Ah...yes. He asked me to go on a walk through the Carnival after Madame Delisen brought out Jherizhana. And we went through the zoo with Sister Woodmere and Mr. Flavion - they were there to check on the conditions of the animals, but it was fascinating to get to hear them discuss them all! And then, ah... Aliana blushes fiercely, out of embarrassment over the circumstances rather than shame or regret.

I thought it would be best not to disturb you and Papa, so we came here...for some privacy. She gathers her mug from the small nightstand, where she had abandoned it upon Alexite's arrival. I put some money in the till for the night tea.

EDIT: I mean, of course my course of action doesn't change much either way...hooray Constitution check to stabilize and lying unmoving at the bottom of a hole...

I the player have no/nil issues with Aliana's talking.

I however do think it's a hysterical situation to have the nature loving harmonious half-orc who loves and respects language, and therefore it's judicious use...

...experience someone who loves to talk.

It's funny, actually - IRL, I'm totally more toward the quiet, quality-not-quantity-of-conversation end of the spectrum. But somehow, inexplicably, Aliana became a chatterbox. It's just how it goes sometimes. :)

No toe stepping at all! I really like the direction you've all taken this and am happy to have Elric go that direction as well.

I was really hoping for Elric to be more of a forgiving individual than a hard ass cop. Although sometimes he does have to be hard ass, like when he tried to cast the spell to disarm the skulk before negotiating with her. Remove the threat and their position of strength, then bargain. Fortunately, with the excellent role playing everyone has performed, it didn't have to come to that.

I do want him to follow the law as best as he is able, but I made him NG instead of LG so he would also do what is right when the law is wrong. For example, the Sheriff gave him a direct order to not investigate any crime that happened on Carnival grounds, and I did not want to have Elric obey that order if it meant lives were in danger.
