My mastar says it´s usefull to have allways one, just in case Says Maldrek proud of letting others know about his old owner wisdom.

Maybe one of you could break this door, but first I´ll like to investigate this odd marked panel. Had any of you ever seen something similar

Knowledge check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 any knowledge but dungeoneering, this will be a 30

Rallas moves over to take a look at the panel Maldrek mentioned.

Hmm...interesting. I wonder if it is a switch or the like for a room or passage. It does appear to be in an interesting spot.

Silver Crusade

Sarephta continues around along the west wall, looking for any other ways through.

I'll continue searching the room along the west, taking 10 on each square for 22 total looking for traps and avoiding those squares. I'll move all the way around the room in this manner if I can.

Liberty's Edge

Gorwyn-nothing is magical, and you don't see much. If others didn't point out the plate, you might not have seen it.

Maldrek-As you look over the door, you realize that there is some sort of pressure plate mechanic that is necessary to open the door. That or break it down. Since you know so much, you know it will take two plates to open this door and you will need to be on two plates at once for the lock to open.

Rallas-It doesn't look like a secret room or passage, but more of a pressure plate to open the lock.

Sarephta-you are able to walk along most of the west side of the room. you find one more pit trap as you walk to the north and are able to mark it.

Sarephta keeps moving through the room using the same technique until she is able to locate another pressure plate.

Once I find a pressure plate, I'll stand on it and see if we can stand on two at once to open the lock.

Rallas outlines the pressure plate with chalk, then joins in the search for the second switch.

I marked the direction I am going on the map

Liberty's Edge

Sarephta and Rallas both find a few more pressure plates, and after placing some weight on them both, you all hear an audible click from the door. When either of you steps off, you hear another loud click from the door.

The sound of moaning is still coming from somewhere on the other side of that door.

Male Tiefling Witch(Cartomancer)/2: HP (14/14): AC (13/touch=13/flat=10): Saves (Fort=1/Ref=3/Will=2): Initiative +3: Perception +1: Sense Motive -1

The plate was part of an elaborate switch to open the door. We just need to figure out which plates we need to use to open it.

Grand Lodge

Ok, let´s go out for the corpses and put them over the pleasure plates´. At least the horse corpse should weight enough to press a plate.

Any one strong enough to help me picking the corpses?

Silver Crusade

"I think we just need to find all the plates and have us stand on them," Sarephta suggests as she continues searching the room for all the plates.

"Let's just make sure we find them all and then stand on them at the same time."

Silver Crusade

M Oread Warpriest/1

Gorwyn says, "Any idea what that moaning sound is? It might be some horrible ghost-- we've already fought some of the restless dead in here. We should be ready to be attacked if we do open the doors."

"Conflaviel and I can stand on two of the plates between us...."

I think if all of us stands in the plates, then there´s nobody to open the door.

But let´s do that and, if I´m right, then we can go for the corpses

Then Maldrek joins Sarephta in her searching for the plates.

Liberty's Edge

Working as a group it takes you a while to drag some horse bodies in here as the other team carefully marks all the traps and plates. After an hour of hard work you do manage to mark the traps and spring the plates. Rallas carefully checks the door, and it's trap free.

With a slight click, the door opens on to a hallways the forks twice. In the left most path (looking into the rooms from your side) you hear the moaning getting louder.....

My name is Maldrek, and I´ve been sent to retrieve the Everflame, and go back to our town. I can´t tell you anything of "she", but telling us of "she", or at least describe her will be useful.
