outside the shop Fulito was studying a map of the region muttering something about darkwood vale and a logging camp.

He frequently looks around as though trying to get his bearings

that vale is the oldest section of the forest, I wonder if the loggers would know more? he says to himself.

Fulito hands him the worn out map complete with mud stains rain damage maybe a spec of mold in a section but overall mostly readable.

the most obvious thing on the map though is the north indication is hand drawn and is indicating the wrong direction as north.

Fuilto makes a Local Knowledge check Knowledge(local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 and recalls hearing something about the Logging Camp Foreman Being a very impatient man, but susceptible to bribery.

Rikkil Makes an Intelligence Check Intelligence: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 and Recalls Laural mentioning a man from the logging camp named Milon Rhoddham, who came to the shop looking for a cure for his nephew..

Fulito Suggests that we seek out the foreman of the camp for more information.

Rikkil Suggests that we look for Milon Rhoddam Since Laurel seemed to think he was an excellent source of information.

Cold Eyes, Morzul:
The loggers seem to soften up a bit, the apparent leader of this group steps forward and says:

"Fella's Look, we spend all of our time here in this camp, processing the wood for the consortium, we don't know anything about the towns, and very few of us go out into the woods to harvest so we don't know much about these woods either, we are just workers here trying to make some coin for our families..

You can tell that these men are strongly motivated by Money...

Fulito must have posted as I was typing the last post where i botted his actions..lol..

The men look at Fulito and give him Strange looks the leader scratches his head and says:

"uh...We don't know nothing about the Oldest tree in the woods, or anything else..we just work here..your gonna want to talk to the foreman if you need that kind of information..I can take you to his office if you want, but be warned hes very impatient and very busy, and doesn't have a lot of time for small talk.."

As the leader offers to take them to the foreman's office, one of the other men takes the 1sp from Morzul puts in in his pocket and says sarcastically:

"Thanks for the donation..ill try not to spend it all in one place..keep the other..i have no clue where Milon is."

With that the leader of the group takes them to the Foreman's office, as he starts to leave he says:

"I'll go get Jarlben, he be here in a few minutes.."

As you look around the foreman's filthy office, you notice it is thickly decorated with taxidermies of fierce forest animals.

Grimacing at all the 'trophies', Bedlam's face turns an angry reddish the longer he stands there.

Mayhaps, we be waiting outside? This office be making me...uncomfortable.

a few minutes later a big burly looking man comes marching into the office, takes a look at everyone and scowls:

"Alright, what is that you want..I don't have time to beat around the bush, and i swear to the Gods if you are here to waste my time..ill chop every last one of ye into bits and use ye as chum!!"..

"..HAHAHAA..You'll have to do a lot better than 1 sp Son if you want me to tell you anything..you're wasting my time.."

" The foreman is starting to get visably agitated.."

Cold Eyes Stands tall and pulls down his hood glaring at the burly man.
intimidate/aid another: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11


The foreman Looks at the Dwarf and his companions, and sizes them up, you can tell he feels intimidated..a positions that he is not accustomed to..he says:

" Alright then lad's no need to get your hair in a dander..I've got the information you need right here"..

The foreman walks calmly over to his desk and opens the drawer, inside he retrieves a small silver bell, he turns back and looks at the Companions and rings the bell..the bell rings out loud and true, amazingly loud in fact for such a small bell..he then sets it down back in the desk drawer and turns back to the companions..they see he has a sly smile upon his face.

Moments later, you hear a loud noise outside and the door to the office burst open and before you can act, 20 men appear, all carrying axes and looking rather irate the shear number of them being too much for the dwarf at the door to block, Bedlam gets pushed to the side and surrounded...as they shuffle into and around the office..the foreman looks back over at the Companions..and says:

"You were saying something about things getting ugly master Dwarf?..now lets try this again shall we?

At the sight of the odds being overwhelmingly out of the groups favor Bendorf calms a bit and tries to defuse the situation and says, "Now now fella, there be no reason to be hasty. We just be searching for some medicines to cure the towns folk and been told you laddies might be pointing us in the right direction."
