As they come closer, the skeletons broken and rusted sets of chain shirt armour make horrid metallic noises as they creak and groan in symphony to the skeleton's movements. Marcus' falcata cuts through the first skeleton, dropping it to the ground in a clatter of bones and broken armour. Two skeletons claw at Marcus unsuccessfully, their skeletal fingers tearing at his armour and shield with surprising strength but not injuring him. The skeleton facing him directly surges forward against Marcus' shield, and Marcus' falcata descends upon the skeleton without harming its armour- the skeleton shoves against Marcus' raised shield and forces him back into the room. The skeletons swarm into the room, moving to rapidly engulf Marcus, Tun'ada, Ishorou and Gwen, raising their claws in preparation for vicious blows in a few moments...

I would have given Tun'ada an AOO among others, but as you are flat-footed you don't get one unless you have combat reflexes.

Gwen is successful in her attempt to distract the closest skeleton. Chi's arrow flies wide of her targets. Tun'ada's claw smashes a skeleton apart, and Savarend's martial prowess brings down another.
Aerys moves into the melee, near Savarend, seemingly used to fighting alongside the Dwarf now. She slams her arm into the skeleton after ducking underneath its claws, breaking it apart at the ribcage.

Aerys AOO-

The skeletons all lash out at their chosen targets with both skeletal claws. Many are targeted at Marcus, but his armour and shield arm hold firm as he whirls to defend himself from multiple combatants. Aerys has a claw thrust through her studded leather armour, and staggers back from the blow, barely left standing after the trials of the day. Ishorou is struck twice by seperate assailants, and with what seems to be a fiendish glint in its eye, the skeleton who downed him lashes out at his prone form with another claw. His fate is unknown, but he is face down on the ground.

Seeing Marcus's struggle, Gwen determines that she does not wish to see an ally fall today. She begins to cast, paying close attention to the skeleton next to her.

Gwen manages to get her curing spell off on Marcus, just barely maintaining her focus with the help of Jask's boon. Chi cuts at a thin piece of bone, almost collapsing the whole skeleton in the process- but it remains standing, barely. Ambroze continues to aid Sasha's defence, and Tun'ada steps across the fight and destroys two skeletons in a blur of claws.
Tun'ada your original target was the skeleton that should have gone down last round, so I took the liberty of 5 footing you and splitting your attacks.
Savarend moves over to the final skeleton and with a complex martial strike, kicks out both legs from under it. The skeleton collapses in a pile of bones, and the fight is finally over.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

With piles of bones strewn across the floor, the dead returned to their rest, Chi quickly moves over to kneel down by her mentor Ishorou, nestling his head in her arms. Her blonde hair cascades down falling across his pale drawn cheeks, "Come quick Gwen, tell me if he'll be alright?" Her frame jumps as tears well up inside, and a gentle sobbing takes over.

Marcus spares a very grateful look for Gwen before sinking nearly to his knees.
Didn't you hear Ishorou? Noone is allowed to die today.
With some effort he plucks a clawed forefinger from his shield and tosses it away. Gah. How do they run around on just bones like that? Abadar's oath they make my skin crawl!
Search and rest? We still have an unidentified wand I believe.

A search of the ship reveals little of interest- just another rotting vessel inhabited by the Undead. By now it seems almost commonplace. The thorough search takes half an hour and you find-
1. A fully stocked, dusty healers kit. (10 uses, worth 50GP, weighs 1LB).
2. A medium sized longsword with a sawback edge (allows crude carpentry). (Worth 20GP, weighs 4 lbs).
3. Three square yards of silk, preserved in a small chest (trade good- worth 30GP)
4. A cold-weather outfit (worth 8GP, weighs 7 lbs)
12:50PM, Day 12. Midday heat usually abates at 3PM.

Sasha winces at her wounds as she sits down, and shakes her head in disbelief.
I still can't believe we all survived the day. I mean, i'm optimistic by nature but when I saw you stand against two dozen cannibals... You are all heroes. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Chi smiles at Ishorou, "Whatever deal you struck with Alanto-San, it seems a price worth paying today...ha ha ha!" she chuckles over him, as she lets him get up slowly. "But when you've recovered from the sun, perhaps we should find somewhere were we can all rest and defend tonight against any other intrusions onto the wreck, unless any one else has found a safe place?"
With that Chi and cat sit in the shade of the wreck until the midday heat has passed.
