling foes.

Entangle Spell Link (Also has condition for reference)

Reflex Save DC17 for all foes to not be initially entangled. Difficult terrain for everyone regardless of the save. Foes that are not entangled but remain in the entangled area must save again at the end of their turn. Note you can't charge on difficult terrain either ;). Entangled creatures can attempt to break free as a move action, making a Strength or Escape Artist check (DC17).

Jerin looks at the terrain and his inability to use his effective weapons on his foes, he decides to set up his next move and casts Vanish on himself. He tells the others, I am going invisible and then moving into the room to start blasting the round after next.
He moves 5' up so that he in sqeezed with Arinna and whispers Sorry getting ready to sneak into the room the wreak havoc.

Girrigz roars, really angry at being covered in glittery golden sparly stuff and some of his wererats trying to rub it from they're eyes. He growls as he waits to try and get a way past. You all notice he's wearing a masterworked breastplate and his sword appears to be made out of Mithral.

Found out the conversion of Girrigz has better stuff as the treasure in this part is backlogged so his rapier is no longer silver but Mithral and he's wearing a breastplate not chain shirt anymore.

Wererats

First wererat snaps out of his daze and now lashes out at Krenn with the other wererat, thoughboth completely miss.

Wererat 1: short sword 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 miss & bite 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1 miss

wererat 2: rapier miss 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 & bite 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5 miss

Wererat 3: short sword 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 miss & bite 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15 miss

Wererat tries to break the grapple with the Giant Ant 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 which fails completely.

The final Wererat is unable to do anything, but tries to break out of the plantlife that's grappling him 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10, however he doesn't appear to be doing well.

Dire Rats

Dire Rat attacks the Ant 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 and completely misses, hitting it's thick hide but not deep enough to harm him.

Blinded Wererat manages to shake off the blindness finally removing it, which is the end of it's round action so it doesn't do anything.

Since that is likely a success, I'll roll for a Cleave against F9.

The ant mercilessly attempts to keep its foe grappled, and then shifts its prey into a pinned position atop the flame.

Curnach-

Curnach steps in behind Arianna to hurl fire at the rat in F12.

Arianna will pull out her wand of cure light wounds and use it to cure some of Krenn's damage.

Jerin is currently on delay, as soon as Krenn drops the wererat in front of him he plans to move into the room to D10 which will require a double move due to entangled terrain. Should give me 2 rounds of invisibility left. So that will be my round 4 action since it looks like round three will be wasted since my way is blocked.

The two wererats in front of Krenn launch they're attack on Krenn in hopes of killing the surfacer or infecting him.

Dire Rats

The second dire rat bites into the Ant: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1 and with that attack the rat falls to the floor unconcious and bleeding.

The shrieker ends it's screaming, but then starts up again, however you are all uneffected and immune to it's screaming.

As discussed on MSN, the Ant's CMD is 19 so the wererat is still pinned.

Ant-

Curnach's summoned ant maintains the pin, biting the wererat with brutal ferocity before fading back to the realm it was summoned from.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31 CMB to damage with sting, crit threat...
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 CMB to damage with sting, crit confirmed...
2d6 + 12 ⇒ (4, 5) + 12 = 21 Critical hit damage
3d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5) = 11 Flaming sphere damage

Curnach-

Curnach is completely unaffected by the wererat's attempt to intimidate him, sneering back and openly laughing as the roots he conjured grab the leader yet again. He hurls fire at any remaining, concious target within 30 feet.

Why would you want it to, we have a very nice bottleneck here with the barkskinned fighter and continual entangle... Why not throw a web where my ant just disappeared to slow them further and i'll ignite it ;).

Right now I can't really target anyone with my spells like lightning bolt or my other more powerful spells with Krenn in the way or the fact that I can't really see the leader...I want to see him, then web and blast him to tiny bits!!!!!!! lol's
