Yep that's fine! I'm enjoying reading these downtime posts.
Fyi I'll be gone all day but will try to check in.

Due to Cal using the docks to gain capital on days 24-26, Capital is reduced by 3 Goods. Strongbox is increased by 23.2 due to not earning the Capital and Dock being busy.
Capital: 1 Goods, 1 Influence, 3 Labor
Dock Strongbox: 26.2
Cal's Purse 423 - 105 - 90 - 150 + 27 + 34 + 37 = 176
Adjustments made on character sheet through day 26.
I'll fit this into a RP post in the next day or two.

I'll post when I get a chance to sit down this afternoon. Currently lamenting fact that anniversary edition won't release until we've completed book 1 :(.
Dr. Pietro Bartori
A few minutes later he returns with someone else--Li's hair is now a rich shade of plum wine. It's dark purple highlights catch the morning sun in a flattering way.
Tag Li.
Purple? That's just mean. :)
The Wicked GM
It's only temporary!
Thanks for quoting my misuse of "it's". Gosh, that's just meaner ;).
The Wicked GM
The Shingles are in many locations because they exist up above the streets. It's an interconnected rooftop highway that extends over many areas of the city. Some liken it to a scab growing over the city.
There's a more detailed description over on the campaign tab.
Questions?
The Wicked GM
Sorry to hear that Li :(. Thinking good thoughts for you.
Marial "Mouse" Redfist
Sudden promotion opportunity (interviewed today), sudden workload increase, sudden dentist appointment, sudden sleeping issues...life really needs to stop happening all at once. I'll catch up later tonight.
The Wicked GM
Looking for proposals to gain entry to Trinia's flat. So far knocking, asking, and gently pushing on the door have garnered no result. Other suggestions?

I think we are all waiting for 'strong man' Garvid to kick the door open.
Can you bot him if he's not available?
it would out of character for Pietro to force an entry and he probably couldn't do it anyways. :)
Marial "Mouse" Redfist
I was just about to kick it in - I'm plenty strong enough. I just figured I'd use what the landlady said in case it was some kind of agreed-upon code word Trinia should open the door for. Y'know, to avoid scaring the poor girl half to death. :)

And that was very clever, even if it didn't get a response!

Ok, got it. Thanks.
We're still waiting on Mouse...
And the girl is getting away! :)
The Wicked GM
I'll update later today. If mouse isn't able to post by then I'll simply delay her turn and move Trinia.
Marial "Mouse" Redfist
Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days! Still figuring out job/promotion stuff, still getting workload out of the way, still have sore throat/cough/earache, and now I'm looking at a possible relapse of the stuff that put me in the hospital. It is a fun, fun time to be me. :D
Calcedon
Let's do a sitdown in the first floor sitting room. The second floor sitting room is being used for costuming and the dining hall for... something I can't reveal yet.
Edit: Have I mentioned how much fun I've been having lately? I really should..
Dr. Pietro Bartori
Sorry for the delay. I had a double shift yesterday, and house guests. I might be a bit spotty in the next few weeks as well, since my wife is nearly due, and we're expecting a new baby soon.
Congrats on that baby. I take it you have other kids.
My baby days are long past. My wife and I are having lots of fun raising two teen age daughters. :)
The Wicked GM
Strange, but I haven't been receiving notifications for discussion.
I'm also enjoying this scene. I do want to encourage everyone to state their opinions during this discussion with Cressida. I know that often we worry our"bad diplomacy roll" might mess things up, but here I'm just genuinely interested in how you think Trinia ought to be handled.
The Wicked GM
I believe Yazi is present...
She hesitates just a moment before taking Calcedon's arm, glancing around before slipping into step beside him as you all walk toward the sitting room.
Cressida also commented on your outfit. Unless I misunderstood where you had placed yourself..
The Wicked GM
I can only imagine how much time you're putting into this. I can't wait to see what happens!
The Wicked GM
Great. I will try to move us ahead after that.
The Wicked GM
Yazi I tagged you on that spoiler because you already know about T-Bone. Keep your point :)...ya might need it...
The Wicked GM
Thanks! To the extent you can be that specific, that's great. Otherwise, keeping a rough tally (e.g. rounding off to the nearest 500g) is fine.
Pietro, I'd say that's common knowledge and A-okay.
Calcedon
Hey GM, you wouldn't have a rough approximation of what date it was? I can continue counting days of downtime with straight numbers but that kind of thing kills my immersion. Also, did I get 30 days of downtime or did we just run with 26 because that's how much I did at the time?
The Wicked GM
I actually haven't been keeping track of a date, partly because the AP doesn't specify, but and mostly partly because I'm lazy. But this is as good as any a reason to set one.
The current year is 4708. This much is stated. I believe Paizo usually intends that the real-life release date of the Book corresponds to the time of year in Golarion. Since it isn't really specified in this part, We can assume (March) Pharast 1. Adding 30 days plus a week, give or take, puts us at 8 Gozran 4708 AR, or thereabouts. Sound right?
Let's go with the full 30 days of downtime.
The Wicked GM
A couple things to keep in mind regarding shopping:
1. Healing. Do we have a CLW wand? Who's carrying it? How many charges? Should you pool funds to buy one?
2. Light. You're going down into a burial chamber. Do you have resources to handle darkness?

I have a fully charged CLW wand, 2 CLW spells and an extra open slot.
I also have 2 sunrods (6 hours of light each)
Calcedon
I'm cool with that. Assuming Li got back on day 30, which was the 6th of Gozran, I have six more days to take care of to get to the 8th.
6th Li Returns +6 Labor -60g
7th Retrieve Trinia +3.5 Lockbox
8th Go to Death Warrens after shopping, Stall complete +4.3Lockbox
Capital: 4 Goods, 1 Influence, 9 Labor
Dock Strongbox: 14.5
Purse: 176 + 250 + 32 - 60 = 398
Edit:Also, I already had a Silver Light Mace, so... no morningstar.
The Wicked GM
Since a couple of you have ioun torches (smart!) let's clarify their potency.
As Cal noted, they contain a continual flame spell. As is normal for purchased magical items, I'll assume the torch contains the lowest available spell level. In this case, that's a sorcerer/wizard level 2 spell. This is reinforced by the fact that the torch costs a meager 75gp.
Everyone on board with this assessment?
Garvid Krein
Hm. Don't know if you noticed, GM, or whether I'd mentioned it, but Garvid actually has the Dimdweller alternate racial trait, which gives him darkvision. Just thought I'd mention it now, before it's really relevant, so if that's a problem for you, I can change it now. Thought it made sense for someone patrolling day and night shifts, but, as I said, it's better to mention it, rather than have an argument later.
Calcedon
Yeah, so the darkness spell would counter one of these Ioun Torches, rendering it inert. My home group just renders it inert for the duration of the darkness spell, but I think technically it would kill it for good, making it just a dull gray sphere.
The spell Continual Flame itself was likely cast by a wizard, due to it being more available, and possibly done to increase research funds. In the future, if we look into it, getting a cleric of appropriate level would trump the darkness, and many people swear by having the spell heightened to level 5, which trumps all the darkness spells, at least as far as I know.
That being said, we'll have to figure it out as we go, as our characters aren't really that knowledgeable on such things yet. A little experience should get us there though.
The Wicked GM
Dimdweller is a powerful trait. But you give up skilled, which is itself pretty powerful, so I'd say it's a fair trade.
Thanks for reminding me, though.
