Hassan, what Orne and Ika are going to discuss will be a "spoiler" for the others, meaning even while they can read it (they only need to press the "spoiler" button, it might "spoil" some of the fun in the future.
So it is better if you use the [spoiler ] and [/spoiler ] (without the space before the ] to let them choose if to read it or not.

I'm still here. Just managed to work my character into a position of non-involvement. I'm happy to sit by and read everyone's posts until Day 0 is over or something major happens. :)

Alexite's player had to sleep this morning after work and had a tabletop game tonight, so I am just now heading to the IC thread to catch up and post.

Corsario, never played with you before, so I can't trust any situation.

I like the idea of love interest, but can't be certain if it's seduction and she's evil, she's gonna get killed off, etc... And in general would have been moving too fast.

Yes, very commonly the PC's love interests become "damsels in distress" or "dead lovers walking".

Do you know something... that happens in real life too. When we "relate" to others they become "ties" that reclaim time, resources, efforts.

Some say "I do!", some live and die alone.

Your character will have to decide. Do he wants to risk having a broken heart?

Or he prefers living alone?

On other point. Yes, I am moving fast. PbP is slow as it is, so maybe spend 3 or 4 Real Time years for your characters to try and get a relationship working would be the "correct" way, but I don't want to wait for that long.

What, as DM, needs for him is to keep the secret he knows for as long as he can. Ika is right, if the secrets gets out it will have consequences. So maybe Orne don't give a damn about her, but (I hope) he cares about his family.

Speaking of which... If my plan is to "hold Orne hostage" using his relationships, I don't really need Ika... I have Nala and his parents, right?

Weekends can get really busy for some folk. I have two kids under the age of 2, and have two kids' birthday parties to go to this weekend! Not for my kids, but my wife's coworker's kids. Her boss' kid is turning 3 and her coworker's kid is turning 4.

Plus I'm slow cooking some ribs (just put them in the oven, got 8 hours to go before they're ready for the grill), and have a tritip in its marinade soaking up all the flavors. After the kid's bday party this afternoon, I'll be hosting a BBQ swim party for one of my friends (who has five kids himself!).

Busy weekend. :)
