I take you meant to say a 15' radius effect (ie 30' diameter) rather than 30'? I am fine with that, and I'll play that as is, making 'Demoralise' my 2nd level power. I wanted it as a good 'battlefield' power in case we end up in another large scale fight, which isn't so unlikely. Mindlink should eventually free us of the problems of blurting out names in combat and help us coordinate better.

I'm glad you are cool with Expanded Knowledge - I may end up taking it as feat a few times as well, giving how short my powers list is.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Eliminating what's already been handed out -- and assuming you sell almost everything to fair Jerrick. I figure this will be the community treasure list:

90 sp

200 gp
9 vials of pink fluid - CLW
Azmo silver holy symbol

Plus, whatever cash and credit you negotiate with Jerrick.

Please doublecheck me.

Thanks to Set and F. Castor for their help.

Male Human

Actually I think it is 180 sp and 225 gp in total from the various encounters in the sewers and during Arael's rescue.

And no problem Thom. Glad to be of help.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

I'll buy that, F.Castor. Now go negotiate with Jerrick.

Thanks to Set and double thanks to F. Castor for their help.

I would suggest we take two potions apiece and one for Akorian (who has the healing power anyway).

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2009, RPG Superstar Judgernaut

I'm fine with that. Akorian picked up the masterwork crossbow awhile back anyway. So, he's ahead on gear compared to everyone else anyway.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Guys, I looked at the game thread's post count. 1,100! Somehow the 1,000th slipped by without me noticing. I think reaching 1,000 is a good sign that a campaign has a long life ahead. So thanks and congratulations all around.

This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7

Wow! We are doing well, I think: We have a good group of very well established characters with strong personalities and a good cast of NPCs with that.

All Hail Neil Spicer who has apparently caused a new moon to appear in the skies of Golarion.

LOL

Sorry Neil couldn't resist it

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2009, RPG Superstar Judgernaut

Sorry to disappoint, but you'll have to give those kudos to my developer or one of Paizo's editors. My explanation of the planar traits for the Fellnight Realm never made mention of there being two moons.

Ah that's why James was so annoyed when it was pointed out.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Neil, I had a COOL! moment when I thought I'll be in DUrham Wednesday night. But then I looked up the mileage to Charlotte. Oh, well.

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2009, RPG Superstar Judgernaut

Heh. Yeah. That's about 2-1/2 to 3 hours away, I think. North Carolina is a pretty big state. Not the largest, of course, but deceptive in size.

Well just got the pdf for Pathfinder 30 and the end of the fiction is not going to make Akorion happy..is it?

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2009, RPG Superstar Judgernaut

Shush! I haven't read it yet! Are you saying something bad happens to his sister?!? NOOOOooooo!!!

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Neil, I haven't forgotten Ak's inquiry with his sister. I've just got to figure out what she knows.

Male Human

Any of you guys have a Facebook account? Seems to be all the rage these days.

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2009, RPG Superstar Judgernaut

Yes. I've been using it to network with folks in the RPG industry and keep in touch with family members and gaming friends.

This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7

Yes, but I hardly use it I must confess ...

Dark Archive

Some dude

I am facebook-less. I fear technology.

I'm wearing oven mitts so the keyboard doesn't electrocute me. :)

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Too lazy to get an account myself.

Probably the same reason I remain a sock-puppet on these boards. Not that I believe any of the pictures aanyway. They're just better-documented sock puppets.

Set, digging the return of Uqabi.

dabbler, regarding ambush and traps -- Did you read my brilliant plan in FW's Legacy game?

Akorian, way to objectify the foe. Denying their huma -- ahh -- personhood will make it easier to kill them. Next you can demonize them.

Sorry

Yeah, I've been sucking at the familiar-stuff. He's that thing that disappears when he's inconvenient, which is totally cheating... Working on it!

Yep. That's purposeful on my part. I want to portray Akorian as a bit of a racist/species-ist when it comes to tieflings. He's Chaotic Good, after all. So he doesn't have to find redeeming qualities in them. And he definitely views them as less than human...hence, the references to "it"...But, if he's ever faced with an honorable tiefling, he may have re-evaluate his prejudices against them. In the meantime, I'm not thinking the Bastards of Erebus are going to convince him otherwise just yet. ;-)

Sorry, no! But Waifrin is very much a pro-active rather than a reactive person - "attack is the best form of defence" with her. If the enemy doesn't know about you, then the first time they find out should be the last.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

dabbler, don't apologize. My "brilliant" ambush plan was a total failure. Not even a bang! failure. Just a the-car-won't-turn-over-this-morning failure.

Next time we will use the halflings as bait. Not the human archer.

This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7

Hmm. We have no halflings, so we'd better skip the trap option.

I don't blame you. I accidentally nerfed your fine-feathered friend a couple times.

Neil, I hope I can play the Bastards mean enough that Akorian won't change his mind about tieflings.

This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7

I hope we don't give the Bastards of Erebus enough time to be that mean to us ...

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Sorry, all. Work and other factors combining to slow posting. Expect no more than 1 a day from me this week.

dabbler, I'll try not to give you time to be mean to my bastards.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Castor,

Are you familiar with the carnival game whack-a-mole?

Male Human

Never played it, but I do know it, yes. Umm... is there going to be an elven mole...?

Aw, can't we play whack-a-tiefling instead?

I say that we pull back and burn the entire place to the ground with alchemist's fire. It's the only way to be sure...

Did everybody get enough b-ball over the weekend. Some pretty good games, but not as good as last week I think. I am looking forward to Saturday.

Thom you have two Brits and a greek here..baseball is not really our sport

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2009, RPG Superstar Judgernaut

Clearly not...since b-ball refers to basketball rather than baseball. ;-)

And March Madness has been kind of strange this year. Only one #1 seed makes it to the Final Four (i.e., Duke)...and it's not the one most people would have picked. Meanwhile, Butler University gets to play in front of their home crowd. Their school is literally just 6 miles away from the RCA Dome in Indianapolis. And, though I live in ACC country, I'm kind of pulling for Butler to complete the Cinderalla-story and win it all.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Strange, yes, but completely wonderful. The number and quality of the upsets has been incredible. I'm looking forward to three more good games, although if Duke's big three all start hitting their shots we could see a blowout or two.

Where do you stand on the Duke, UNC, NC State divide, Neil, or are your b-ball passions not governed by mere geography?

therealthom wrote:

I'm a Tarheel fan. And though UNC didn't make the dance this year, they are playing in the consolation NIT tournament championship this weekend, as well.

But, in general, I've always appreciated college basketball far more than professional basketball in the NBA. So, I actually enjoy all of March Madness and do tend to pull for every ACC team to advance. It's been a down year for the ACC, but at least Duke made it to the Final Four.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

I have liked the Tarheels for a long time. I greatly admired Dean Smith; it seemed like he was coaching more than basketball to his young men. In fact it was Smith's arguments for players going to the NBA if they were able before graduating that made me rethink the issue.

I agree college basketball is more enjoyable, especially the tournament. I don't get a chance to watch much during the regular season, but always make time for March Madness.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Sorry for slow posting this week. Should be better tomorrow and Friday.

Neil, well DUke won anyway and UNC came close in the NIT. Better luck for the Tarheels next year.

Male Human

The imminent fight being a gentle reminder, unless I am mistaken, the 9 potions of CLW the group had accumulated have been divided as follows, right?

Marius, Raven, Zarabeta and Waifrin each get two and Akorian gets one?

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2009, RPG Superstar Judgernaut

F. Castor wrote:

I believe that's correct. Akorian was willingly going with less than everyone else because he's got access to channeling positive energy and spontaneous healing spells.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Work has gotten got ugly and will be for the next few days. I may be sporadic until Monday.
