The king is dead! In the Varisian port city of Korvosa, the death of a monarch leads to chaos, and only a small group of heroes can hope to save the city from its own darkest tendencies.

Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.

Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.
Rolls that will be handled by the GM:
Perception
Sense Motive.

if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.

Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.

Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...

Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: You are villains. Villains are smart, resourceful and have style! Have you ever seen a memorable villain that could just swing his sword and do nothing more?

Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).

Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."

The next day Donagar will dispel magic the chest and it takes some time but you manage to get the chest open.

Inside you find a bag of holding type II.

Inside the bag you find a full set of armour and a sword that you instantly recognise as the ones used by Blackjack the local hero!

The set includes:
Black leather Boots of Elvenkind
+2 slick Black Leather Armor
Amulet of proof against detection and location
Black leather gloves of dexterity +4 (with 2 fingers in the right hand containing wooden fingers)

Quickly fills him in on the attempt on the queens life and the results, and then that the treasure box contained blackjacks gear, but due to the platinum in it we didn't have to sell off any of his gear to bring him back...on a side nite he is broke......

Back up to half, Drakus quickly donned his clothing and armor again.
"OK, the mission was ta find Vencarlo, then take him to that village. But with his house burned down, how the hell are we supposed to fine him now?" He asked plaintivly.

So Drakus still has 2 negative levels but you should be fine to head to the house of the painter so we can do that.

Salvator’s home is a leaning, decrepit building located on the Narrows, not far from one of the many now-ruined bridges that once connected Old Korvosa to the mainland. The bridge was destroyed to help maintain the quarantine.

You knock and there is no answer. You try the door and it opens.

The smell in this entry is of must and mildew, much of it coming from the mud tracked over the floorboards, as if a small army had marched through the room. To the south stands a single empty set of shelves.

dc 15 survival. There was definitely a struggle here involving half a dozen people and someone was dragged out.

You check the house room by room and finally enter the studio were you find an elven woman.

"Well who do we have here? Are you also looking for Salvatore or rather did you come for me" she says

The elf woman chuckles. "I do not need to be saved cutie but maybe we can work together. I actually know were Salvatore is being held but I cannot get to him. I'd be willing to share this information with you so long as you make sure to bring him to me once you got him out. I'm sure that wont be a problem for a big strong guy like you." she says.

She wears a red cloak over most of her body but as she moves around you can tell she is wearing a strange suit of full body chainmail covered in little metal spikes and she has a spiked chain wrapped around her waist.

You do not believe she is lying, she is actually being surprisingly forward and she practically radiates confidence.

If you agree I will tell you about something else I found that you might find very interesting." she hold up a piece of cloth covered in blood. "I cast a few spells on it and was very surprised myself. I found it here and it belongs to an important city officiallll" she says in a playful tone.

You rest until the next day and get ready to go after the new king of old Korvosa the elven priestess leads the way. as you approach she asks
"So what is the plan?"
