Having difficulty seeing Chi stats...my machine is very busy...please can Gwen or Alex play me til I get my machine sorted out..
No problem, will have you continuing to shoot the savage restraining Sasha.
Chi sends another arrow flying through the air to injure the savage restraining Sasha, the arrow plunging into the cannibal's abdomen.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Rather than being disheartened by their fleeing leader, the cannibals jeer at him as he flees, and spur themselves on to greater efforts. Clearly, the leadership of the tribe now appears to be up for grabs, and this apparently means a great deal to the savages.
One of the savages who just crossed over begins to start waking the sleeping savages up, pulling Jask's guard to his feet after kicking him hard in the ribs. In turn, the woken cannibal moves over to another sleeping man, ready to wake him up in but a moment.
The savage guarding Sasha tires of her struggling, and in her tied up state she is helpless to resist as the cannibal knocks her out with a massive blow from his fist. Once he has finished with her, the cannibal moves to begin moving towards the swirling melee.
The savage wounded by Gelik gives up trying to hit the nimble Gnome, dropping his scimitar and reaching for him with both hands.b] Get your filthy hands off me![/b] Gelik cries out as he stabs the savage once more, his longsword fending off the knave.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
1d20 ⇒ 5
Having taken measure of you now, the cannibals screaming and depravity goes a little quieter as they begin to show you respect- moving to flank you and shifting about to gain adantages they would not otherwise have sought.
Two cannibals end up flanking Aerys, one of them cutting through her armour with his scimitar while the other serves only as a minor distraction.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 Hit vs Aerys
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Savarend's wounded savage launches another blow at the Dwarf, who hasn't even had to rely upon Chi's magic to protect him yet, ducking and weaving under blows too clumsy to catch the disciplined warrior.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Tun'ada finds himself defending himself from two seperate attacks, one savage finding his scimitar plunging through Tun'ada's armour to cut the tribesman again. The cannibal howls in exultation and seems to be looking around to see if anybody witnessed his triumph.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Hit vs Tun'ada
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
A fresh assailant enters the fray, rushing Marcus- but with a clumsy blow that is easily avoided.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Two more savages hurtle across the bridge, which creaks and groans even louder under their weight- but holds for now. The two savages are followed by the old woman, who emerges from cover and crosses slower ; but surprisingly quickly for a woman of her age.
Marcus Alanto
So just to clarify it seems one each of the savages facing Gelik, Aerys and Savarend are wounded. The guy that Chi just shot came across the bridge last turn. The other guy Chi shot last round that ran up is where? Is he the fresh guy that just attacked me?

Forgot the dimorphodon so will resolve that in this post-
Flying past a wounded savage, Sasha's pet tries for another fly-by, managing to bite a cannibal in the neck and deliver its poison as it swoops past...

Marcus I track the damage on each cannibal by assigning them numbers but tracking the individual who hit Sasha is actually quite difficult as i'm handling 20+ combatants; its requiring significant mental agility even with maptools :P. The one who knocked out Sasha is the savage closest to the Dimorphodon and yes he is heavily wounded. The other ran i've lost track of, but he ended up charging at you. The cannibal to your direct right is wounded.
Marcus Alanto
Lord please don't take any of my comments as criticism I think you are doing a completely amazing job of keeping it running so smoothly. I'm supposed to be working on something important and I've just been sitting here hitting refresh all day to see what happens. Given things could still go pear shaped any minute I'm just trying to track in my own head where the wounded guys are.
Gwenyth
Seeing a lynchpin in the cannibal's tactics, Gwen swallows her frantic urge to heal her allies and instead seeks to weaken the savage's positioning. She gestures to the savage in AF-18.

Showing considerably more nerve than his leader, the savage targeted by Gwen nevertheless goes somewhat pale from the necromantic energy sapping his will to fight.
Shaken, not stirred (or frightened for that matter).

The barbarian leader finishes crossing the bridge and attempts to run through his men- four of them grab him and pin him down together, refusing to allow him to flee the battlefield.
No worries I didn't think you meant anything by it. Rest assured, if an attack drops a savage I have other's attacks target the next best target :).
Tun'ada
Tun'ada turns to Marcus, "Keep focusing our attacks on the same savage to limit the numbers of our enemies."
Tun'ada will attack the savage in -AF20, and if Tun'ada and/or Marcus drop the bastard, Tun'ada will 5ft step into -AF20 afterwards.

Round Four:
Knowledge (local): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Ambroze studies the cannibals for a moment, and (assuming his Knowledge check is high enough to activate his Naturalist ability) begins calling out advice to his companions for how to best battle their adversaries. As he speaks, he reloads his crossbow.
Standard action to activate Bardic Performance (Naturalist) ability: all allies within 30 ft receive a +1 insight bonus to AC and on attack rolls and saving throws against exceptional, supernatural, and spell-like abilities used by the cannibals. Move action to reload crossbow.
Note that the insight bonuses granted by Ambroze's Naturalist ability stack with the morale bonuses granted by Gwen's Bless spell, and with the competence bonus to attack rolls granted by Gelik's Inspire Courage. So everyone affected is +3 to hit vs. the cannibals.

Aerys aka DM AK
Chi's arrow falls short of the old woman, and Ambroze begins to call out advice for fighting the raving lunatics your up against. Aerys follows up on her right hook with a high kick to the cannibals throat- and the man goes down gargling into unconciousness.

Nah just making myself do work.
Standing back to back with Tunáda Marcus forces down the nagging pain in his ribs and surveys the field with a practised eye. With Ishorou leaving a hole and the sheer number of savages, the neat line has disintegrated into a chaotic melee. Aerys, the cannister of alchemist's fire sticking out of her belt has been sucked into the fray. We're holding on but not moving forward. And they're far from breaking. Dammit we may have to kill every one of them.
Feeling Ambroze's magic sweep over him and sharpening his mind, he explodes into a series of sweeping blows with sword and shield against the wounded savage.

If the falcata hit kills his foe Marcus will swing on to the frightened savage.
Ishorou aka DM AK
Marcus' falcata comes crashing down into the neck of the fresh foe facing him and Tun'ada, and his shield further wounds the savage to his right. Tun'ada finishes off the wounded cannibal with a clean stroke, the duo having managed to kill two targets in a matter of moments.
Exploding into a ranting rage, Savarend pummels the face of a fresh assailant into a pulp, leaving the stunned savage bleeding on the ground from horrific facial injuries.
Ishorou moves to flank a cannibal attacking Tun'ada, taking advantage of the savages distraction to cut the savage down with a katana through the spine.

Two savages flank Tun'ada as he steps onto yet another slain foe, hacking away at him with their scimitars. One of them manages to slash through Tun'ada's armour and wound the tribesman further.

1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Hit VS Tun'ada
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
The two savages facing Savarend and Aerys disengage from the melee and hurl javelins, one at Aerys and one at the Dwarf. Aerys is hit high in the shoulder and staggers back in pain, and Savarend braces himself for the pain as he leaps aside a fraction too late- only for the javelin to bounce harmlessly a few inches away from his skin.

1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

The six savages gathered from those who were put to sleep and acting as reinforcements charge into the fray, one rushing Tun'ada, two attacking Marcus, two rushing at Savarend and a single foe pushing past his comrades to also attack Marcus- giving the beleagured warrior a chance to cut him as he passes, severely injuring the fresh cannibal.

1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Two more savages brave the rope bridge- charging across and screaming to whatever heathen gods they must worship. The bridge promptly collapses underneath them as they run. Both savages attempt to speed across to the other side in time, but the collapse is too sudden, too early. Both cannibals fall screaming into the shallow river below, landing hard. The bridge has utterly collapsed, and the remaining savages with their leader howl in fury.

The 4th attack on marcus referred below the attack on Savarend doesn't have a description. If thats a hit I'm down.

Gwen releases a healing burst of energy that catches all of the castaways in its burst, choosing to exclude the cannibal Gelik just dropped, the cannibal Ishorou cut down, the cannibal Aerys knocked out and the wounded cannibal adjacent to Savarend and Marcus. The wave of restorative energy flows out over everyone else, causing wounds to close up and cuts to instantly heal over. It is too early to tell if Gwen's healing was sufficient to awaken any of the downed cannibals.
1d6 ⇒ 6
Chi's arrow and Ambroze's bolt slam into the old woman, the two fresh blows proving sufficient to have her fall bleeding out once more.
Marcus Alanto
Marcus sucks in a few lungfuls of sweet air before the final wave of savages crashes into them again. Lucky the bridge fell in. Nice plan with the fire. He can feel the battle is at its critical point. The savages know it too he thinks. If we can just hold for a few more moments the archers can down the woman, turn on the warriors... They have nowhere to run. And the scimitar slips through his guard. For a second he thinks its over but feeling returns. Blood is running freely now down his leg. The rib must have turned it. His instincts scream at him to fold back with the others and form a fighting square but that would leave Tun'ada isolated. Just need to hold a little longer..
Fight defensively attacking the savage between tun'ada and ishorou.

The savages on the other side of the river do not wait for their comrades, but simply flee back down the game trail to the west, running at full speed.
Once the AOO's are resolved i'm taking us out of combat and back into narrative.
Marcus Alanto
As a mercenary, Marcus's normal instincts are to allow a routed enemy force to flee the field but he has no second thoughts about hacking at the fleeing savages. The leader is still alive. This isn't going to stop until one group is dead. Its us or them.

The remaining cannibals attempt to leap into the river and flee the scene of battle, but are cut down and shot full of arrows before they make it. Including the two that survived the fall into the river, you estimate only six cannibals survived the brutal skirmish, seven including their leader. Sasha and Jask are safe and rescued, and you breathe a sigh of relief- miraculously nobody is critically injured.
Gelik moves over to heal Marcus with his remaining magic, gently teasing the warrior about 'being so careless as to let a handful of cannibals cut through that fine armour of yours'.

After the battle is over, Marcus simply sinks to his knees for a few moments, barely able to believe that everyone survived and Sasha and Jask are safe despite things not going to plan.
He looks out at the field and the heaps of cannibal bodies. It's unbelievable. Tun'ada and Savarend are warriors but Ambroze is a scholar whatever his magical gifts and Gwen and Chi are still barely more than girls (however old Chi is). No thats not right. They are far more than that. They proved it in blood here today.
To Gelik: Thanks my friend. You fought bravely and well today.
After speaking to Gelik, Marcus will sort of hover around near Sasha trying to ascertain if she is alright in mind and body but too embaressed to say anything.
I'm at full with cure #1 and the channels so the second should be spread out. So we killed 24 cannibals and the spirit guide? Wow. I can mentally hear a level ding.
